Alright, here we go choosing new champions. The two up for grabs are Yellow (intelligence) and Indigo (future-seering). Only currently played characters are allowed to be Champions, and you must be willing to go to Course and be ACTIVE throughout the next storyline. If you are so interested you can read the old good stripes post: pone.proboards20.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1061064359To apply for either stripe (or you can apply for both and see which your charrie might be best at), you must post your joining bio along with any extra stuff that has happened since you joined. And you must post a sample RP playing your character (without stripe is fine). Then myself and the other stripes will read them over and decide who should get which color. You have until Friday to post your bios (because Friday is my only day off for the next week and the only day I will be able to read and vote).

I decided to do Zero instead because I think he would really benefit from being a champion. I'm not re-writing the bio because I spent a week or two on this one and I'm too proud of it to do another one. ^^; Zero Immortal Alicorn Haven’t decided on one yet, but I will edit it in later. Although he is immortal, he appears as though he is in his early twenties. Midnight black body with equally as black hair and silver streaks. Purple eyes with hints of silver. Thin-limbed, has big hooves and a long thin horn that sometimes shines a silver light. Long black falcon like wings tipped with silver, that seem to be very mildly mangled, but he is still able to fly with them. There are chunks of feathers ripped out in the middle of each, and the remaining feathers are ruffled and messy. Powers: Has spent hundreds of years studying and practicing his powers, and learning new ones. Although most of his powers are unknown, the ones he uses most are pretty basic, for example, healing, mind reading, etc. Not much is known about the mysterious stallion named Zero. But from once glance into his saddened deep purple eyes, you can tell that something terrible happened to him, and that they haven't been happily aglow for many years. Even though he desperately wants to move on, he cannot help but dwell on the memory that seems to cause him so much misery. Softly spoken and slightly aloof, this alicorn is gentle and does not speak ill of many. His friends seem to come and go, but none stay with him forever, for such a thing is impossible. They all have passed away because Zero has outlived their time, but their spirits stay with him, and he still converses with them on occasion. Zero is a friend to the animals and various animals seem to be drawn to him. He especially loves cats, birds, butterflies, and any other small creatures. Zero knows alot about Mythology and Gods, and has met many for himself. Stripe: Indigo Why?: First off, I would love to have Zero be a champion because i think being touched by the rainbow would restore his faith in himself. He's been feeling really guilty about something that happened a while ago, and if he could help others in some way or another, it would help him as well. I'd like him to be the indigo stripe because Zero has an advanced knowledge of magic and he loves to learn more. He hasn't had a premonition before, so this would be exciting for him. I decided to choose the indigo over the yellow because, in my opinion, it would be more fun and more of a challange to rp the indigo stripe, and I could learn from it. Roleplaying intelligence should be easy, but I think future-seeing would require more imagination, something I need to work on. ^^; Heh. Also, I had so much fun playing Yama in the second plot, so I really want a prominent role in this one too! xD Sample Rp (Based upon Zero's past): The deep purple trees that made up the forest rustled quietly in the wind. They were the only sound to be heard, until a taunting voice broke the silence: "Come out to play, Zero!" the voice cried out playfully. A black stallion emerged from the shadows of the whispering trees. He seemed to melt into the blackness of the night, except for the silvery streaks in his mane, and the glimmer of his eyes that were reflecting the moonlight. But what the night didn't show was that his pelt was flecked with blood, dirt and twigs, and his eyes were tired and weary. He staggered along the leafy ground, and he felt his brain black out at regular intervals. The alicorn finally came to a stop, his knees weak and trembling and his eyes stinging. "Exodus..." Zero spoke, his voice croaky and his throat sore. "This cannot go on... You cannot hide forever." He said to the shadowy trees. "This will go on as long as I want it to!" Exodus' voice rang out bitterly, a hint of guilt buried in there somewhere. "I'm always one step ahead of you, you'll never catch up!" She laughed, pushing the guilt out of her mind. He knew what she wanted, so why did he not just give it to her? Then she would give him back what he so sorely yearned... Zero's eyelids began to droop. It had been days since he had slept. He fell to the leaf-covered ground, and although he tried to pull himself up again, he didn't have the strength. His vision blurred and his head throbbed. Zero stayed as he was, and muttered the words, "Show yourself, you coward." After a few minutes of consideration, Exodus emerged from the trees, in the form of a pure white bird of some sort. She landed beside the fallen alicorn, it's eyes unblinking, and its feathers ruffled. A bright light illuminated the night as the bird's flesh and feathers began to move, and it took on the form of a navy blue mare. "Face it, Zero. You'll never get it back!" Exodus laughed horribly. But her eyes did not show the same joy. They seemed cold and saddened. Zero looked up at her from where he lay, and his eyes showed anything but defeat. "You may have won the chase this time, Exodus. But you will get what's coming to you in the end..." He stared at her, and as their eyes met they both knew that he would never back down to her. The navy blue mare with wings of black scowled at him, realising that her taunts weren't working. And somewhere deep inside she knew... He was right. Her eyes began to water, but no, she would never let him see her cry. Before Zero knew it Exodus was a bird again, and she flew away hastily into the velvet night sky. Zero closed his eyes. I won't let you break me this time, Exodus...Not again...--- Heh, got a bit carried away with the Sample RP. ^^; Heh.

Ok… here goes nothing… I’m proposing my new character for the yellow stripe. Now, I guess I’ll put a word out for myself first, because I know I’m a bit new here, not even a full month since I joined. But I think I’ve got the hang of this stuff quite well. I haven’t posted much on C03 because it took a while before I figured out my charries, but I’ve been playing actively in Darklands. I’m not really all that new to rping itself as I sort of let on in the joining post, I’ve been doing it with friends in real life, the only thing to get a hang of was the online format, so to speak. Anyways, enough with the advertising, all I’m saying is that if you choose my character, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed in my participation… heh (spoken like a politician, oh god ) Anyways, here’s my character. I broadened his bio a little from what I’ve put down on the joining board. Name: Hollow Heart (usually called Hollow, was called Heart) Age: 35 (immortal) Type: Earth Symbol: a sort of black outline of a star… but the star has four points, sort of like a diamond… Colours: dark corn-coloured body, black mane and tail and golden eyes. He has a black muzzle and black feet up until the knees. Powers: no exact powers; only that he can see death approaching, so to speak. He can see from everyone how old they are, based on how long a life they have to expect for… He sort of sees everyone in the state of dying all the time. He can also predict death to a certain extent, but this power only works randomly and rarely. Description/temperament: he is silent and a bit of a brooding nature. He used to be ambitious, and there is still some of that trait left. He looks upon the world in a practical if a little cynical manner. He is very intelligent and shrewd, and in fact mostly thinks with his head, not his heart (assuming he has a heart; some people think he is too cold to have a heart, but that’s another story). He takes on all the angles when he considers a choice he has to make or an advice he has to give, and always tells people to be cautious. (In this, he has changed since his youth, since in his youth he was much more rash in his actions) Hollow believes in cause and consequence. He believes that all deeds have their consequences, be they good or bad. But he doesn’t think that if you are evil it automatically means you’ll be punished; only that whatever you do, you’d better think it through first, because otherwise you might get something you didn’t bargain for. He doesn’t like too hasty people. Hollow also attempts to not get attached too much to people he knows will die sooner or later, but this doesn’t always succeed too well. History: When he was young, his name was Heart. This name bore significance, for his parents had given him the name because of his great passion. He used to live life to the fullest when he was young, and always yearn for adventure, immortality and fame. That was why he left Ponyville, to search out for his fortune in the world. After some wandering he then found Twilight. She was badly wounded, and Hollow, being always willing to help others if it didn’t cost him anything, saved her life. Grateful, she told him that she had the power to make wishes come true, and she allowed him one wish in return for his help. Logically, he asked for a wish – he wanted to live forever and ever. Twilight asked him to consider all the implications carefully before making such a wish, but being a rash youth, he would not listen and wished upon her star. She warned him that her magic always had its prize, but granted his wish. She made him immortal – with the consequence that he then could see the presence of death in everything. He was horrified at how it turned out and fled from her. He has been gone since, mournfully wandering around in places where there are no ponies, in order not to see their deaths approaching. Sadly, it was not only other ponies he could see in state of dying, but also everything else around him, and he soon found he could have little comfort in any mortal thing or being. Being very stubborn, very proud, and not having lost the ambition that had first persuaded him into asking for immortality, Hollow would not let go the gift/curse and learned to live with it during these years of wandering. Since his transformation into an immortal, he took on the name Hollow Heart, and wishes not to be called by his former name any longer. Now he has recently arrived to Ponyville with Rogue and Tramp, looking for new challenges or he himself only knows what. The stripe I’m proposing for him would be Yellow, although I think he could handle Indigo as well, having an inclination towards seeing future and always looking into the future and trying to perceive all different possibilities for future. However, the main reason I would like him to have a stripe in the first place is that I think it would really do good for him. He doesn’t have anything in his life at the moment to cling on to, and he is currently searching for a new challenge to lift him off, so to speak. He would still have a lot to learn, and the stripe would teach him a lot, even if he would also have a lot to give to the Rainbow. He is highly intelligent, even to a level where it becomes a bit uncomfortable for anyone around him, so he'd have a good background for the Yellow stripe. As being said, he won't let any emotional thing affect his judgement. (Also, I would really love to have a part in the next storyline ) And here would be my sample rp, of Hollow when his wish had just come true. Note that at this point he is still called Heart. Heart stared at the pale pink mare with fury glowing in his eyes. Twilight stood his glare proudly, yet a great sorrow lingering in her eyes. Twinkling, glimmering stars swirled around her, cradling her into a shimmering mist. Her horn glowed ever so softly, giving a tender silver shine to her dark eyes, so full of wisdom and sadness. The stallion before her wasn’t fazed by her sadness, however. He stood with his powerful neck arched and his nostrils wide with anger, his entire being trembling as though he was under a great strain. “You… tricked… me!” he growled with a deep, terrible voice and he took a step forward, toward the calm mare. His heart was pounding like thunder. He was so angry that he could have killed the mare then and there with his bare hooves. And yet, though he would never admit it even to himself, he was also afraid. He was so afraid he trembled, and his blood rushed with adrenaline caused as much by fear as rage. He wanted to close his eyes from this horrible sight he saw… “I did nothing of the kind,” Twilight answered with a soft voice, dipping her head with a sad motion. “I warned you, and you would not listen. I am sorry, Heart…” “No!” Heart bellowed, his hoof hitting the ground angrily. His heart was set fire again, and the terrifying greyness which surrounded him, the terrifying hollow feeling he sensed all around him now mingled into a pain too great for him to handle as he heard his name spoken. What it had meant… never more! He would never more feel the passion he had once breathed for. How could he ever feel the breath of a sweet mare on his neck, her touch on his body, when he could see her wasting away, her splendour fade into nothing and her very life escape from her with every hot breath she blew on his fur? No, he would never again enjoy the feeling of the light spring grass under his hooves as he galloped away on the meadows, not when he could feel the grass become dry and dead beneath his hooves, wither away like everything else around him. He stared at Twilight with sudden emptiness in his eyes, and his neck bent down as though the weight of a thousand years were already upon him. “No…” he said quietly, shaking his head. “Call me not thus any longer. I am hollow at heart now.” Twilight opened her mouth to say something, anything, to comfort the stallion. Her pain was as great as his. She knew what a curse she had put upon him, but she could not divert him from the path he had chosen. It had been his choice, in the end. She had warned him to consider carefully, and he had not listened. This haughty young stallion… how much he still had to learn. She tried to grasp something to say, but in the end all she could manage was an, “I’m sorry.” He shook his head quietly, his eyes closed. She stared at him for a moment in silence, then sighed. “If you wish again,” she said quietly, “it can be undone.” She thought she already knew his answer, and was not surprised when the stallion jolted his head up, staring at her darkly. “No,” he said with a low, angry voice. “This was my wish. And I will live it through!” She opened her mouth to argue, but he tossed his head and pawed the ground with his great hooves. “No more words,” he said darkly, turned and galloped away in a cloud of dust which he raised from the dry ground as he ran. She closed her mouth and stared after him in deep silence. Well, it was as she had predicted, and as she had feared. He would have his journey to make. Slowly, she let the stars embrace her and take her away, fading away into the early evening eeriness like a ghost. [[Sorry if the post seems long, I got a bit carried away with the sample rp]]

I am confused. Are the stripes going to just waft around and glomp on to new ponies? Are these ponies that have other stripes from other twin rainbows? Or are we just going to suspend disbelief and pretend that the new stripes had always been the stripes? Thanks.

Going for either color here...yellow would come more naturally to her, but the powers to accompany indigo can be worked in easily--I just have to have Aedeminar steal her and dunk her in the spiffy little Rainbow Pool. This option would also be open to the pony that does get the indigo stripe, btw...if it should be nessicary for the storyline.
Name: Shadoweaver Age: 21 (er....22 now?) Type: Flutter (of Fatum Island descent and general type) Symbol: a clouded full moon Colors: black, silver, and sky blue Powers: Like her mother, she is a weaver of words...able to make the pen truly mightier than the sword. Her powers are broader, however, spreading to the spoken as well as written word. In other words, she has the power of suggestion...though depending on the circumstances, it can be a bit more than a mere "suggestion". Description/Temperment: Shadow is a taller than a normal Flutter--perhaps due to her Big Brother father. Her coat is silky black with the faintest whisps of smoke, her eyes silver flecked with blue, and her mane is a tumbled waterfall of sky blue streaked with silver. Shadow sledom smiles, but she's not at all dour. She's got a sarcatic wit, but the sense and kindness to not use it cruelly. Usually. Shadow does havea bit of a temper, however, and when cornered will fight viciously. Beneath a gentle and tired mask lies a very emotional young pony still growing up and finding it more painful than she expected. Birthplace: Dream Valley History: She lived a quiet life with her parents in Dream Valley, often assisting her mother with her job as the Queen's speechwriter and sometime diplomat. She also studied under Aedeminar and Emerald Shadow. When she came of age she moved to Ponyville, seeking to explore and to escape the shadow of her famous mother. Unlike some of the other ponies, she took the reappearance of the old gods mostly in stride. Magic of the sort they weilded, and the idea of gods outside of the Rainbow, were a part of her childhood. Though the battles itself and the mayhem they caused bother her, her concept of the world remains primarily intact. And Tyr is still...the sameTyr he always was to her. Emerald Shadow's loss currently pains her, for she was a beloved teacher. Other Notes: Dragonrose and Quicksilver's daughter
Sample RP: Shadoweaver stood next to the freshly covered grave. It was quite noticeable in a graveyard otherwise undisturbed for thirty years. Shadoweaver tilted her head to one side thoughtfully--though not disturbed by new graves in such a long time, the place had been well tended. Someone had kept the headstones clear of weeds and left flowers on some of the graves. She leaned forward to read the names of the gravestones with the freshest flowers: Dreamcatcher...Moccasin...Emerald Dream... A tear darkened a trail down one cheek. She knew those names, though only from the mutterings of Emerald Shadow's restless sleep. That answered the question as to who had tended Serendipity's graves...their former healer, Emerald Shadow herself. And now she lay next to her husband and two sons, at rest as she had not been for...quite some time.
Serendipity herself was begining to vanish under waves of grass. The few survivors of the plague that struck the village had left it for Dream Valley proper long ago. No one lived there now but ghosts.
Shadoweaver gave her head a sharp shake. For a moment there, she thought she'd seen something. Perhaps it wasn't wise to linger here...
First, though, she wandered the graves and pulled away the intruding weeds. As she walked she muttered, and when the flutter finally left, the place glowed with magic under the rising moon.

The Rainbow will unattach from the previous stripes (lets say they died) and find the new ponies to attach to. Its only a piece of the stripe, so they wont get the Rainbow's full power like the last group of Champions had. (It only works when the pony in question has a great need of it now, but its not an everyday occurance).
You have til tommorrow... or sunday... to get your bio posted. It all depends on if I am called into work tommorrow (very good possibility)

Post by Jewel on Mar 4, 2005 2:02:46 GMT -5
Name: Jewel
Age: 19
Type: pegasus
Symbol: (black) wavy staff lines, G clef and two music notes
Colors: Her body is basically tan, but in the sunlight, for instance, shimmers like gold. Her mane starts as a sienna-brown, but fades 1/3 of the way down into a deep purple. She has deep purple eyes.
Powers (if any): Significant psychic powers (not as strong as mind-reading, but more.. fortelling capabilities)
Description/temperment (how they act, nice, shy, ect): At first, Jewel may seem a bit cold and reclusive, but with her closest friends, she can be outgoing, compassionate, and loving. She's distrustful of the world around her, and bonds to few. However, those who she lets into her life are ones she'd protect with her own. Jewel is curious, motivated, and possesses leadership skills when the opportune moment comes to use them. She is a strong and weathered individual, proven to be good in combative situations. She is also afraid of the dark and has a water phobia.
Birthplace (or place of the majority of residence): a war-torn area of Ponyland similar to something like Tambelon, the name of which is unsure, since the land is still being fought over.
History: Jewel was born the daughter of a duke and duchess in a land once called Cassek, in the far east of Ponyville. Although the scandal of her father having married a mare from the lower class continued to be gossiped over, Jewel was raised under the guidance of royal mages. From only a few years old, she was educated in many different subjects, but mostly those she would need in a war-torn country, such that molded her into a pony who could prove to be a talented spy, ground or air fighter, or swordspony. If nothing else, she had the intelligence to be both a leader and a dignitary, should she have ever chosen the path that had been set before her.
When Jewel turned sixteen, she arrived at that crossroads. Half the royal family had been murdered, and the land was falling to it’s combative neighbor to the south. The future was so grim and unsure, Jewel’s parents decided to flee to the palace homes of friends to the north, where they could keep their titles and at least a shred of their power. Jewel, tired of the formality and restriction life had shown her thus far, told her parents with a proud heart that she was going to choose her own path. They argued at first, but so pressed and chaotic was the situation, that it took little time to see the young pegasus would go her own way.
After a brief stay at Dream Valley (to visit the famed Firefly she had heard so much about and regain some strength), Jewel stayed briefly in Course with a pony named Bella. The coastal environment, however, didn’t suit her very well, and within little time she set off again for what turned out to be Ponyville. It was a new community, and she one of it’s first inhabitants. Taking over an abandoned cottage in the woods, she began her own life there. It wasn’t soon after that the great Battle of the Rainbow of Darkness occurred, during which she helped defend her new home, even killing one of the dark stripes.
Within the year, during the winter, she found a baby griffin during a walk in the woods whose mother had been killed by wolves. Feeling sorry for the helpless baby, she took it in and raised it. Amr, now the size of a large dog, comes and goes as he pleases, always ready to come to Jewel’s aid.
All too soon after this, she fell into the misfortunate company of a dark god named Eshu, who manipulated her (or tried to) to fight against the light gods. Jewel betrayed him, siding with the goddess Brigid and the god Inti. Eshu's outrage soon led to her death, but her spirit was kept in limbo by the spirit of her powerful mage teacher of her younger years. She remained in this kind of purgatory until Prophet could find the half-god colt, Silence, to resurrect the pegasus. She then reunited with her love, Peri Winkle.
other relevant info. Before leaving her parents and everything she had ever known, one of the elder ponies under whose guidance she had studied approached her with an amulet. It hung on a silver chain, an ornately decorated silver casing with a breathtaking fire opal inside. The old pony knew her time was near, and that she may not live to see the end of the war. Thus, she passed on the ancient amulet to the young pegasus, warning her to guard it carefully, and not be afraid of its powers. The pony had said that no, Jewel did not choose it.. but it had chosen her. This is the last of her memories of her old life. Since receiving the necklace, Jewel has noticed a white unicorn with solid purple eyes appear to her on important occaisions, passing words of wisdom and guiding her through her travels.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Sample RP:
(I'm going to place this right before Jewel came to Ponyville)
~*``*~*``*~*``*~*``*~*``*~*``*~*``*~
Golden-tan hooves became slowly more brown as she continued on the dirt path, occaisionally kicking up dust and scattering small stones. The pegasus's head hung comfortably, deep purple eyes fixed aimlessly ahead. It had been a long journey, but she continued on the same as the day before. She felt the pull on her spirit to some new place, or new situation. And she never really stopped to question it.
Her tired body was numb to walking, seeming to take on the task without the mare even thinking about it. Jewel’s mind wandered, taking in what she could remember of her blurry life thus far. The laughs, the tears, the friendships and betrayals. The times she needed a shoulder to cry on, and the times she could take on the world all on her own. The company and companionship she had found… and lost.
Why the daughter of powerful nobleponies had chosen a nomadic life over that of luxury and ease, is something not even Jewel completely understood herself. All she knew was what she felt, the feelings she couldn't ignore. The energies that seared through her veins, the push and pull of the elements around her. It was all she could do to keep up with what felt like chasing the sun falling behind the horizon, forever running away from her.
As midday approached, the golden pegasus stopped to rest near a wide stream. Her knees ached and fatigue and hunger panged in her body. After many long sips of the cool running water, Jewel removed her pack and folded her legs beneath her under the protection of a large tree. Her amulet began to hum softly against her chest.
"What is your destination?"
Tan ears flicked in the direction of the voice, who belonged to the white figure standing on the other side of the tree. A solid white unicorn whose image faded just before reaching the ground soundlessly walked to stand in front of the pegasus, who remained unsurprised.
"I don't know," She said matter-of-factly. "I'm just going."
Solid lavendar eyes which looked as if to contain a universe all their own watched the peg, never blinking. No expression was evident on the spirit's stoic face, nor did her lips move when she spoke.
"You are like the river," Prophet said, in a soft voice that sounded like wisps of smoke, "It does not know where its path will lead, or what it will endure.. yet it always finds its way to the sea."
The pegasus looked toward the stream next to her. She frowned for a moment, then turned to respond to the unicorn.
She was gone.
Soon after, Jewel rose and again stabilized her pack between her golden wings. She walked forward to take one last sip before heading off again. Muzzle dripping, she stared at the rushing blue water, thinking over Prophet's words. Purple eyes gazed downstream, I know where that will go, She thought to herself, it's bound for the sea. But what lies... this way? she continued, glancing upstream toward the river's unknown origin. A curious gleam appeared in her eyes.
It was with that last thought, that Jewel's hoofprints trailed into the distance, in the direction of what she would come to know as Ponyville.

Name: Star Dasher Age: 19 Type: Earth pony symbol: A gem Colors: Dark purple, white and pink mane Temperament: Star Dasher an unsocial, usually agressive pony. After living her childhood alone and unloved, she don´t know what love implies at all. For more info on this, look at the character growing thread. History: Star Dasher is an orphan. A young, good-hearted stallion found her in an alley when newborn, and left her at the local nursery. Star Dasher grew up there. However, she always got the feeling of not fitting there. She ran away from the nursery, that was her home, at the age of eleven. She finally reached the Outher Edges of Ponyville. Today, she living there as a illegal outsider. Star steals whatever she needs to keep on living; food, and stuff to sell for more food. She trixy; a capable thief and a great liar. Here is a post that tells about Dasher´s childhood: The purple earth youngster was wandering queitly in the footsteps of the couple, hidden by the darkness many foot away. She was´nt afraid, just becuse there was two of them ... the darkness of the evening could scare anyone. Dasher stopped and peered trough the night. Perhaps she should jump out of the shadows and steal whatever they could be holding. But why would they fear her? A thin, nineteen year old mare, who barely could get something to eat everyday? For a while she thought about seeking someone up. A mentor, who could learn her more skills ... or just a warm, loveable home? Loveable ... Star Dasher hardly knew what that word meant. "No," She said to herself, starting to walk again. What am I thinking about? I can make it! I have survieverd on the streets for ... for ... Dasher gave a sigh. For a long time now. I can handle this, all by my own! She lowered her head. ...All by my own... Sorrow filled the mare´s heart. She tried to shook it off, but all feelings reminded her of what happened after leaving the nursery were she grew up. She never got anyone who really cared about her. She saw mares and stallions come and go, but none ever picked her. Most of the time she sat by herself in a corner, drawing ... drawing was her life. She remembered the feeling of holding a pencil ... it was not very often by now she got her hooves on paper and pencil. Then ... then came the horrible night. The night when she left 'Baby Star Dasher' at her back. "Nobody loves me besides of you", the filly said. The moonlight was shimmering on the quilt on her bed, and the soft teddybear sat in the corner of it, looking back with sad eyes. "Oh, Teddy ... no, I must do this myself. You must´nt follow!" The purple foal leaned towards the stuffed animal and gave it a hard hug. "You must take care of the other children. Those who have´nt given up their hopes yet". Star looked around the room with sleeping ponies. "And they got no reason to," cried the youngster. "B-be-becuse t-they s-s-sure will find someone who loves them, someday." Star Dasher looked at Teddy. "I-I am just a re-regular little pony. Nothing special. Thats w-what I am". The body of the baby pony was shaking. "A wo-worthless, r-regular earth-filly. Oh, Teddy!" She whispered. "I ... I am going to miss you so..." And so she climed out the window and disappeared into the dark streets. The chilly evening made the now grown-up, young mare remember everything. She had always been an outsider. In her desperete tries to get attention, she had kicked and bitten the other baby ponies, stolen their toys and lied to the nurses. But they did not belive her of course, when the other fillies bathed in tears. As an result, the other foals avoided her and called her things. The nurses did not really react when the saw Baby Dasher in tears, and after a while, Star Dasher stopped caring. She sat there in her corner, drawing and drawing and drawing ... unloved, forgotten ... and the staff seemed to belive that she was happy. Life is unfair, Star Dasher thought for herself. This was the best thing she could do about the situation. She kept walking. UNLOVED ~* Stripe: Either one Reason: I can not resist apping for Dasher. This would be a first step for her to become good (if she´ll ever get.) Lots of other things makes this storyline very interesting too ... Coon was going on the trip too, eh? They´ve got some in common ... some not. Besides, Dasher would be so thorn between everything; being a thief, being intrested of a thief, and at the same time being chosed Champion by the Rainbow itself, along with good hearted Razz and Kail... ~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sample RP: A possible happening in Dasher´s early days in Ponyville Star Dasher wandered the streets, feeling dull. She suddenly noticed that she was apparoching the fountain, and settled there on the edge to look down on the surface. A thin, troubled mare stared back at her with a empty look in her eyes. Life was so unfair and hard. Why had she always been hated and feared? Even though the mare did not know it herself, she did struggle for love. She had been fighting at the nirsery to get attention, to get love ... she had been running away becuse she gave up her hope ... Sigh. Yes, she had been hoping to find love elsewere. But she did not. She had almost forgot what love meant. She dashed the water with her hoof, and the purple mare´s miserable face disappeard. "Blah," she said to herself, leaping of the fountains edge. "Let´s go steal a apple or something, I´m hungry..." Oh, yes ... outside a store, the fruit was lying and waiting for her. Without being ashamed, she leaped forward and started to eat as much as she could, before someone made an attempt to stop her. A yellow unicorn looked up. "Hey! Stop that! THEIF!!!" Dasher lifted her head and glared with a smile of a devil at the mare. Rudely, she spat the fruit out in the mare´s face, giving her some extra seconds to gather fruit to run away with. She grabbed pples, pears, bananas and even some exotic fruit and then galloped away as fast as she could with everyhing in her hooves and mouth. The unicorn had no chance to catch her. Star Dasher smiled. Tonight she were´nt going to be hungry.
