Moony made her visit to the shop quick; she collected all the foodstuffs she needed, payed the right amount to the shop register pony and waved a friendly goodbye as she left the store. There was nothing else to it, though it seemed too hasty for Moon Crystal's liking.
The pearly white unicorn paused outside to get a better grip on the bags as she puzzled out on where to go next. She could head back home and fill out the pantry and such with food, but she felt like stopping somewhere. Moony stood there for sometime, holding her bags, thinking...

Hollow had finally admitted to himself that he was hungry. He was walking along the street, towards the grocery store - hoping he still recalled correctly where it was and that it hadn't moved while he was away. He had some difficulty finding it, in any case, so his attention was nearly fully on the houses on the side of the pavement. His thoughts were gloomy and he forgot to look around, when suddenly - too late - he noticed a pearly white mare standing with grocery bags in her hooves right in front of him.
Hollow tried stopping, didn't manage it in time, and bumped into her, sending one of her bags flying down towards the ground. He extended a hoof quickly, managed to catch it, and then concentrated for a moment in gaining back his balance. Only then he looked at the mare, his ears laid back a little with embarrassment.
"Er... I'm sorry," he said. "Did you get hurt?"

I wonder what Fewa is like... I hope it isn't like one of those places that once you go there, you can never go back to where you came from... that would be trapped for the ages... then again... Silver Shadow went there and he came back... but he went back again... or something... I hope Wysteria's right... I wonder what they have to eat there...
Somehow, Moony's consideration on where to go next had made its way to Wysteria and Fewa. She didn't know how or why this is so, but she didn't notice it. The unicorn's thoughts where far away from her that she didn't realise that she'd been walked into.
Moony let out a soft gasp of surprise; the unicorn was close to being knocked over. Luckily she regained footing quickly, stumbling to the side only a little. Yet one of the bags was knocked out of her hooves from the collision. Lucky for the bag, it was saved by the stallion from being spoilt.
"Thankyou for saving the bag." Moony said smiling in relief, but her face went to a light shade of red when she realised who it was that saved the bag. She blinked, confused and embarrassed: Where did this stallion come from anyway?... Oh!! He asked a question! Answer Moony! Answer it! But what to say?
"N-n-no. No, I'm fine, t-thankyou." She said, trying desperately to keep a hold of her stutter and smiling shyly. "Are you good? I, er, mean alright?" Great...

Hollow flashed the mare a quick smile, still holding the bag, feeling himself a little stupid. He hardly noticed her stutter; his concentration was suddenly too much on her appearance. He saw she was a unicorn, and a beautiful one at that. He had always had a bit of a weakness for unicorns, he couldn't tell why - and she...
Angrily, he threw the thought from his head. What the hell was he doing? What the d**ned was he doing? Torturing himself with things he shouldn't think about, that's what.
"Yeah, I'm fine," he said a bit gruffly, just about to offer the bag back when he realised it would not be polite nor would it be appropriate. He was the one to have stumbled into her, he should make up for it. He forced up a smile. "I'm really sorry. I was just looking for the grocery store. I haven't been here in a long while. Er... could I help you to carry your things, for compensation?"
Now, where the hell had that last thought come from? He kicked at himself for saying it, but it was out there, and couldn't be taken back. Maybe he was just too d**n hungry to think straight.
And just then his stomach let out a very, very demanding sort of a sound that could be heard very, very clearly and that meant "I want food". He blushed all the way to his ears.

At the sound of the loud rumbling tummy, Moony's face went stupidly blank. There was a pause for sometime, until the unicorn said the first thing that came to mind.
"Your stomach is talking...." It only just occured to her after saying that that it was obvious and did not need to be stated, and that it sounded stupid too. After another pause of looking at the other, the white unicorn smiled thinking back to his question, hoping to successfully break the ice.
"I-It is alright." She said shyly, waving a hoof. "Half the fault is mine; I shouldn't of been standing around and thinking to myself, so I was almost asking to be walked into."
The unicorn cocked her head to the side, allowing a shy smile to creep up onto her face. "Here, you can help me with the bags and I can treat you with something from the cafe instead, just to keep your stomach, umm, content..."
"I was thinking of going to the cafe anyway ((liar XD)), and, well, I wouldn't mind some, er , company. If that is alirght by you of course." She added the last part hurriedly, blushing at herself. She hadn't a clue where she got that kind of courage, to ask a cute stallion like him, to go cafe but she guessed that maybe it was time she started making some new friends...
"Is that alright by you?"
((I tried XD))

Hollow felt himself trapped like a mouse. He couldn't say no - and the mare's shy smile made her look so pretty. Again he shook the thought of prettiness off and concentrated on nodding.
"Eh, sure," he said, shifting his hooves back and forth a bit. "I... er... think it's ok... with me."
He couldn't think of a better thing to say. He was hungry, and she was charming in her way, and it was the polite thing to do, after all.

The unicorn blushed and smiled shyly at the stallion; she didn't want to be acting the way she did, but there was no helping it. He was too cute and shy...
"Great then. You keep a hold on that bag you've got there, and, well, I think I can manage with the ones I have at the moment." She said. "I really don't want to over burden you or anything... honestly. Umm, well we better make our way to the cafe, but before we do-" the pearly white unicorn dipped her head with a smile. "My name is Moon Crystal, but you can just call me Moony for short. What is your name?"

Hollow dipped his head as well, but couldn't force up a smile. He still felt trapped.
"Hrm... Hollow Heart. But just call me Hollow," Hollow answered, then realised what the mare had said. "No, it's not a burden," he said, a bit huffed at the thought that the mare might think him too weak to carry a few bags. "Give me another one, I'm not really that hungry."

"Not really that hungry?" The mare tilted her head to the side with a frown. "I think that sound your tummy made earlier indicates otherwise."
Wiping off the frown, Moony smiled at the stallion; this time not a shy smile, but a warm friendly smile, once she'd give to a friend willingly. She didn't know why, but she hoped that it might help the situation. The unicorn had an odd feeling that she was making the other nervous or something...
"It is not a problem Hollow," She said, trying to sound reassuring. "And I am very capable of carrying these bags... but, well, if you insist..." She reluctantly held out another bag for him to take.

Hollow was satisfied that the mare gave him another bag, and smiled to her. Then he balanced the bags in his hooves and nodded.
"Lead the way, then," he said, feeling more assured of himself now. He decided the mare had just attempted to be kind to him, not doubt his strength. He managed an actual genuine smile. "The dinner sounds great, though," he said, in a gesture of friendliness. "I haven't eaten in a long time."

Moony smiled, and she was pleased that he smiled also; to Moony, it was a sign that he accepted her company in a friendly manner.
"I can tell you haven't eaten recently. Just follow me, and we'll be at the cafe in no time."
