Spooking Kail, in turn spooked Razz.
"Uh, no," he admitted. "I don't think so. I was just... standing here. I guess I'm a little tired." His eyes wandered all over the room before finally coming to her face.

Kail gave him an odd smile. "Yes... well, I guess we are both a little tired then. It's been a long day." And rainbows had it ever! Gods and money and dancing in the rain and fires and now Razz just standing there looking at her. It was enough to make her dizzy all over again, although she had the feeling it was just the latter that was making her dizzy.
She looked down for a moment and then brought her eyes back up, trying to scrutinize him without looking like they were doing just that. "So, uh, goodnight?"

"Oh, yes." He looked away. "Good night." He was still looking at the floor. Then in one super-tired, bold movement, he leaned forward and kissed her on the nose. As soon as he made contact, he seemed to realize what he was doing and backed away into the hall until he'd bumped his rear into the wall. He blushed, turned, and scurried into his room, where he promptly shut the door... and got his tail caught in it. Opening it again, he yanked it in. Inside the room, he slid down to the floor and leaned back on the door. He resisted the urge to bang his head on it a few times. Sky Feathers had climbed over the blanket and was perched at the edge of the bed. "Are you OK?" she asked. "Yeah," he said, feeling stupid. "I'm OK. Go back to bed, honey." (Must go to bed. Quite tired now. )

(and we have one extremely happy character for the move ) Kail was shocked speachless for a moment, and by the time her mind had returned to ruling her body over her heart Razz was already bumbling his way back inside his room. When his door was finally shut for good she shut her own and promptly put a hoof to her mouth and giggled. That had been quite possibly the cutest thing she had ever had happen to her. Smiling and humming a lighthearted tune she got into bed and turned off the lights. It would be a while before she fell asleep, thinking of Razzarroo and the kiss on her nose, and dreaming about dancing in the rain with a purple stallion. (And Kail is out of commission sleeping until I return to the online world!)

"Sure", Whisperwind replied.
Later on, she got to bed. She said goodnight to everyone and a few moments later she falled into deep sleep.

Kailani entered the room so calmly. It was difficult for the colt to believe. Had she not just rushed to a burning building? He’d seen it all from the window. Perhaps she was distressed on the inside and was reluctant to show it. Silence’s eyes followed her sympathetically as she went upstairs.
It was that it hit him. It was late! Butterscotch would have discovered his absence by now, and she would be furious. However, she did wrap herself in her work so tightly that often times she didn’t notice him at all the whole day, but he didn’t want to leave. He liked it here much more then he did the quiet house he and his mother lived in.
If only there was a way he could contact her to let her know he was here and ask her if he could spend the night. He flew over to Lily and wrapped his arms around her leg and looked up at her with huge imploring puppy-dog eyes. Maybe she would help him.
(OOC: Anyone have any ideas on how to contact Silence’s mommy Butterscotch…? Anyone’s chars friends with her by any chance? They could call her up or something?)

The mare peered down at the colt. "What is it that you want?" she inquired.

Having ventured home, for what was the first time in how long now? He had forgotten. Upon stepping hoof into Butterscotch’s house, Jol checked for Silence. Not finding him, he asked the mare who said something about ‘playing outside’. Ears plastered against his head so tight that one couldn’t tell if he even had ears, Jol made one or two comments that he shouldn’t have before storming out of the front door.
How that mare every managed to get anything done baffled him. Some days she just seemed so scatterbrained.
As the rain beat upon his body, he moved along the streets ever watchful, ever alert. Silence was somewhere. All he had to do was check the right place.
The storm increased without warning and Jol hoped that the colt was somewhere safe and dry.
Having checked more shops than he could even remember every stepping into in his life, he moved towards one more before turning home, in hopes that Silence was back with Butterscotch, Razz’s shop. At least the storm had let up, for which he was thankful.
Still a block away Jol’s eyes widened as the roof erupted in flames. How had that happened? There was no lightening? Magic? Maybe.
Instead of quickening his pace, Jol remained glued to the spot he was in as he watched, almost fascinated by the sight. As the flames began to slow die down, he blinked, breaking the trance like state he was in. With each step the smell of burnt wood stung his nostrils.
Eyes darting back and forth along the street he hoped Silence was nowhere nearby. Catching sight of the open nursery door, something pulled him towards it and Jol stepped inside.
A bundle of white sat clutching a mare’s leg and for the first time that day his features softened as he looked at the colt who had adopted him.
“Silence.” Jol said softly, “How ya been?”

A terrified squeal escaped Charm as she jumped sky high, or would have had she not hit her side against a chair. Fear filled eyes glanced towards the window the others were looking out. What if something terrible had happened? What if it was Gabriel or Dreamer? Not wanting to look, but yet having to know Charm slowly trotted up to the window. Fluttering wings, she tried her best to peer out of the window without bumping into Silence or stealing the windowsill from him.
Razz’s home was going up in flames! Throat tightening, Charm watched in horror at the sight before her. Where was Razz? Was he all right? Did someone get him out? What about Sky Feathers? The filly’s mind raced with questions none of which she could bring herself to ask.
As Kail rushed out the front door, Charm stopped fluttering her wings and landed with a small thump on the floor. Walking towards the open door, she watched and waited, hoping that Kail too wasn’t leaving her. But what if she did? What if everyone she ever cared for was destined to walk out of her life the same way her mother had?
Fighting back tears, Charm was never so grateful in all of her young life as she was at the moment that Kail, Razz, Sky Feathers and the others entered the nursery. She wanted to hug each one of them, but something told her now wasn’t the time.

(fourth time attempting to type this without getting interrupted. >.<)
Silence gripped Lily's leg tightly, eyes shut, as if he was never going to let go. He hoped she would think of something to let him stay. He wanted to stay here with the others so badly and he seemed to be accuainted with Lily the longest so she seemed to be the most apt one to turn to.
Suddenly his ears twitched as he heard a farmiliar voice from behind him.
“Silence.” Jol said softly, “How ya been?”
His eyes opened and he let go completely, whirling around to face the voice with ruffled wings and pricked, alert ears. There before him stood a tall, orange unicorn stallion. He knew in an instant who it was, and he galloped toward him with sparkling eyes and a glowing smile.
He pounced onto Jol, knocking him down, and wrapping his forearms around him. Had his legs been long enough to wrap completely around Jol's neck, he probably would had choked the poor guy. By now he was laughing with joy uncontrollably.
A tear almost escaped the colt but he held it back. He didn't want to look like a little baby in front of his dad. It's been nearly a year since the two had last seen each other and Silence had grown considerably larger in the time passed, larger than a normal foal at least. His wingspan had lenthened quite a bit as well. Most of all he thought more like an adult than a child now. He hoped Jol would notice all of these things. All this time away from him, the white foal was looking forward to trying to impress his father.

Jol was knocked off of his hooves and tumbled backward. Completely taken by surprise. He hadn't imagined that anyone could ever miss him this much. A smile tugged at the right corner of his mouth and something like a half smile graced the stallion as he looked down at the colt.
Tossing multi colored hair from his glittering jewel eyes, Jol sat up. His tail half underneath him and his back legs turned in an uncomfortable position, yet he didn't care.
"Now this can't be the same foal I saw last." Jol began, "Can it? My how you've grown Silence! Why your almost a stallion now yourself. Won't be needing me around much longer, I imagine."
Jol hadn't meant the last part the way it might have sounded. In truth he loved being around Silence more than anything. But he wasn't foolish; he knew that in time the colt would grow up and have no need for him. The real question though was, would he still be around to see this impressive pegasus grown? Or would he too vanish from the colt's life without a trace, like his parents had seemed to.

The pegasus was practically beaming even brighter than his coat when Jol complimented on his growth. He understood the last comment wasn't intended to be serious. The colt undersood things alot better than he had in the beginning.
He yawned for a moment and curled up next to Jol with his wings folded down and, although he was on hardwood floor, fell fast asleep.
(con't to next morning post soon?)

Lily smiled as Silence gave the stallion an enthusiastic welcome, though she was extreamly confused with who the guy was. "So," she asked the snowy white pegasus, "who's this? Your daddy, perhaps?"

((Ooooops. XD))
The reunion continued, and her question hung in the air. The next thing she knew, Silence was fast asleep on the floor. Hyper little colt, she thought.
