[[cont. from Bloomin' Blossoms]]
Crystal Crown galloped into the little cobblestone area just outside the town where the old well was located. Her eyes were wild and she skidded to a halt only when she was right at the edge of the well, sending small pebbles flying to all directions as her hooves screeched on the stones. The old well stood where it had always stood, not bothered by pony or wild creature, only eroded by the hands of time and abandoned by all but Crystal Crown. She had spent hours and hours in planting flowers at its edges and making the vine grow all round the well and it's handle. Crown believed that the well's water should not be touched, and would not allow anyone take water from there. The truth was, of course, that the well was empty of all but the smallest of puddles of water, and though Crown always saw the most wonderful fairytale wishing well whenever she looked at the well, the truth was that there was nothing at all special about it.
After managing to stop before tripping over the well's edge and falling head first into the shaft, Crown looked about. Surrounding the well there were only trees and the few houses that stood at the very edge of the town. She couldn't see anyone there. She was breathing hard. Had the fairy managed to warn her in time after all?

[[oh yeah - she isn't here anymore - I chose to move her for lack of inspiration and time to finish this small but unimportant scene. ]]
