[Time: Evening]
Pale eyes gazed down at the city lights. Everything had changed, and nothing would be the same. Loved ones were lost, to never return. He would never return.
A bittersweet smile began to tug at the corners of Dallas' lips. Snorting ever so softly, she turned her eyes away from the city below. In the past, she had always been the shoulder that others would cry on. The calm during the storm... How could she tell them that she was no longer the same mare from before? She couldn't...
Tri-colored strands of hair danced in the cool breeze. Allowing her eyes to slide shut, Dallas took in a deep breath. The great hill was the only place one could go to gather their thoughts, and she found herself making the long walk from her apartment to the hill quite often.
Sighing quietly, she leaned against a nearby tree. The only warm article of clothing she had put on was a scarf, and even then, she wasn't cold. Not physically, at least.
An empty chuckle escaped her lips. Why was she standing here and sulking? She was young, and full of life.... she should be out having fun.
Using the tree as support, Dallas turned to look down at the city once more. A town without pity... There was a hint of a smile in her eyes. Maybe all she needed was to meet someone new, and a little exciting.
[OOC: Well that was odd. lol Anyone feel free to jump in. ^^]

Tacet wasn't in a very good mood. She was still feeling horribly disconcerted by her little adventure in the Surprise Room, not to mention the fact her headache still remained. Oh, and let's not forget how hungry, tired, freezing cold, and...oh, I don't know...deaf she was! The gorgeous trinket now hanging around her neck did lighten her mood a little... but only a little. Trudging her way towards the city, Tacet didn't even notice someone else was there until she was about five steps behind the other. The sunshine pony just stared stupidly, a little surprised to see anyone would be around here.

Pierced ears flicked at the sound of footsteps. Turning around, Dallas' eyes widened for a moment. She, too, was surprised to find someone else on the hill.
"I didn't think anyone else would come here..." Her voice conveyed the shock that was lacking on her face.
Bi-colored eyes squinted slightly. Tilting her head, she took a step closer to Tacet. It was hard to see clearly in the dark, but it was obvious that something was bothering the mare. "Are you alright?"

Tacet shook her head. She could barely hear a word the mare was saying. "...Can't hear you..." She muttered quietly, voice barely more than a dry whisper. Stepping back as well, Tacet gave her head a little shake. This wasn't going to work out at all. She only hoped she'd eventually be able to hear again. Bloody stupid spirit and her bloody stupid quest...

Dallas blinked. Something had to have gone wrong with the mare. But what?
Shaking her head, she spoke louder- though in a way that wouldn't make it seem as if she was trying to make fun of Tacet. "What‘s wrong?" There was a look of genuine concern on the alicorn's elegant features.

Tacet sat down in the snow with a heavy sigh, ignoring the cold. How to phrase this? She didn't feel like talking at all... then again, she never really did. Finally, after a lengthy pause, the sunshine pony answered Dallas wearily. "Head hurts."

Dallas nodded in understanding. Kneeling down by the mare, she spoke so that Tacet could still hear her. "Well, let's get out of the cold. I have some pain killers back at my store. If you like, we can go there?"

Tacet nodded, a grateful smile spreading across her face. If there was one thing she needed right then, it was painkillers. Very powerful ones. Lots of them. She rose to her feet wearily, wobbling only a little.
This has been the second worst day of my life. The Rainbow must really hate gypsies. Or maybe just me.

Dallas gave a warm smile and placed a two-toned hoof on Tacet's shoulder as the mare rose. Once she was convinced that the gypsy was able to stand on her own, she removed her hoof from the other's shoulder.
Keeping close to the mare, she slowly began to lead Tacet to Loft 16.
[Con't at Loft 16, eh? ^^]

Tacet just needed a while to get her balance; after the initial wobbling, she was fine. She followed the strange mare, head held as proudly as one who feels as sh*tty as Tacet could.
((Right then. Off we go.))
