[Time: Er... what time is everyone else at?]
Set was pacing in the square, having finally returned. Seated beside him on the edge of the fountain was Silverfall. Her head was hanging low and her eyes were closed. Each clop of Set's hoof on the rainbow cobbles caused her to wince.
Gllllaaaayyyse!!!! Yaaammmmaaaa!
The internal call resounded through the ether. The god was impatient, waiting to hear from his fellows. He sent his aura outward, seeking, attempting to catch up on the happenings in town since his absence.

Casually, as if he hadn't a care in the world save for the evil stirrings in his heart, the patchwork that was now Glasye sauntered up to the pair. He eyed Silverfall momentarily, a mischievious glimmer in his eye, then turned to Set.
"You rang?" Glasye flashed his teeth in a grin, his appearance the essence of calm. Instead of being on the verge of another great battle, the stallion looked more like he was about to take a stroll down a country road. "Say, Set.. can we talk a little about my.. appearance? I think I want my old look back."

[[Since we forgot about Delta, let's say she isn't his mage. Perhaps she's just as confused as we are and not sure what to do with herself.]]
Set's tail flicked back and forth, highly agitated as he walk around in a small circle. He didn't look at the other stallions as they appeared, but continued to mutter to himself.
At last he came to a stop and looked up,
"I'm tired of skulking," he said. "It's time to unleash our powers and put this candy-tart town to ruin." He looked Glayse up and down, considering his current form. "You wish to change? Then do so. I grant you that power. And much more." Set's aura flooded Glayse, feeding into his power.

(Okay, so I just realised that Yama has only 2 mages, so he's gonna nab Delta, because I really want her to be a mage.)
"Hold up!" Yama protested as he trotted towards Set. "I only have two mages. I need at least one more before I show this town the damage I can cause."

Set seemed to startle at Yama's comment. He quickly recovered, though, walking around the other stallion.
"Yama, Yama, Yama," he began. "We don't need mere mages anymore. We have this..." Set pointed his horn at Silverfall. "The Darkling heir." A wicked grin covered his face. "Isn't that right, my darling?" He bent his head to her.
Silverfall winced and said nothing. The oath she'd taken, the bond that held her to Set, was quickly draining away her power. Worse, it was draining power from the land itself. And when Set offered this power to the others to share, it would increase the drain, likely killing her in the process. At least her daughter would be safe. Set had promised her that. It was all she cared about now and it was all she could do. Thus she sat, drowning in misery.
"But if you still want for another mage," Set said, turning back to Yama. "Then run off quickly now and rustle one up. Use your newfound power to overwhelm one. Perhaps that white mare, from the night of the fire. She had power."
"But be quick," he added a moment later. "I want to kill things."

Glayse raised his eyebrows in delight. "I thought I felt a bit.. tiiingly.." He laughed, "My thanks, Set," He bowed his head to the god. The orange evil didn't necessarily LIKE to express any kind of gratitude or appreciation. That is, unless it got him what he wanted. And it was all about what he wanted.
Standing with feet squared and eyes closed, Glasye thought, All right.. orange! He opened his eyes and looked at his hooves. He sighed, "Blue." Determination settling into his features, Glasye closed his eyes again and pictured himself in all his orange stripe glory, tall, muscular, with piercing sunset eyes and flowing golden-orange hair, with a wickedly delicious white smile and ears that curved in ever so slightly at the top. He remembered the power and the hunger for even more power, and...
...familiarity suddenly overwhelmed Glasye. Opening his eyes and shaking his head briefly, he stepped over to the fountain next to Silverfall. Peering into the fountain, the evil orange stripe grinned back at him. Glasye turned slighlty and gave Silverfall a look that could have sent ice down her spine, then pivoted around to face the other stallions. He reared and whinnied, coming down hard on powerful hooves, the sound of which was like a gunshot. After shaking out his thick mane, he looked at Set, "I'm ready."

[[I'm going to assume Yama has left to get Delta, but I want to go ahead and start posting this since I'm here.]]
Silverfall's anguish could not be mistaken. Anything that had once been beautiful about her, was withered and dying. Her face was wrinkling under the effect of the drain. The colorful bands of soft indigo and blue were fading from her hair. Her hooves and horn were brittle.
Set's giddiness caused him to bounce. He leapt about. Wherever his hooves landed, it broke the cobbles under his feet. The irritating rainbowness was forced to a dusty, pale gray and muddy brown as it was ground into the earth below.
There were a few nondescript characters wandering around the town square at that moment. They looked up, startled by Set's destruction. He smiled violently and reared. His battle cry resounded through all of Ponyville as the wind picked up. It blew across the square, causing the onlookers to tumble, until they were blown flat against the buildings, trapped by his will.
"It's playtime, Glayse," he said. "Have your way with them. Bring the town to its knees and fulfill your service to me. Then the red mare is yours. I have no further need of her."
Set's body rose up into the air, picked up by the swelling of the wind. He overlooked the square, beaming with delight. Power was racing through his veins. He'd missed the taste of blood these long years. Not only that of the mortals, but also the ichor of the gods. He would drain every last one of them.
Madness was overcoming him.
"Bring her to me!" Set commanded, point his horn to a random mare trapped against a letter box on the street. A small tornado of wind leapt from Set's horn. It whirled around the mare, picking her up. She screamed, but it could not be heard.
The mare struggled against the wind as it brought her closer and closer to Set, until at last, in one fierce movement, she was forcfully impaled on his horn. Her silent screams seared through the ether as her blood dripped down his face.
The taste was sweet and inviting.
"More," Set whispered. "More."
Silverfall felt her soul crying out for help. The Mystic should have left her in the realm of the dead. At least there she would have already been at peace.
[[Boy, that Set! Someone really ought to come and put him in his place... *whistles to self and waits for reinforcements*]]

"Aww, I didn't even get to have my fun with her first," Glasye grinned in a fake pout. He felt energetically impacted by Set's murder, and the faint orange glow that once surrounded him began to return. He turned to the ailing silver mare, "You know, I'd have some fun with you, that is, if you didn't look like more of a corpse than that one Set's got," He grinned maliciously after giving her a somewhat disgusted look.
Glancing at the panicking passers-by, Glasye noticed a few stallions standing their ground and looking as if they might try to fight back. Glasye loftily leapt onto the fountain, careful not to get wet. He strutted along the fountain's edge, voice low and powerful, "I wouldn't do that if I were you," He called, arching his neck, "If you kill me, I return with the rest of the Rainbow of Darkness.. you all remember that, don't you?" He grinned as a few gasped wide-eyed. Glasye continued to circle the fountain, the blue water setting off his bright orange, "Yeah. As long as I'm alive and they're dead, they can't come back. And that guy?" He motioned to Set with a chuckle, "He can't even BE killed."
The shutters of a few windows slammed shut to some of the shops, and the square continued to empty.
"You can run," He jumped down with a crack of hooves on cobblestone, "But you can't hide, my friends. And you can fight... but you won't survive."

Set tossed the body of the mare to the ground.
"Well, that's alright, my friend," he said. "When Yama returns, he can bring her back to life. And you can kill her again. And again. And again!" His wicked whinny laughed and laughed. The blood had stained his face and his eyes were glowing softly.
"Who's next?" He spoke in a whisper, but his voice could still be heard amongst those trembling with fear. "Come forward and your death shall be swift. Run and you will only prolong your suffering."

( Since Delta is nowhere at the moment I'll just do this here. This is going to be really bad because I can't think properly. o.o I only got three hours sleep last night. So cut me some slack here. ) Yama had located the snow white mare in seconds. He appeared by her side as she flew through the air. "Delta..." He whispered in her ear. Delta screamed and whipped around, trying to find where the voice had come from. She found, to her horror, that it belonged to the stallion that had beaten Silverfall and set fire to Razzaroo's shop. She stared at him wide-eyed in shock. What if he had come to hurt her too? "Don't be afraid, Delta..." Yama said tauntingly. "I'm here to strike a deal with you..." He circled her in the air, examining her power and delving deep inside her, trying to find what, or who, mattered to her most. In only a minute he had found something he could use against her. "I know about Daji, Delta." He said, matter-of-factly. "And I'm going to be blunt with you. I don't have alot of time to do this, because Set has started the fun without me." He said, laughing. The mare felt her heart give an almighty leap at the sound of Daji's name, but still no words left her mouth. "I want you to be my mage." Finally, Delta found her voice. She spoke with confidence but inside she feared for her life. She laughed. "Why would I do that?" Yama flew closer. "Because if you don't, something terrible might happen to Daji. And we wouldn't want that, would we?" He chuckled. Delta fell silent again. She watched him mournfully, on the brink of tears. But Yama was able to resist the deep, sad blue eyes. He waved his hoof and Delta went into a deep sleep. The god flew underneath her and caught her on his back. He began to fly back to where Set and Glasye where. "I'm so glad we could come to an accord." Yama laughed madly.

Yama touched the ground silently, and he felt Delta roll off of his back.
"How was THAT!?" He laughed. "Faster recruit of a mage I've ever done."
He waved a hoof over Delta's forehead and she woke up. "Don't even think of running away." Yama said to her. "I've bound you to me by magic, so you can't escape."
He turned to Set. "Is it my turn yet?" He chuckled, eyeing the dead mare's body.

[[ Set cuts some slack and hands it to Yama. ]]
"By all means, brother," Set said, waving toward the crowd as he looked down. "Have your pick. There are plenty to go around."

( *Yama stares at the slack for a moment* ... *throws the slack at a random pony and kills it upon impact* ) Yama looked around at the crowd, grinning evilly. He turned back to Set. "You know," He said happily. "This would be so much more fun if I had a horn." ( And more slack, for that matter ) He bowed his head as he got in touch with his new found power. He closed his eyes painfully as the flesh on top of his head began to spiral upwards and become harder. The god opened his eyes as it stopped and trotted over to the fountain to look at his reflection the same way as Glayse had done. "I love it." he murmered, then he whipped around, lowered his head and charged at the nearest pony, a deep blue stallion, and impaled his new horn into the stallion's neck. He reared, pulled the stallion upwards with him, swung his head around and the blue pony flew off into the crowd. "Good fun." He grinned. ( Yay! He has a horn now! w00t! ;D )
