The small baby pony blinked with a frown. She then felt tears well up in her big blue eyes. Baby Sea Spray started crying.
Mainsail hugged her baby. "There, there, sweetie. It's alright." She said softly to calm the little one down. She then looked up at the stalion. "Please don't talk to my child that way!" She said firmly.
She then saw Rose, and listened to what she had to say. "Ok." She said. Baby Sea Spray looked up and wiped the tears from her eyes. She wondered if Baby Tsuwari would grow up to be like his father. She hoped he wouldn't.
The two ponies left the house. After they were in the distant where the stallion and the mare couldn't see or hear them anymore, Baby Sea Spray started to talk, "Mommy, I don't like that mean old stallion! He scared me!" Mainsail nuzzled her daughter. "Aww, you poor thing. Don't worry, mommy's here." She said calmly. Baby Sea Spray nuzzled her mother. "Thanks, mommy."

"Please don't talk to my child that way!"
The orange stallion looked down at the green mare, raising an eyebrow. He then scoffed quitely and rolled his large sunset eyes, holding his head in such a way so that Rose couldn't see his expression.
Once the pair had left, Glasye sighed audibly and headed inside the house after Rose. How these normal ponies put up with themselves, the orange stripe would never know.
Seeing the mother with foal triggered a thought in his mind, however. He and Rose had been getting busy, and it wasn't in his radar that Rose wanted a second foal. He was curious about this, but hesitated to begin a discussion. It must be on her mind by now.. he'd wait a little longer to see if she approached him.
Meanwhile, the wheels in Glasye's mind began to turn...

Rose's purple eyes followed Glayse's movements as he retreated back into their dwelling. She tried to not give him an improving smile as to how he handled the situation, despite how funny it was to her. Rose was still somewhat of a teenager, despite being 20 and a mother, and she still had trouble trying to hide immature actions from her child. Sure she wanted Tsuwari to grow with a sense of humor, but she wanted to make sure that he had a humor and a sense of what was polite.
The taf unicorn turned her attention towards the river as a gentle breeze teased her white mane. Her eyes wandered, looking at the prism like colors the surface reflected. Instantly her mind conjured the time both they had paused by the river, the initial day they'd met. He'd weaseled his way into her heart that day, tricking her.....was he doing it now?
A moment in silent reflection. Does it matter? Something good came from loving Glayse, from genuinely caring for a being born evil. It may make me a fool, but being capable of loving something like Glayse must account for something. Perhaps, more good can come from my relationship with him.
Her eyes lingered a moment more before moving to spot the figure of someone that Rose Rebellion had not fathomed to see.
Docking his boat just a little ways down the river. Roux. The Red Champion. Glayse's viscous murdered.
Instantly all Rose's muscles grew taught and her mouth opened and caught up in the sound of a gasp. She stood, frozen, mortified as she remembered the inhumane killing she'd been incapable of stopping. For a split second, Rose relived that horrible moment when her heart had been ripped unmercilly from her chest...and Rose certainly felt her heart ache all over again.
Conflicting emotions began to bubble up insider her. Anger. Hate. Fear. Sadness. The red unicorn trembled, unable to move from her spot. The horrible truth rang clear in her ears...it was not safe to be living near the river while Roux was about.

The orange stallion, sensing Rose not following, turned and walked up behind her, following her gaze. His sunset eyes scanned the river, settling on Roux's boat.
"Well.. whatta ya know.." He commented with an underlying malicious tone. "Red's back." His mind starting drifting to thoughts of merciless murder and revenge, but he was distracted by a bright purple flash at another point along the river's edge. Squinting his eyes, he noticed first the sun reflecting off of the gold pegasus's coat. It didn't take him long to recognize Jewel.
"Looks like Goldie's a Champ now too," He said barely audibly, beginning to frown. And a more fair opponent.. Glasye fought off the mental fantasy of sending the pegasus to the realm of the dead as well.
"Don't worry, Rosie-love," He cooed, nuzzling her neck. "Nothing will hurt you or Tsuwari.. not while I'm standing here." While his tone was reassuring, his expression (unknowingly to Rose) was full of malcontent, driven by evil and the innate desire to destroy the Rainbow of Light.

Rose dumbly nodded, still frozen in the stupor she was in. Things were happening so fast. She knew that she'd have to face these challanges, the challenges of those she knew and trusted being the ones to possibly do harm to Tsuwari or Glayse. Rose just didn't expect them to come so soon. And literally outside her property, no less.
"Let's...let's just get inside," her voice was tiny, fearful, worried. She'd suddenly lost any desire to leave her home, or even venture out in her yard to garden.

"Let's...let's just get inside,"
"All right," Glasye said, though his eyes lingered by what he as a stripe could see as faint mists of purple and red near the river. The evil he had had to suppress for so long burned inside the stallion's body, eager to attack the Light Rainbow and its Champions. He couldn't help it even if he wanted to--it was like a lion drawn to its prey.
Regardless, he played his usual cool with Rose. Though somehow, his thirst and need for blood and murder would have to be reckoned with. Somehow...
The stallion, after a moment more of gazing, strode back into the house, swishing his thick tail. He kicked the door closed behind him, but made no movement to lock it. Instead, he disappeared into the house, deep in thought.

Rose allowed herself to be led into her home, and more or less became satisfied to wander into her kitchen deep in thought. Surely it would've been more beneficial to be with Glayse, to have him state assuring words...but Rose had to force herself to be realistic. It was unlikely assuring words of that nature were right, even from Glayse's mouth, and the fact this had to include a murderer and rainbow champions...
Tea. Tea would calm her nerves. The red unicorn turned to her pantry, and she made herself tea silently, her actions stiff, almost robotic. Without words, she walked mug in hoof to her living room where she sat and tried to empty her racing mind.

Inside the sanctuary of Rose's bedroom, Glasye paced back and forth, muscles rippling and mane and tail flowing with his strides. Champions were back, and some new ones had been chosen. What kind of mischief and trouble was under hoof?
The orange stallion tossed his mighty head, snorting as he did. Something must be happening for the Champions to be regrouping again. But he and his siblings wouldn't be cause for this.. he was the only live one right now anyway, and in hiding at that.
Glasye stopped.
What if he was the reason they were back? They could have regrouped to get rid of him once and for all. One on one he could take, and possibly defeat them, but against all of them.. he didn't stand much of a chance. His heart began to thud in his chest. And right when he was near a turning point in his relationship with Tsuwari!
No, he was getting ahead of himself. Perhaps something else was happening. Hopefully the distraction of whatever bigger situation was unfolding would keep them away from the orange evil.
Glasye took a slow, deep breath, and recomposed himself. Perhaps it was something he should bring up with Rose, but he didn't want to startle or scare her. He thought it best to keep her as calm as possible. Besides.. panic and losing control weren't in Glasye's owner's manual, so to speak.
Striding back into the kitchen as if nothing was terribly wrong, Glasye nuzzled the red mare's neck, then kissed her cheek. "Tell me what's on your mind, Rosey dear.."

Rose nuzzled back, thought, it wasn't as assertive as Glayse's was. Exhalling after taking a long, withdrawn sip, Rose softly spoke her mind. "You know I'm worried. I'm worried for you. I'm worried for Tsuwari. What if...w-what if...," her voice cracked as she tried to bring her thoughts to fruition.
Swallowing loudly, and forcing the tingling of a good cry down in the back of her throat. She turned her head slowly, and peared into his eyes with a deep intensity. "I can't lose neither of you. Not now. I'd never forgive myself."

"I can't lose neither of you. Not now. I'd never forgive myself."
"Rooosey-love!" Glasye said softly, tilting his head to look at her. A confident, almost scheming look upon his features, "Baby doll, I'm Glasye!" He said, momentarily holding an orange hoof to his chest with a proud smile, "And no one, NO ONE, is going to hurt my family," He tiled her chin up to face him, "Understand?"
He smiled sweetly, the image of a family man. His skills had improved since he fingured out what it was that made Rose like clay in his hooves. His next plan wouldn't be hard to throw into motion now...

Rose sniffled, again, fighting hard that urge to cry. Not with Tsuwari somewhere. She didn't want him to feel afraid, or concerned, or get the impression that she was weak somehow.
Glayse's words, although she suspected were more ego driven than anything else, did manage to soothe her. He was right about one thing. He was Glayse, and even though he died some horrible monster before, he came back to her a semi-decent stallion. Glayse would be true to his word through some means, and currently, Rose didn't care or look for a plausible motive aside what she wanted to believe.
"Thanks Glayse," she leaned up and gave him a soft kiss on the side of his lips, followed by a heartfelt nuzzle. Suddenly the danger of Roux seemed far away.

"Thanks Glayse,"
"Any time, Rosey-love," Glasye said, nuzzling her again. He really wasn't too worried--he could always hide out here while the Champions did whatever they were going to do, then he'd be free to do his will again. Maybe the Champs wouldn't even stay in Ponyville.
That thought sent an inward grin spreading within Glasye. A nearly defenseless town with no one to protect them.. oh, he would only thrive amidst sitting ducks!
"Come on," He said, placing a kiss on her neck, "Let's take your mind off such scary thoughts.."

(lol, it's still so early in the day to do THAT.)
"Hmm....I think I know just the thing," she gave him a hinting smile. She stood, teasingly, walking to the center of the room. Paused. Looked thoughtfull. Then promptly set up a fighting style game. "Come on! Best two out of three!"
(I bet you never suspected)

(Glasye: What? It's never too early! : "Come on! Best two out of three!"Glasye smiled on the outside, but a frustrated sigh and feeling of mild dread welled up inside. At least it was a fighting game.. violence WAS the stallion's second forte, after all. Deception being the first. And that being so, Glasye strode handsomely over to Rose, positioning himself opposite her. Even the smallest amount of competition and violence aroused a spark in the stallion's sunset eyes as his ears swiveled forward. "Ready when you are."
