Silverfall raced Bandit between the forest trees, laughing and kicking up her heels. It felt good to be running. Her confrontation with the Dark Mystic had left her troubled and though Fewa's balance still threatened to unravel, she had made her escape back to Ponyville. It did not sit well with her to leave Silver Shadow behind, but the return of her stolen memories had reshaped her world so entirely that she wasn't even sure if they were on the same side anymore. Since she could no better ignore the situation than face it, running was as apt a solution as any other.
Coming out of the woods, she raced along the bank of the river, splashing occassionally into the water and back up onto the bank. Bandit was beside her, matching her pace easily through the gift of his herder's blood. When finally they were spent, they came to a halt and drank deeply of the cool, clean water.
It was then that Silverfall felt a strangeness in the earth. Ears alert, she scanned the area. It was an odd mixture, she realized, as if the world's elements had been mixed into a box of candied gumdrops. Except there were too many flavors here... more than the box would hold. She traced the delicate tendrils, seeking out the one that called most intimately to her.
Lured by it, she headed back into town...
