(OOC: I have NO idea why Razz is calling Roxy Roz! My snafu? Or his? Time will tell. LOL! Seriously, where is my editor when I need her?) Razz stood in the doorway of ROXY's theater, watching the ordeal with intense interest. He slipped into the shadows as the two strange ponies exited and watched them trot off, each in opposite directions. He hesitated, then followed the green mare. (Cont. The Neighborhood)

[ooc: I don't know why I thought they were in the theatre! Perhaps when the lights crashed, some sort of electric short was created (no, I dont know how) and the lights in the lobby got a surge and all exploded, raining glass everywhere? I'd like to have the havoc wreaked upon the ponies, but if that just plain doesn't make sense, then I guess destruction in the theatre may have to do ]

[OOC: *rubs hands together* Ok, I'll see what I can do... I don't think realistically much could happen to the ponies in the lobby, but other forms of havoc can be wrought. ; )]
Roxy's ears came foward as Glayse blanked through the doors into the theater. She got up quietly with a frown on her face and followed the orange pony.
But when she entered next to the stage, she found the grand room empty. She narrowed her eyes suspiciously and squinted around at the seats. "Hey, Mr. Orange, where did you go? I'd rather not have you in here without a good reason." Calling after him, she stepped up onto the stage to check the dressing rooms.
Suddenly she heard the creak of a board above her. Her chest leaped with a sudden surge of fright and adrenaline, for she had looked up, and above her was a firey flash in the shadows. The next moment came all too swiftly.
"HEY! What're you doing up there?!" And there came a swishing sound, and a great clatter of plastic and metal and wood - and DOWN came the heavy black tracks from their hangings above the stage, burdened with a hundred lights in all the colors of the rainbow, down with a deafening crash... pipe and board and bulb thundered and splintered and rained bright sparks around the lone sandy figure upon the stage, and every muscle in Roxanne's body tensed and she screamed:
"SHIIIIIIIIIIIT!!"
And the wiring tore from the walls, and every light in the theater went out.

Jewel had started home with the intention of resting for a few hours, but she soon came to find that sleep would have to wait a while.
Hearing something explode, Jewel froze in her tracks, then swiftly turned around. Her eyes widened in horror as she saw smoke streaming from the buildings in town. I should have told them..
After a quick flight, tan-gold hooves touched the ground, and wings folded back as Jewel hurried into the theater. Finding the nearest pony, she asked for a recollection of what had happened. Then, trying her best to get as many ponies' attention without scaring them further, Jewel swallowed as she explained with sincerity, "This is bigger than we think it is--please be careful!"

(OOC: ACK! I go to bed and look at all these posts!!! You guys were busy!)
Rose took Roxy's glass of water and drank it slowly, thankful to have something to wash the weed's bitter taste from her mouth. She then set her glass down, snuggling into the stage prop pillow. This feels so nice! She suddenly wished she would've slept in her own bed last night instead of her couch. Her breathing was finally becoming more full and deep, less of her labored gasps. Her vision was also returning, Rose could make out shapes and colors of the others. Quite suddenly and unexpected, large noises and crashes followed, blinding lights and sparks from the stage in the other room, and as it happened, Rose could hear Roxy's cry. The red unicorn bolted her head up from the pillow, her head turned to the direction of the stage doors, her ears positioned forward towards the area. "Roxy!," she yelped out, almost completely forgetting what had just happened to herself. Rose began to try and get herself up to find the other mare, but found herself still quite tired and weak, and unable to check her friend. "What happened, I can't tell, is she all right?!"

The whole interior of the grand theater was plunged into an intense and deep blackness.
Onstage, Roxanne crouched among the electrical debris, her breath coming in short gasps. Hooves over head, she was unwilling to move, knowing full well the danger of what lay around her even without the advent of sight. Just a slight shifting of one hoof told her that the stage was littered with a fine sprinkling of shattered glass, and the light tracking had broken jagged with sharp points of plastic and splintered wood. Already her skin held a myriad of shallow slices, and beads of blood mixed with the dust on her coat and stung.
Roxy began to shiver uncontrollably from the adrenaline let-down. The glass around her tinkled lightly in the darkness.

"Where is she?" Jewel asked the dazed red unicorn. Not wanting to waste time, she followed her gaze to the main theatre.
"Well if someone's in there and hurt we need to help them!" Jewel tried to rouse the other ponies into a sense of awareness after the shock of the catastrophe. Her eyes pulled at the others as she headed toward the theatre.

Roxanne's throat tightened and she began to emit a high-pitched whimper. Her stage, her lights, her theater...

"Willow!" Ice said loudly. He could see her silouette from the light coming in through the front entrance.
"Are you ok?" he asked, just to make sure.
He could hear Roxy whimpering in the darkened theater.
"Wait, Jewel, I'll go. You stay here with Willow and this young lady." he said, indicating Rose.
Ice had spent many a dark night in the mountains where he lived. The darkness was nothing for him. He made his way carefully down the center aisle and felt his way along the stage until he found the stairs at the end.
"I'm coming." he said loudly, hoping to reassure the pony that lay on the stage. His eyes were beginning to adjust and he could barely make out the stagelights strewn about the stage like jagged rocks. Carefully, he tiptoed his way through the broken glass and twisted metal.
Finally he reached Roxy. Gently, he hoisted her onto his back and started back to the other end of the stage where the stairs were. A few cuts and a couple gashes later, he reached the stairs and made his way down. He laid Roxy on the thaeter floor and slumped to the ground himself.
He could feel the warmth trickling down both his front and rear leg. He had received two nasty gashes in his rescue attempt, but, at least he had gotten Roxy out of immediate danger.
"You ok?" he asked, nudging her gently.

Willow stayed behind like Ice asked but was apprehensive about letting him go alone. When Ice returned with roxy Willow rushed to there aid. She saw that both had nasty gashes and were very dusty.perfect breeding grounds for nasty infections She flung her messenger bag off her shoulders and pulled out a bottle of disinfectant (she had recieved from Dash for her piercing) and she also pulled out a roll of gauze. She knew she might have looked odd now carring a roll of gauze and disinfectant, but she always carried them with her.. She was parinoid about injuries ever since the bushwoolie plauge. She Handed jewel the roll of gauze. "Could you help me bandage them jewel?" Willow said as she started to gently pour the disinfectant on Roxy's cuts. "Sorry hun. this may sting... but its better than developing gange green and needing your leg hacked off. " Willow wished she had a bottle of her own homemade disinfectant with her, it didnt sting at all. but willow had to make do.

Roxy strained her eyes against the darkness as Ice Crystal carried her, and her shivering grew from fearful to angry. By the time they made it to the lobby and he set her down, she was positively shaking with fury.
"Yeah yeah yeah, I'm fine, I'm fine... sonofa... sonofab!tch..." She crouched on the floor, grunting slightly at the stinging of her cuts but barely noticing that Willow was the one treating them. Tears began to stream down her face from the shock and she gritted her teeth in a snarl.
"Who was he? The b@stard -" She swore to release her emotions - "What happened? That orange pony... I swear to God if it was him... swear to God..."

Ice stood slowly, wincing as the cut on his back leg gaped open from his movement.
"The main thing is that everybody's ok," he said.
He looked back at his leg. He couldn't see it very well. "Willow...Do you think that needs stitches?"

Jewel gave Ice a.. well.. icy glare as he insisted she stay behind. What did he think she was? A school filly? Alas, the less ponies hurt, the better. She decided to prove her point with a stamp and a snort.
Gritting her teeth to supress the gag reflex of the blood and wounds, Jewel helped Willow fix up Ice and Roxy. She turned a little pale when Ice asked them to look at his leg. Taking a deep breath, she shook herself from the nasea that wanted to take over her actions at that moment.
Jewel sympathized with Roxanne's devastation. Being a patron and participant in the arts, it boiled her blood to think that someone would so hastily destroy such a beautiful thing.
"Orange pony.. the all orange one?" Jewel asked, trying to remember where she had seen him. "Did you see anyone else around at the time, who wasn't there afterwards?"
Another thought came to Jewel, It hasn't been long, and he couldn't have gotten far.. "Where's the last place anyone saw him go?" She stood up strongly, with an almost unreadable expression, doing her best to assure herself she'd be ready for anything.

Roxanne staggered upright, chest heaving, disregarding the bandages on her cuts.
"Ok? OK!?? F*cking A!" Roxy swore some more. Usually she was creatively tame with her exclamations, but when emotional she could be downright profane.
"Yeah, I'm ALIVE, but do you want to go in there and look at my stage and tell me to my face that it's OK?!? Oh, gee, yeah, that's right, you won't be ABLE to look at it because all of my LIGHTS are destroyed!!" She was virtually yelling now, and turned to Jewel.
"Orange, yes, orange! Rose was sick, and this orange pony was there, and... and who are you?" -to Ice Crystal - "and another pony I didn't know, green, and she left, but the orange one went into my THEATER... and I went in to look for him... and... on the catwalk... and... WHERE IS HE? Where is he? I'll flay him alive!!"
