"MM hmm," Swirl turned to Whisperwind. "There's a nice park, with a fountain and birdbaths and lots of cardinals."
Treat handed Whisperwind some toast "I think I even know how to get there. I'll start putting together a picnic lunch now, so....let me know if any of you want to go."
Swirl wiggled away from the kids and leaned in close to her Sister. In a very quiet voice so as not to alarm the kids she said "Hey...did The Sisters send you with extra first aid kits? I'm going to put some things together to see if anyone needs help. Yesterday was...something else" TT nodded and stretched his nose up, pointing to upstairs.
(ooc: Don't feel you have to go. Strawberry Swirl isn't the boss of you! LOL)

A sound between a sigh and a whimper came from beneath the covers in the bedroom closets to the stairs up top. Kail's lavendar eyes slowly opened, seeing only the blue sheets with the bright sunlight trying its best to shine through. It had been a wonderful sleep - she felt almost as if she had slept for a whole week she was so well-rested.
She stretched, still under the covers but letting her hooves poke out of the top of them until they hit the wall behind. Her back hooves stretched out the other side of the bed and she yawned serenly before relaxing all her muscles again and smiling at the blue sheet.
Finally, the sea green pegasus threw back the covers and got out of bed, grabbing a brush and running it through her mane and then tail. If Razz was awake she certainly wanted to look the best she could after just having woken up. A look in the mirror satisfied her and she opened the door, and practically skipped down the stairs to the kitchen.
Just about every single pony was in her kitchen it seemed, except Razz. Still, his door upstairs had been closed, so maybe he just wasn't awake yet? She wouldn't let it spoil her mood.
"Morning everyone," she said cheerily, although few of them looked very cheery themselves. She manuevered herself past Coon and Kimono and gave Treat a big smile as she moved around him to get to the coffee and fridge. She wasn't much for coffee, but if she put enough chocolate syrup in it so it didn't taste like coffee anymore than she didn't mind.
"Mmmmm, smells good, what's on?" The berries smelled delicious.

Coon took the plate from Treat, licking her lips. She hadn't hesitated in taking a bite as fast she could. Instantly, the corners of her lips pulled up as the gooey, sweet sugary fruity taste filled her taste buds.
Swallowing, she gave Treat a very delighted expression, "You know, this sure makes getting hit with that debre worth it."
Smiling happily, she continued with it, until Kail finally arrived. Coon's ears perked and she gulped down the last of what was in her mouth. "Ah, morning," Coon replied, trying to put some seriousness in her voice. "I need to talk with you," she said, darting her eyes as if to note away from the foals present.

(Need to catch up a bit)
Gumdrop smiled slightly as Swirl gave her a 'semi-pony hug'. She still said nothing as Bella gave her a hug also. Gumdrop wanted to go after Razz. They were like one big family, but Razz was upset and nobody was cheering him up. She sighed.
(Sorry. ^^; Too much to catch up on.)

Bella lifted her head from the table with a sigh and attempted to flatten her hair down a bit with a hoof. After being unsucessful, Bella jumped off her chair and nearly squashed her puppy who had been sitting ever so quietly beside her chair. By seeing this strange quietness of her puppy, Bella believed he knew that something wasn't right. She now gave him a small hug before trotting closer to the other adults. She wanted something to eat, but she was a little shy and didn't know who to ask.

Treat couldn't help but to chuckle at Coon's statement. "Uh, good? Seconds?"
He hadn't realized Coon had been hit with debris, and now felt sorry for not asking her if she was ok. Or rather "him" since Treat picked up a subtle "I'm manlier then you, Sister" vibe. One of many good things about spending so much time with women is that Treat could pick up on such odd things as "vibes" and feel comfortable with them (and also recognize women in all of their wonderful forms). And, he had to admit, Coon had a lot of "manly" traits he did not. After all, one of the few times he'd tried to stay out of doors his pineapple upside down cake had just NOT cooked correctly, and Coon looked like she just wouldn't have that sort of problem.
When Kail lit up the room with her entrance, Treat gladly returned her smile.. "Morning hero," he spoke in a low voice as she brushed past him. "Razz left to see some insurance folks."
Swirl interrupted anything else Treat was thinking of saying by bouncing over to give Kail a hug. "Good morning!"
She paused momentarily to nicely command that Treat give Bella something good to eat. Treat chuckled and bent down to the foal's height, offering her a variety of cooked fruits, toast, or biscuits.
"Oh my gosh, it's so good to be back!"
"Ah, morning," Coon replied, trying to put some seriousness in her voice. "I need to talk with you," she said, darting her eyes as if to note away from the foals present.
"..oh...right! I'll go check the town over then."
She gave Kail a regretful look, but they had plenty of time to catch up later, didn't they? There were things to do! Right now it seemed like she had done nothing but run around and meet new and interesting stallions, but eventually there had to be downtime. Just because she *wanted* to stay with Kail didn't mean that she *should*.
"Talk to you later." She gave Kail another small squeeze, then trotted over to the door. "Bye everyone, have a good day, ok?" She paused momentarily, trying to think if she'd forgotten anything.
(ooc: ack, sorry I squeezed so much in. Hope it makes sense!)

"Morning hero," he spoke in a low voice as she brushed past him. "Razz left to see some insurance folks."
Kail grinned inwardly at the nickname. She was appearantly getting herself quite a few of them nowadays. "Ahh," she said, trying not to sound as if she really cared too terribly much where Razz was. She didn't want to come across as disappointed that he was already gone afterall.
Before she could get anything else out Swirl attacked her with a hug, which she returned happily.
"Ah, morning," Coon replied, trying to put some seriousness in her voice. "I need to talk with you," she said, darting her eyes as if to note away from the foals present.
Kail's bright grin faultered. It was too early in the morning for this. She nodded seriously and dumped a lot of chocolate in a mug, then filled it with coffee and took a sip. She made a face - still coffee. She had a feeling she would need it this morning however.

Waiting patiently for a lull in the conversation, the purple stallion approached Treat with a rumbling stomach and a slightly gaunt appearance, "Mind if I have one of those?" He asked politely, motioning to the tray full of breakfast foods. He hadn't eaten since a few apples he found the day before, and was convinced he could probably eat a whole orchard by now.

Coon gave Treat another, true from deep down smiles. Treat could cook, he was beyond well in her book. "As much as I'd love to, I'd rather make sure there's enough for the young'ins.," a minor slip of the way she spoke at home around her family.
Looking back to Kailani, Coon waited patiently for her to make her coffee concoction.

Replacing the coffeepot to the maker, Kail stirred her drink the best she could to get the chocolate up into the rest. Bleh. She walked past Coon and was about to lead her upstairs when she thought better of it. What if Razz came back and heard Kail had taken another stallion up to her room for "private time"? No, that would not do.
Instead, she lead the other down the hallway and out the side door, where there was a smallish garden the kids sometimes worked on during the days. Turning, she took another sip of the cup, made a face, and then looked at Coon. "So what's up?"

Coon recalled from the other day when Kail had mentioned a scare at the beach. Then, she focused her thoughts to the other night and formed an explanation in her head.
"I'm concerned...," she started, still somewhat uncertain of the entire matter, "The other day, after I left the cafe, I went back to my home to see if there was damage." She made certain to exclude the fact she lived in a tent.
"After a little looking around, I saw something weird. Like a fight went on back in the woods. There were all these bloody patches, but here's the odd part. Some of the patches had really fresh grass blades sprouting from it, and some it looked like all the life was sucked out of the plants.
I've never seen things like this before, so I was going to ask you about it last night. I got caught up in the fire incident though. There was a fight going on in there too."
She shook her head, rambling on. "What happened at the beach other day? It's silly...but I'm afraid something is happening."

(Oh my GOD a PURPLE stallion! Refraaaain yourself Gumdrop! O.O )
Gumdrop's green eyes widened as she finally took in her surroundings, which included a big purple stallion. "Purple..." She murmured softly, her eyes aglaze...

Kail listened thoughtfully to Coon's explination of what was happening, and although the bloody patches (some with fresh grass, some without) confused her, she did have a feeling she knew what was going on. And suddenly Razz's place didn't seem like much of an accident, not that it had seemed that way to begin with.
"What happened at the beach other day? It's silly...but I'm afraid something is happening."
A sigh brought her out of her thoughts and she took a quick sip of her coffee to clear her throat. "Something is happening, and its involving alot of potentially very powerful ponies." She paused and decided she had better start from the beach, as that was where she had begun to suspect.
"The other day when we took the kids to the beach is when things really started. Some ponies showed up, Brigid, Inti, Set, and some others I have never seen or heard of before. Things were going well until a couple of them started to get into an arguement. Brigid and a dark hooded one I believe, and there was a strange looking one that seemed to be edging them on and making things worse. Well the dark one suddenly yells something about being a god of death, and I think he really did belive himself too. Inti mentioned something about having mages before Brigid shut him up. Tyr arrived to try to calm the others down, but," and she paused, because she hated to say such things of a family friend, "he think's he's one of them. A god."
Kail frowned and took a sip of the coffee, she wasn't sure how much of any of it Coon was making sense of. "Tyr I guess has always said he was a god, but I guess I just took it as him being wise and powerful, and basically a teacher. I guess I always took it as a jest on himself, not that he's much of the jesting sort. But now these others have shown up, and I know for a fact that Silverfall has been talking with that Set fellow, who also thinks himself a god. And things are getting... dangerous."
She looked out of the little side alley towards Razzaroo's shop. "Set was there last night - I remember seeing him, but I was too worried about Razz to pay any attention. He did not look happy. I..." she stopped and frowned, "I wish Razz wasn't friends with that Silverfall. She's dangerous too." The silver mare had mirraculously disappeared during the ROL/ROD fighting, and Kail vaguely remembered something Razz had said about her the morning after the fighting; something about her being the spirit that had actually done all the fighting, and a Dark Mystic taking her away to Fewa. And now things were getting to be dangerous again and she was in the middle of it with Set. This surpassed the triffle little jealousy Kail had fostered for months, this was getting into the range of actually being worrisome.
"These ponies who say they are gods," she started, "we should find out how many there are and try to keep tabs on them. Try to keep them from harming anyone else. Try to keep them away from the kids." It included Inti, but she really wasn't concerned with Inti at the moment. Not after last night.

Coon's ears flattened, and the further Kail progressed in her tale, the further any hope slipped from her. The masculine mare frowned with a stern, yet bothersome face. Perhaps it was just that time of year that weird lunes decided to wreak havok.
And were exactly did Coon stand on this issue. It was very apparent that Kailani saw the "gods" as a threat, but more importantly, as ponies thinking they were gods. Now Coon Skin probably wouldn't be going as far as to say they weren't or were gods, except that she felt that it was very possible for either. And beliefs? Hell, as far as I'm concerned, I ain't ever heard of the "Religious Order of Set" establishing a church somewhere. And if there isn't a church, than there's no donation box to steal from. Therefore, they aren't even worth whorshipping.
Confirming her stand more so than resolving where she stood, Coon nodded her head to the other's instructions. She recognized Inti, at least. She had seen him at the Cafe, the others were knew to her. "What did they look like, the ones you saw?" Last thing I want is to see Stokely getting psyched up and happy over dark gods...

"Well, the look like normal ponies mostly, although taller. But I do think not much taller than Treat. The one had dragon wings and antlers; the really bad one, who called himself the god of death, had a dark cloak on hiding his features. Inti is bright yellow with a sun symbol and lots of jewelry, but I don't think we need to worry about him, or Brigid, or Tyr."
She thought for a moment. There had been another pony on the beach that day. Another tall one, but silent and watching the sea, not at all interested in the going-ons.
"I know Tyr calls himself a Shadow God. I would assume the hooded one, Set, and the antlered one are bad "gods". Brigid and Inti are good. There was another that I think might have been a god, but he was silent and disinterested in the rest. I've no idea if he was a "god" or not, or which side he was on, and Im not sure what Tyr means by "shadow god" either." Kail sighed. "If the quiet one was a god that would make seven. It would balance out perfectly well if he was a 'good god' with Tyr in the middle - playing moderator or whatever it is he does."
Of course, Kail hadn't heard anything of Yama or Calliope.
