Sunlight streamed in and the noise of a bustling Saturday morning in Ponyville drifted into the Center Stage lobby.
Roxanne leaned on the door, took a deep breath of fresh air, and smiled to herself. This was really living...
She shook the daydream butterflies out of her head and trotted into the box office. There she grabbed a CD player and a stack of musical soundtracks and brought them into the lobby. She chose her favorite, Chicago, for starters. As "All That Jazz" blasted through the room, she headed through a side door into storage to get cleaning supplies and to assess what needed to be done...

(OOC: Guess what? I ate poisoned tarts! Yum!)
Rose Rebellion approached the door to the theater. She'd taken her time to stroll and look around, just to make sure she wasn't going to get lost, as she came. Her stomach did a small 'flip flop' and she snorted irritated at the slight discomfort. Maybe I shouldn't have chugged that milk. She shrugged it off, the feeling would go away eventually, and a slight upset stomach was nothing to work up about. She tested the doors and surprisingly they were open, more than likely to accept any volunteers. She walked in only to be greeted by the blaring jazz music. Rose grinned, the theater diffinately had Roxy's personal touch to it. "Hello! Roxy you here? I'm here to help!," she called out over the music. An ache in her stomach followed, and Rose frowned. I hope I'm not coming down with something... It'd be a pain to use my first day of work as a sick day tomorrow. I'll have to ask Roxy for some stomach medicine when I see her. "Hey Roxy, um, if you're here, do you got any stomach medicine! I feel kind of crappy!," she shouted out again, the ache only seeming to get worse.

(Cont. from the Neighborhood.)
Having seen the strange red pony enter the theater, Razz trotted up, following after her.
"Hello, excuse me," he was yelling over the loud music, "I was wondering if you could help me. I'm looking for a silver unicorn..."

Rose turned to the other pony. She instantly recognized him from the store the prior day from the fire incident. "Oh hello, I recognize you.," she said," Silver unicorn?" She pondered a moment, trying to ignor her acheing stomach. "I haven't seen any," she said, her voice seeming a little distressed. She was begginng to feel hot all over, and she could swear her breath was began to shorten. "Maybe your unicorn will show up for the clean up, if you want to stick around?," she said, taking in a small shallow breath afterwards. Her stomach began to hurt more than just ache, and she began to feel light headed and dizzy whilst burning up. What's wrong with me? Something's wrong...! She held a hoof to her stomach and sat down, hoping it would help some, but unfortunately it wasn't.

"Oh, dear," Razz reached out to her. "Are you OK? You don't look so good. Is Roz here?" Looking around the theater, he began to call out. "Roz? Hello? Anyone here?"
He looked down at the red pony as she gasped for breath. "I'm Razz, by the way. Terrible running into each other the way we do, really." Watching the red pony clutch her stomach, he began to grow even more nervous. "I-I wish Silverfall were here. She'd know what to do. Can I help you stand? I don't think you should be on the ground just now. We should move you to a more comfortable spot."

She groaned and looked at the other. "I think Roxy's...here...," she huffed out, breaking into a cold sweat. This is bad...this is bad...! The pains in her stomach were slowly growing to the rest of her body. And Rose was almost ready to panic if not for the other beside her. She tried her hardest to stay cool and collected. She stiffled a smile," It is kinda funny how we run into each other." Her smiled faded as a terrible pain shot up her chest, and she closed her eyes and clenched her jaw. It was at this point Rose knew she couldn't have been just sick. It was something more, although she had no clue what. "Yes, I think I'll need the help to get up.," she told the other, shifting her body to try and stand back on her legs.

Nearing the theater Roux smiled. His ears had picked up on the music before entering.
Stepping inside his ears flicked back and forth ever so slightly. The earrings clinked as he moved farther inside.
"Hello? Roxy you here?" Roux called his Irish accent heavy.
Glancing about his eyes came to rest upon the two in the room.
"Is Roxy about?" Roux questioned curious.
Moving closer he looked about, taking in everything at once. His brown eyes came to a rest upon the others in the room, instantly he noticed the strange look upon the unicorn's face.
"Where's it hurt?" Roux asked resting a forehoof on her forehead concerned.

The forehoof was placed on her forhead and it felt cool to the touch. "It...it started in my stomach...but...," she whimpered out, her eyes starting to water," but...it hurts all over...now." She made a feeble attepmt to get up on her own, but the energy she had originally had moments before had been drained. Her muscles would just not work, leaving her very much helpless. Rose's chest heaved, she had been gasping in labored breathes, but no matter how much, or little, oxygen she took in, it didn't help. She only seemed to get weaker and more light headed with each throb of pain and gasp of air. The unicorn's vision began to blur, and she struggled to keep herself focused. "I....need help...," she wheezed out between a gasp of air.

As Roux removed his hoof from her forehead he thought, Far too warm. Even in this weather.
Silently he cursed himself, of course she was burning up, a blind fruit bat could have told anyone that.
"When did the pain in your stomach begin?" Roux asked, gently pressing a hoof on her tender stomach.
"Have you done or eaten anything out of the ordinary recently?"
It's moving to quickly. Whatever it is.
Scanning the room, he wished Roxy would come in. He hadn't been here long enough yet to learn any of the common sicknesses.

Nervously, Razz bit his lower lip as he shifted from hoof to hoof, making nervous little side-steps beside the red unicorn.
"Oh, what do we do? What do we do?" he asked. "Boil some water... no, no... think, Razzaroo, think! This is no time for cabbage soup!" He scrunched up his nose, thinking hard. "I think we have to keep her walking. Or cool her down. I'm not sure which. Ooo...I'm no good at this doctor business! Maybe we should help her to the fountain in town square, she can rest in the water and one of us can go get help. Oh, dear... I'll go look for Roz." And he trotted away into the theater.

The...the pain....! "I...it started...just now...!," she forced out as the other placed a gentle hoof on her stomach. It was meant as a soothing gesture, but the touch spoke multitudes of pain, and she groaned in responce. "I had...milk with...Cotton Candy's...tarts....," she answered, although she didn't consider that in the slightest bit out of the ordinary. Hearing Razzaroo's more paniced out bursts only seemed to make her more nervous. But, some of the ideas he threw out weren't half bad, and Rose right now was willing to try anything to get her agony to stop. "I...think I need...to get....walking....," she said in responce to his suggestions as he went off searching for the theater pony. She looked at the other whom she'd never met until now, "You'll....have to help...me up..." She groaned, very near wailed, as she started to work herself to standin, and waiting for the other's assistance.

Glasye stood in the shadows of the theatre and watched the scene unraveling before him. That's the red pony.. Dark Rainbow, she looks like she's about to die! This can't happen.. we need her! Glasye quickly trotted over to the ailing pony, not bothering with introductions.
"Quickly.. describe the pain to me," He said with urgency.

And yet another stallion entered to aide Rose. She would've gotten angry if the thought had placed in her mind that he'd been watching this entire time without helping until now. But other matters kept her from thinking the obvious, and she at the moment was far from angry. She glanced to the day-break orange pony, and whispered out what she felt. "It's a throbbing pain.... followed by shooting pain... like a knife... is cutting through my whole body...!"

Glasye thought quickly. It sounded like Hoof Weed poisioning. But what was the antidote?? Glasye frowned and tapped a back hoof anxiously. He knew a variety of poisions, but wasn't so up-to-date on medicines that reversed them--he had never needed those before. But now the future success of the Dark Rainbow was at stake! He had to think...
"Hoof Weed makes you weaker.." He muttered to himself, trying to remember the saying, "...Witch Weed makes you stronger."
"Witch Weed." He looked at the others around him, "That'll reverse it." Noting that no one moved, he stamped a hoof, "Go!! This poision is deadly!"

"Witch Weed?" Razz caught the tail-end of Glayse's conversation as he trotted back into the lobby. "I don't know anything about that. Silverfall might know. I didn't find Roz, but I'll go see if I can find someone who can help."
And he trotted out the door.
