When Dasher realized there was nowhere to run, she turned to fight. I have to get rid of this kid before the others come here too! Perhaps Coon was already safe. And if that was the case, the others might just have given up their chase and went to catch her. Dasher knew this was only a little girly around twelve. The feeling of weakness made her sick. She reared. "This is a warning, filly. Leave me alone or I´ll knock you down!" Dasher did not want to hurt this innoncent kid. But if she had to, she had to. The situation started to be quite desperate for Star. Too scare the filly, she tilted her ears back slightly opened her mouth.

((Yah, I know Peri saved Breezie - but I figured Star was just seeing what she wanted to see...and Coon did slow the scooter down a little.)) ((Heh, yeah, btw. I had alot of catch-up and well, the most importand moment of all that thogheter for SD was probobly that Coon stole an item. I know Peri saved her, too. )

Breezie had a problem with threats - they just egged her on. So the normally happy-go-lucky young mare pinned her ears back and stepped closer to Dasher.
"Why do you want to help that thief anyway?" Then a thought struck her and she gasped. "Are you two in cahoots?"

At first Breezie looked a little worried. But when she bravely took a step closer to the purple mare, Dasher sighed inwards. Was this kid silly or a perky "ally of justice"? With her ears laid back, Dasher was worried that if someone came closer, she would´nt hear it. But she must not remove them. That would make the filly feel more confidence. Instead, the young theif made herself as big an scary as she could. She had to go down on all four, though, or she´d soon be out of balance. "Why do you want to help that thief anyway?" said Breezie, and Star thought it sounded challenging in some way. Then she gasped. "Are you two in cahoots?" At first, Dasher did not answer. She continued to glare menacely at the filly. Then, in a low, yet threatening voice, she said: "You know nothing of the underworld life." A small, evil grin was spread on her face. She moved just a little closer to the white youngster. At least this chat gave her some time to breath. She was already preparing for flight, alltrough she did not show it on the outside. "Are you moving out of my way or do I have to tell you yet again?"

Just then, a white multi-color (and freshly styled) haired mare was strolling by, her blue eyes caught by a windowbox full of blooming flowers. Her pace slowed, nose reaching toward the windowbox. Little did she notice the racoon-like pony galloping her way..

(man, that was a lot of catch up! I love the word 'cahoots', it's a fun word)
She placed her ears towards the neck, and then made an attempt to bite him.
The middle aged actor felt the sharpness and swiftness of the sudden lunge at his neck. On reflex his back legs buckled and his body swayed back in an attempt to lower himself out of the grasp and the bulk of the attack. A yelp freely left his mouth in a mix of surprise and the pain racing through his nerves. Before the chance to buck in protest, Star Dasher began to flee in the opposite direction.
Peri Winlke snorted in a challenging, ferocious manor, but halted when Breezie shot past him and towards the other. The actor's mind began to scramble in indecision. On one hoof, Jewel was hounding down a thief that had recently stolen and returned the item of his interest. This thief, as Peri recalled, survived the battle, hence proving her capability in fighting and handling his own. On the other hoof, a teenager just bit him, and an even younger teenager was chasing her down. Since Star Dasher also proved capable of violence, Peri feared for the younger's safety.
Jewel's a trained fighter, she can handle herself. That raccoon is nothing like Eshu, that's for sure. Confident in his choice, Peri Winkle bolted around and hounded down after Breezie. His chase wasn't terrible long, or difficult, as he was in the most top of shapes, and soon he'd narrowed down on the two. The actor approached, chest puffed out, eyes narrowed, nostrils flared, and hooves pounding sternly. Peri wasn't really a fighter, but as an actor he could intimidate well. To add to his facade, he mentally summoned a grip on a few neighboring pebbles and they floated beside him in a threatening manor (his skills still left over from Inti's presence).
"Back down.," he hissed in a low tenor.
---------
Coon Skin allowed herself a small chuckle, an ego boost, as she'd seen that no one had been capable of following her aside Jewel. This chuckle, and ego boost, was short lived as Coon gracefully collided and toppled into and on top of Tobe.
Coon literally paused to think about taking advantage of such a position and plant the unexpected mare with a farewell peck on the cheek. Still thinking....Why not?
The gray mare grinned maliciously and left Tobe with a quick kiss on the cheek, albeit a wet one, and was running as fast as she could now from an even closer Jewel.

Jewel almost swore she saw the collision happen before it did. Nothing she could do could have stopped it, however. The pegasus used the obstacle for Coon as a chance to dive in and get closer to the culprit.
Tobe's world spun as she whirled to the ground as a result of Coon's collision with her. The white mare dazedly lifted her head, purple glasses fallen to the tip of her nose, and looking somewhat confused. Luckily, the gold ivy-esque tiara-headband that Amber had given her was still in place. She looked at Coon with a slighlty irritated sigh and frowned.
"You disrupted my cosmic aura, man." She said flatly.
Apparently the stallion tried to apologize, for he gave her a kiss on the cheek. Come to think of it, he WAS handsome, in a rustic sort of way.
As Coon ran off, Tobe stood again and dusted herself off with a bit of a sigh, looking after the handsome stallion, And karmic balance is achieved once again...
-----
The golden pegasus swooped in low like a hawk, until the beat of her wings could be felt against the other pony's back. With a final dive, she lunged herself upon the galloping pony, clinging with her hooves and more or less dragging the theif to a stop.

As soon as Dasher had spoken her second threat out, she actually heard hoofbeats coming closer. When she saw the white stallion comming, hissing: Back down. Dasher´s ears flicked as she caught the sound and she made a jump into the air. With a frightened "eeep", she started to run again, away from everything. So fast, she was stumbling away and almost fell upon her own legs. But she was not running any further on the path - she made a turn to the right and continued to run.

Breezie turned to Peri, and then to Dasher running off into the distance. She suddenly felt very helpless, and dizzy from the headache that had steadily been getting worse.
She looked back at Peri, ears still back, but not pinned back - a look of defeat. But she was not even close to giving up. "We can't just let her get away!"
With that the young mare started off after Dasher at a full gallop, and somehow knew that she wasn't going so fast because she needed to catch the other mare. She was tired and slightly dazed, but in some almost instinctive way she felt she had to continue the chase at all costs.

Peri Winkle's tense muscles relaxed as Star Dasher continued leading on the second chase. He didn't mind so much chasing after the mare. If Star Dasher was working with the gray stallion, she hadn't proved to do anything that moment to discriminate herself aside trying to aid the other in escape. His target, or more so, Jewel's target was Coon Skin. Peri just wanted to make sure justice was dealt to Coon, and also as importantly, that Breezie not get herself hurt by Star Dasher so that he may have similar justice.
Seeing Breezie rush off after Star Dasher yet again, Peri was quick to start loping after her. It was easy to catch up to the younger mare, as she seemed all ready to the extent of he physical abilities, and he himself still had a slight tap of energy left. "We don't have to catch her, she hasn't done anything outrageous today, like stealing a necklace...or a scooter."
------
Coon, although realizing how more dangerously near getting caught she was growing, grinned like a victorious, male idiot. She hadn't had a chance to give anything a good kiss (on cheek or otherwise) in ages. Rainbow, d*mn it, it had felt good and was worth it.
The thief gripped strongly on those thoughts as Jewel took her down in a split second with her grip. The gray, masculine mare tumbled, skidded, but eventually came to a stop. She lifted her head a moment, mouth panting from the long run she'd endured. Her golden eyes met the golden coat of one ill-tempered peg. Coon's mouth drew up in that masculine village idiot grin. "Well, if I would've known you were dropping in I would've made a lunch."
Even faced with criminal charges, Coon could not help but act like this. It was always the pretty ones that got you in deep.

The fiery-eyed yet cool pegasus dominantly pushed the masculine mare to the ground, standing on her back with her two golden front feet, thus holding her against the ground.
"Don't worry.. I'm sure Pest Control will be here shortly," Jewel said drily, pressing more weight on the mare's back for emphasis.
-----
Now only a few blocks away, the heavy blue stallion wheezed on, stepping tiredly along to the Gilligan's Island theme song playing in his head. He could see the light reflecting off the golden peg's wings in the distance. Almost.. there..

"Touché," Coon said, keeping a dignant face about her, but more so, trying to regain any lost breath. If she was lucky enough, she'd regain enough of a second wind to push Jewel off and be off again.
In the mean time... "So, uh, still seeing Mr. Precious Gem Butt?"

"So, uh, still seeing Mr. Precious Gem Butt?"
"You'll keep your paws off that gem if you know what's good for you," The pegasus muttered under her breath, ears pinned back. She kept herself aware of the slightest twitches of the mare's body, ready at an instant to tackle her back to the ground.
Soon enough, the hefty police pony shuffled upon the scene. "Don't worry, police he--" He raised a hoof as if to say 'wait a minute' as he took a few deep breaths. Jewel rolled her eyes and pinned her ears against her head, staring blankly.
"Police here." He finished, puffing his chest out (though it could never compare to the natural puffiness of his gut). He looked at a loss for words. "What seems to be the problem?"
Jewel wrinkled her nose, an indescribable expression on her face. "Moe?"
"...Yes, Citizen?"
"Shackle her feet and take her to the station. Write her up for theft and..." She sneered, remembering the dumpster the mare had climbed over, "...littering."
As Moe shrugged and proceeded to shackle the bigger mare's ankles in chain-connected cuffs, Jewel reared and let out a rather piercing whinny, in a rather primal fashion, and in an attempt to call Peri back to her.

"We don't have to catch her, she hasn't done anything outrageous today, like stealing a necklace...or a scooter."
Breezie was not one to blush, but she frowned slightly as Peri made the scooter remark. "...I'll explain about that later." As if you have a good explanation. She paused and then continued, "But it's the principle of the thing! I'll be fine - you can go and help your girlfriend."

Coon whinced in the manor Jewel replied to her earlier inquiry. "Er, okay...I guess that means you aren't available either," Coon grinned widely...but that shortly fell at the responce, or lack there of and Jewel's expression.
The thief calmly waited, then. There wasn't much of a point in pressing the issue so much at that point. It was more beneficial to wait for a good chance at escape...
That was until Coon laid golden eyes upon Moe's approaching form. More or less, Coon dumbly stared in shock and half disgust. "You can't be serious?," she scooffed back at Jewel, "AT LEAST find a pig worth at least some common sense. This..." Coon glanced back at Moe. "This is just degrading."
Note, she did not throw so much as a fit about being arrested for theft, mind you. Coon accepted that she'd stollen something, where was the fun in denying it? If she were to be arrested, then she at least wanted to have the same form of dignity her father held when he was arrested. Coon only regretted she wasn't caught by a craftier cop, or for a bigger heist.
"Shackle her feet and take her to the station. Write her up for theft and..." She sneered, remembering the dumpster the mare had climbed over, "...littering."
Coon's ears flicked back and she displayed a rare, bitter grimace. Littering? Of all the things! She lived in a tent, why the hell would she litter if she had to live in the trash? However, she with held any verbal fits of rage. Half witted cop or no, she was still in the presence of someone who could hold her words against her in the court of law. She'd be d**ned to add more to the pot.
However, she would not let it detter her too much. AS she was pulled to her feet, Coon hesitated in being moved immediately to look Jewel with the same flirtatious face she gave most mares. "I don't suppose I could have your number...you know, one phone call and all?"
