Set dropped like a stone, cursing violently as he went down. Just above the stones, he caught a whiffling tendril of smoke rising from a charred carcass and used it to drift up to the nearest rooftop. He trotted up the slanted roof until he was on the flat peak overlooking them again.
"Careful, Fie Lian," he said beneath his breath, but his mind was still disturbed by Glayse's inability to present himself. He sent his aura outward, seeking the stallion. Realizing he was not in the square, Set's anger began to throb.

Tyr knew better than to count on Lian, but he was momentarily grateful for his interference. Momentarily.
Aedeminar summoned a strong wind, and sent it straight for Set, hopingto sweep him from his perch and dash him into the ground. She caught movement out of the corner of her eye--another pony. What had her name been...Autumn Skye? Ah, yes.
Skye's eyes were wide as she stopped next to Dragonrose and Brigid. "Oh yes," said Dragonrose, "I brought help." She smiled reassuringly at Skye, but her smile was nothing to the horror that the square was becoming.
Dragonrose hoped the filly could hold up.

Set deflected the brush of wind with the sweep of his head. His horn guided it toward the building on the far side of the square, causing it to tremble against its weight. A great swell of power rustled and the earth began to shake as the building was sucked from the ground. Set let it crash back down again. It shattered, splintering beneath itself as it crumbled, and likely killing anyone inside.
"Now look and see what you've done. You've broken it." His mocking tone fell down on Aedeminar. "Foolish mare, did you think I could not bend these natural elements to my will? Tell me there is more to your spirit that this, that I may dessert on it myself, rather than passing it off to my dogs."

The golden pegasus realized after a moment that she had no weapons to defend herself with. She didn't intend to rush into battle without anything to wield, or any shield to protect herself. Then a thought came to mind: The building Set had razed housed a metalworker, a blacksmith.
Without a word to anyone, Jewel spun on her heels and galloped out of the square, to circle around the destroyed building from behind. She didn't want to risk running through the open square, and placing herself at Yama and Set's hooves.
Glacing at the rubble from behind the building next to it, the wooden sign that hung in front of the shop caught her eye. Before the building was destroyed, it had been hanging off a piece of straight metal that looked like a fireplace poker. The sign was now smashed to pieces, but it left a straight piece of iron with a pointed end and a barb on it.
Deftly, Jewel ran to it, picked up the heavy piece in her mouth, and circled around to the back of the building. From here, she galloped through the back streets until she came to the rear of the building Set had perched himself atop. With powerful flapping of her wings, the pegasus rose behind him, but out of his view. She knew she couldn't be heard above the commotion below.
Stabilizing herself as best one could in the wind, Jewel spun around and threw the piece of metal javelin-style, straight for Set. Not wanting to risk being seen, she folded her wings and dove down as fast as she could back into the safety of the alley-ways.

Set heard a curious whooshing sound. He gave a short glance over his shoulder, then span around quickly as the iron rod drove its point deep into his right shoulder, just missing a more serious injury to his neck. At least, it would have been more serious, had he been mortal, or at least weaker. Enraged at the audacity of the pegasus floating on the air behind him, Set roared like a lion and leapt into the air. Lightning spat out from his hooves as he climbed effortlessly into the air.
"I accept your challenge!" he spat, fully engaged in the hunt. This is what he craved and he would not stop until he had her. He followed her down into the alley, nearly on top of her with his swift speed.

The pegasus's heart raced like a drumroll, adrenaline propelling her through Ponyville's alleyways and side-streets. Hooves occaisionally slipping and sliding across the cobblestones and smoother surfaces, she kept on ahead of Set. While she may have underestimated his ability to track her, she had still managed to injure him. Jewel could feel electricity prickling at her back, crawling its way up her neck.
"BRIGID! INTI!" Her powerful voice forcefully yelled to the group of light and shadow gods she was headed towards. She knew there was very little odds, if not complete impossibility, that she could ever beat a god, being a mortal. Those around her could, however.

Brigid nodded first to Tyr, and then half turned to her loyal mage. "Dragonrose, yes," she said verbally in acknowledgment, thankful that the flutter was in no means harmed yet. Her green eyes followed her mage's gestures to the mare beside her. She blinked a moment, recalling the young one, a compliment to any mortal.
"I have never tasted better cider," she said to the blue mare, before her face turned more serious. "Have faith in yourself, and you will do fine." she offered the other in encouragement.
The beige goddess then turned to charge forward to Yama, having a score to settle from their earlier scuffle.
"BRIGID! INTI!"
The goddess cursed the ill fate of luck, but changed her course instantly upon recognizing Jewel's shrill cry. She would not forsake her mages to Set, even if she had to put aside her personal battles. Her body leapt forward, charging through the masses to gain upon Set's tail.
Out of the corner of her eye she could see the familiar white belonging to Peri Winkle right behind her. Attack Yama, Inti, and keep your wits about you! Then, her thoughts jarred into the actos. You best hope Inti has taught you well, lad.
Peri thought or said nothing in reply, trying not to lose his concentration. Prior to meeting Inti, he hadn't really tried to peruse any magic should he posses it. It seemed unnatural for him, an actor, to really be born with any. Inti had proved him wrong, and although the training wasn't by means rigorous, Peri had learned a few tricks.
His green eye darted to the remains of what had been destroyed, where Jewel had gone forging. The remained of glass shards caught his attention, and the first thought that had sprung to mind was the sight of the glass cutting flesh. The glass leapt to the air, and by Peri's mental command, he had sent them to annoy Set.
At this time, Brigid was close enough to Set to be of knowledge to him. She made a grab for the weapon protruding from his shoulder (is it still there?) and made effort to shove it in further with a loud grunt.

(Yes, it's still there.)
The rod snapped. Set's black blood poured freely. He turned, bucking both at Brigid and the glass fragments now littering his haunch. He snaked forward, snapping at the goddess with his teeth. Low growling had overtaken his voice, but his power was still pulsating strong. He sent a pummeling shockwave outward from his body. Once. Twice. Three times it pulsed.

(Gone for one day and look how much I miss. -.- )
Yama was eyeing the new arrivals when he felt Wysteria's prescence in the square.
Wysteria! Come here. Now.
He flew up into the air to avoid any attacks.
(I have no idea whats going on.)

As Eshu stepped into the square the first thing he noted was that things did not look good at all for his side. "Curse you!" he cried. Where was Jewel? He glanced around quickly and found her not far from where he was. "Oh Jewel! You seem to be a tad confused, you're suppsoed to be fighting for my side, no matter of course, it'll just cost Peri his life...." the black stallion threw a glance toward Peri and back towards Jewel.

Jewel folded her wings around her body as Set released the shock waves from his body. This way, if she was going to be pushed away from him, she'd limit her injury. The blast did, in fact, push her a significant distance away, sending the pegasus rolling to a stop just in front of Eshu's hooves.
Quickly getting up and shaking her head clear, Jewel looked up at the god she had defied. With confidence she only pretended to have, she looked him in the eye.
"It's my choice to fight for whom I choose."

Just then, Glasye casually galloped into the Squarem having just arrived at the battle. Stepping daintily over dead and mutilated bodies, he approached Eshu.
"Hello," He greeted, "Having fun ye--Hey," He looked at the golden pegasus, anger growing on his features. "I know you."
The golden pegasus stood her ground and stared at the orange evil.
"You tried to kill me in the last battle, didn't you?" He grinned maliciously, "Too bad you didn't succeed. Want me to take care of this one, Eshu?"

"Knock youself out, that is, unless she wants to fight for teh side she actually signed up for...." Eshu grinned slyly. "Of course, if she doesn't, she can die and so can that lover of hers. It doesn't make all that much of a difference to me."

Yama was angered. He had only just begun to kill innocent ponies when his fellow gods arrived. He drew power from his mages and plummeted to the ground, ready to show the gods what he could do. As he hit the ground with his hooves, all of the ponies closest to him fell to the ground, dead.
He laughed coldly, and braced himself for any attack that would come his way.

Peri Winkle's attention shot for a split second to the god that had just entered. It had to be Eshu, of all the gods. It would've happened at some time!
His green eye darted back to Brigid and Set as the pulses sent his legs to shake. On the third he had stumbled to maintain his balance, but another quick glance proved that Brigid wasn't terribly shaken up. However, such a wave of energy had torn open the wound all ready present in her shoulder from her last confrontation with Yama.
Seeing though that Set was preoccupied with Brigid, he could focus on saving his own skin. The actor hadn't had enough mental training to be able to mentally pick up very heavy objects, but that didn't matter. AS long as he could throw something painfully. Instantly his eyes began to search out anything while trying to duck back into the crowds to avoid Eshu's threat.
The moment Set's attack subsided, Brigid lowered her head, her green eyes narrowed into tiny beads. So to, was her horn lowered, her teeth set in a feral snarl. "Back. Down. Set." It came in a deep growl. Her head swung in warning, emphasizing her natural weapon.
---
Wysteria looked up agap at Yama's flying form. She'd been so inconspicuous too! Panic took hold, her body screamed to run, but fear struck her legs stiff. "Oh....oh...!," she began to whimper.
Her eyes than noticed Delta where he had left her. Remembering what had happened during the Razz's Fire Incident, Wysteria knew the other to be a goddess as well as one sympathetic to her problem. If anything, she would be best to be near, she hoped.
Mustering all her courage, she darted with a girly yelp into the fray and towards the white pegasus.
