(Time: Evening)
Zinnia, Spring Fever and High Tide walked up Solsbury Hill, bundled up against the cold. Only Tide stood unaffected with nothing to keep him warm. "We could make a snowman," Spring suggested. But Zinny had a better idea. "Let's play Hide and Seek!" she said. It was her favorite game to play when there wasn't much light out. The other two agreed, for the reason they were at Solsbury was to play with the little pony. "I'm it! I'm it i'm it i'm it i'm it i'm it!!!!" Spring yelled. She closed her eyes and started counting. "1....2....3....4...." Zinnia ran around trying to find the perfect hiding spot, while Tide went and sat behind a large rock.

When Spring reached 30, her eyes opened quickly. She smiled mischievously and wandered over to a large rock, where she saw a flash of blue-green. Once she was directly behind Tide, she pounced, revealing his hiding spot. "Hahahaha! I found you!" she yelled joyously. "Oh no. Rats. Now I'll be it." High Tide said flatly. Spring Fever ran off to look for her sister's hiding spot. "Really," Tide muttered to himself, "Sometimes I don't know which one of them is older."

Spring Fever's search for Zinnia was futile. She searched everywhere but could not find her. After 10 minutes of searching in vain, she said, "Alright Zinny, I give. Where are you hiding?" There was no reply. Spring smiled slyly at this. "Come on, I'm done looking for you; I'm bored!" the pink mare called out. Still there was no answer. Her older sister grew impatient. "Come on Zinny, it's Tide's turn to be it! Besides, it's getting dark, we have to go home." When there had still not come a response, she began to get worried. She called Tide over to help her search and when after a half hour she still had not been discovered, cold stinging tears streamed down Spring Fever's face. Every minute there was a new worst-case scenario in her mind, something that could have happened to her little sister. High Tide was nervous too- he had also been responsible for the little one and didn't want any bad fate to fall upon her. By now the moon was high in the sky, and both ponies were weary and afraid. "We'll have to go find help," the blue-green stallion sighed.
