Seeing the orange whisp hovering overhead, Set said, "You stay here and watch the house. Call me, if needed." With his final words, the storm god infused himself with crackling energy. Tiny forks of red lightning crawled over his body.
He strode off toward town.

"Alright, Stormy," Glasye replied in a cocky tone, drifting a short distance away, into the forest.
Under the cover of the dark shadows, the essence of the evil orange stripe of the dark rainbow glowed softly. Woodland creatures of all sizes fled from the floating wisp, and overhead, thick gray clouds moved to block out the moonlight. Glasye called into the night:
"Brothers, Sisters.. we have another chance!" He started, waiting impatiently for the other stripes to materialize. Before he knew it, there they were: yellow, red, green, blue. All but the indigo. "We can make a comeback, stronger than ever! I've been given an offer from the storm god, Setekh. If I do what this guy says, I get my mortality back!"
"So? That means we're even more split up over the line of life and death than before. That doesn't help." One of the stripes replied bitterly.
"Did I ask your opinion? NO." If he could have grinned, he would have. Glasye held the power in his hooves now, and was relishing in it. Of course, he alone was nothing compared to the power he shared with his sibilings. "Once I'm corporeal again, I can go get our unconscious Indigo sister," He explained, "And kill her."
"We still won't be united." Another stripe argued.
"Will you listen!?" Glasye snarled. "After I kill her, I'll get rid of whatever hasbro-forsaken corpse I've been attached to, and we will be united. And be in power again! How does that sit with you?"
After brief deliberation and speculation, the other evil stripes of the Rainbow of Darkness agreed that Glasye's plan might work. After all, the worst that could happen was that they'd be stuck as they are until another plan was hatched.
...Or was it?
