Roxy turned slightly pink around the edges with pleasure when the stallion complimented her. She tried to hide it by saying, "Haha, well, see me when I've stubbed my hoof or a diva forgets her lines, and I won't be so nice then!"
She giggled and nudged Beebop gently with her shoulder as he bent. "Silly, y'can't see Stratford from here, it's miles away! Pretty town though... very green, quaint little houses... I should go back there someday, I haven't since I left all those years ago. Ah well.
"So!" Roxy continued pleasantly, feeling like maybe this guy was loosening up a bit. "Got any plans here in the 'Ville? What do you do, profession-wise? Lawyer? Doctor? Retail? Juggling and acrobatics?" She grinned.

Beebop thoguht aboout it for a moment. "I really don't know..." His voice faded off as it never crossed his mind what he wanted to do. He thought he'd think of an answer quick so she doesn't think of him as a low-life. "I want to....uh..hmm..." He froze trying to think again. What did he want to do? It was a tough question since he always thought he had no real talent.

Roxy crossed her ankles comfortably and regarded the stallion. Poor strange chap. She liked him, though, so she tried to be helpful.
"Well, what do you like to do? Any talents? Heck, you don't even need that if you just enjoy something. Hobbies maybe?"

"No." He replied to all of those questions all at once. He was tired of talking about himself. It seems the only hobbies he ever had was getting into fights with other stallions, and keeping to himself.
"Look, I don't mean to be rude, but I think I'd better go. I don't really think this town is for me."
He peered into her eyes just befor he left. It was his way of saying goodbye. With that he walked of. As he went he disapeared into thin air or so it seems.
(con't outer edges)
(ooc: Sorry, gotta get him preped for recruitment)

Roxanne opened her mouth, but the stallion disappeared out of thin air and she let it hang in surprise.
Oh darnit! I actually felt like I was getting somewhere. Seemed like he coulda been a nice guy, too... but obviously has some kinda emotional roadblock going on.
She shut her mouth and hopped down off of the fountain. She gave herself a little shake as if to clear her vague feelings of disappointment and frustration, and snorted quietly. "Bugger magic," she said under her breath, but the next moment she remembered his eyes, and smiled to herself.
She put her chin up and trit-trotted off to find something else of interest.
[OOC: No worries, thanks for telling me!]
