DaisyJo sits by the Rainbow River, looking down into the rippling water, smiling to herself. Her golden hair whips around her in a breeze, the sparkles catching the light in a dazzling display. She sighs softly, and sticks a hoof into the water, testing how cold it is, thinking she might go for a swim, though it is always more fun if there are friends around... She sighs again. All her friends were back home, in the country, and she had been too shy to make any new ones here. So she decides to just watch the small minnows flitting through the ripples, getting lost in the trance caused by the sparkling silver scales combined with the warm heat of the sun.

On the opposite bank of the Rainbow River, a light yellow mare came rolling joyfully into the shallows, crimson red mane clinging in wet clumps to her slender neck. She was not like other ponies, smaller, thinner, fragile-looking. Despite the differences, she was still a beauty, baby blue eyes shimmering with light-hearted delight.
Flora stopped in mid-step, noticing the purple mare sitting alone on the shore. "Oh, hello," she called to the other. "Miname's Flora, pleased to meet you." She did a playful curtsy.

She looks up as she hears the splashing across the river, and giggles softly, watching the playfull mare make such a racket.
"hello, i'm DaisyJo." she stands and makes a small curtsey, her mane tangled slightly from the breeze, and several leaves sticking amongst the hairs of both mane and tail. she pauses, not knowing really what to say, and finding herself shy all of a sudden.

Floral grinned. "Well," she said, "It's very nice to meet you Daisyjo. Did I mention my name's Floral? Oh, yeah, right, I did." Floral giggled softly at not remembering whether or not she mentioned her own name. Her tail hung wet and limp, still dragging in the water. She did a little prance around in a circle, sending shimmering little river water droplets soaring in the air.
