A half finished sand castle lay in front of the pearly red earthling. The sun danced across her coat, making it look like a million tiny jewels decorated her coat. Head bobbing up and down she scrutinized her work, as she looked over the castle. Placing a leaf on a small twig she set it on the very top of the castle. Gigging she stood brushing the sand from her coat.
Trotting a few feet away she opened a picnic basket and took out a large checkered cloth. As she snapped it open the wind sought to make it a game for her, tugging at the corners and billowing it out like a sail at sea. Amused she half watched unbothered, as the wind tried to steal the blanket from her. With a devilish glee in her eyes she leapt forward, landing on the checkered cloth. Rolling half way around she grinned up at the sky.
"You'll have to do better than that!" Applejack shouted her challenge to the wind as she lay sprawled across the blanket.

Not having realized it, the pearly red mare had fallen asleep. The cool wind caressed her skin, as the sun beat down. Yellow/green eyes opened a couple of hours later, surprised that she had fallen asleep. A yawn escaped, as she slowly sat up. Glancing around she noted that her castle was still standing. She beamed in delight as she eyed the sandy building.
Standing she picked the blanket up and folded it. Placing it inside the basket, she turned and headed back to town. Wondering what everyone else was up to.
