(cont. from the Castle - Peri's Room)
As soon as Kail had cleared the castle doors she had spread her wings and taken flight to the Inn. It was much faster, and much less work that way. She landed in front of the door to the Inn and barely had time to fold her wings before she opened the door and called out "Tyr!"
She was hoping to convince Tyr to take the Gods elsewhere. She hadn't thought that if they left their mages would leave with them, but even if that thought had crossed her mind she probably wouldn't have cared either way at this point.

Tyr was seated at a table, staring at an empty plate of food. When he heard his name he lifted his head and looked at Kail.
He looked...tired. The ancient warrior was still not fully recovered from his battle with Loki, but his eyes were bright and clear. "Yes, Kail?"

Kail stopped short as Tyr lifted his head and acknowledged her. He was a family friend, and she respected him as such, and she really had been out of line running in like that and yelling his name. And he looked so old right now. He had never looked so bad that she could remember before.
"Sorry," she said softly and took a chair across from him. "We've had two murders tonight, and it is my understanding that you are sort of the leader of the ponies who are proclaiming themselves as gods." She stopped for a moment to regroup her thoughts. "Can't you take them somewhere, Tyr? Course or the Northlands, or someplace else? Ponyville is not prepared to deal with something like this... its barely been a year...." Of course he would know what she was refering too, and she knew it was very unfair of her to ask that he put this burden on another area of Ponyland, but she had no other choice. Tyr was Ponyville's last chance.

Tyr's bark of laughter took even him by surprise. "There's seldom any true leader of gods, Kail. The lust for power is too strong for them to follow anyone quietly. Having been...awake longer than them, I have some more sway, but that is all. And where would you have us go? In many cases, the places we called home are no more. None of us have any desire to lapse back into obscurity, as that is as near to death as we can ever come. Imagine, if you will, what it might be like to be aware that you were dead. An uncomfortable thing, no?"

Kail's already low face fell further as she realized there was nothing they could do, short of kill all the mages and potential mages that the gods mights draw their power from. And even then they could always come back later. There was no way to kill them. But there had to be a way to stop them! Even the Rainbows could be contained and hidden away.
"Yes," she said very seriously, "nearly as uncomfortable as watching your friends get tangled up in a deadly situation with no way to save them." Pushing her chair back with an awful scrapping sound, Kail stood to leave. "Thanks for your help Tyr. I hope we are both still alive and well when this is over." She turned and left the Inn.
The sun was nearly up by now - she had been gone all night. Hopefully the nursery was still safe.
