(con. from battle thread)
The beige goddess remained collected as she entered the inn. Dragonrose and Shadoweaver were still in town, if Brigid recalled correctly, and would not be there as she made way to her room. It had been the same room she'd retained for the past three fourths of the year, and she'd been gracious to her mages daughter for putting up with her for so long.
The structure truly was amazing, Brigid mused as she made the path to her destination. She much preferred the architecture of her time, and although it was similar in appearance, she knew the means of construction was very different. Modern buildings were a craft in themselves. It would be a missed part of her current life, but nothing that she couldn't forget in days. Fewa would be a place she could reside in, to live the rest of her immortal days without fear of the dreaded slumber.
Entering her room, Brigid's face finally fell. She was weary and tired from battle, glad of Yama's end, but disheartened that her prized horn was broken. Normally she would bare her war scars with dignity, but...it would be much harder to deal with this fresh scar then the others.
Silently her eyes trailed to the desk in the corner. Atop sat the gifts that Kenshin had given her last winter to woo her. He and Dark had promised her warriors, and their assistance should she need it. It seemed a lie now. They had been nowhere in battle, no where in the distinct area of Ponyville, for the matter, with no reason why. Perhaps if they'd supplied the trained fighters they'd promised less would be currently dead. Bitterly she snorted at the earrings that lay there, the earrings of Kenshin's mother.
She had recalled feeling so honored to receive them, and yet he dishonored his mother and herself by neglecting to be there when she had need of him most. No, Kenshin was no mage of hers now. These gifts would be left behind so that he may find someone else to pawn them off of.

(con't from outer edges)
Inti had made it back to Ponyville without any problems, but he wasn’t feeling all that great either. Who would after going through what he just went through? He recalled that Brigid was staying at the Inn. He walked down the main road solemnly with flattened ears and a lowered head. He wanted to smile, knowing he was in public, but found he could not. He felt a sickening inside.
The mortals were starting to emerge from the safety of the shops and homes, only to run back inside when they saw him coming. He wasn’t the bad guy. He had done all this fighting here for their sake. They didn’t know any better, he understood, but still it hurt. His pride had never felt so tainted then it did this day.
He finally arrived at the inn. Walking up to her room, he felt a lump in his throat. How was he supposed to explain why he had returned so soon? He hoped she wouldn’t rub it in his face that she was right all along. No, Brigid could be harsh, but she’d never do anything like that.
He knocked on the door, forcing a half-smile and trying to hide his emotions prior.

Brigid turned away from her thoughts and the jewelry resting upon the desk. She focused her mind on the door, and though it was difficult, could determine Inti's figure on the other side. She did no dawdle in her task of opening the door for him. Brigid did not dare utter a word, for she suspected the reason for his swift return.
Instead, she offered her words of mild comfort. "I am glad you came back. It seems right now all we gods have is each other."

"I guess so." Inti replied, stepping into the room. "Being around other gods is nice, but I'm going to miss being with the mortals."
Inti really did have an attatchment to mortals for obvious reasons. However, it was enough to puzzle or even agrivate any other god.

Normally Brigid would question why this was so. Considering...she let her usual harsh tone subside. Inti was upset over something, as was she. Now was not hte itme for harshness.
"You can always visit," Brigid offered to him, "I'm sure even I will miss one or two mortals...Jewel and Kimono have worked themselves into my heart, I assure you."

Dragonrose had spent most of her life believing in a goddess who slumbered...to see Brigid in the flesh, only to sense that she was leaving again, twisted her dainty flutter heart.
If she hadn't seen Inti enter before her, Dragonrose would have darted in but....no. She waited in her own room, the door slightly open. Back and forth she paced, wings quivering at every half-halt.
Was Tyr staying? She didn't even know that. He had made his way in the mortal world alright so far, but perhaps he wouldn't be welcome know that it was known what he was. The Northlands were mostly empty of folk, now, so there was little there for him to go back to.
If the gods felt out of place here....well, so did she.

Inti nodded. "I'm going to miss them too... alot." He said calmly. His smile presented happiness, but it could not hide the sadness in his eyes. It all seemed too soon. "A visit sounds nice."
There was a short pause as Inti's glance darted around at his surroundings and then fell back upon Brigid. "When were you planning on going?" He asked.

When was she to go? Brigid wasn't entirely certain. After the battle, it only made sense to rest and reserve her strength for the journey. But then, there were so many more things that she really should do, too. The beige unicorn let her mind swim with all of her mages she'd wanted to show her deep heart felt gratitude for...to both Dragonrose and Jewel.
No...Jewel does not need a visit from me now. After death she would be much happier in the arms of that stallion. I suppose, my gift to her is to leave her alone at this point in time. She nodded to herself, the actions causing tendrils of hair to fall into her face. With a slow motion, she tucked the strands behind her ear, green eyes gazing back upon Inti.
"When we're both rejuvenated of our strength," she replied, "If there are other things you wish to do before we go, now is the time." With that, she turned to her desk and retrieved Kenshin's former gift, and then towards the door. "I must speak with one of my mages before we ultimately depart."
Slowly she exited her room and went the way towards the flutter's chamber. Usually, a goddess would not have need to announce her presence rather than barging in, but Brigid was far from her usual sell that day. So when a knock sufficed, Brigid first placed in her head, then followed by stepping in fully.
"Dragonrose..." she exhaled in an attempt for enough time to gather her thoughts. "I am certain you are aware of the situation we gods have fallen in. It is no secret that I intend to move on to another land, one that will be more accepting to the gods. For this, I am regrettably sorry that I am to leave you.
"You are, of course, more than welcome to join me, but I am sure that you have other obligations, I am sure one of which is to your daughter. Please do not feel sorrow at my departure, I implore you to be happy. Today was a great victory for the lighter gods. You have done valiantly in battle, as well as your daughter. And if today is not cause for joy, than feel solace in knowing that I exist and that we have met.
"I am certain your belief in me was what had awoken me from my slumber. For that, I am eternally grateful. You are a mage of which I shall never forget.," The goddess paused on reflection as she tried to collect further thoughts. It wasn't the last time she would see the flutter, she was half certain of that, but she could not stop from saying so much.
"I do not think I shall be leaving until tomorrow. However, before I departed, there is one last request I ask of you." Brigid crossed the distance between the room and gently placed the pair of earrings that Kenshin had given her last winter.
"Kenshin...I am not certain what happened to him. These were his mother's of which he'd given me months ago. I do not think he truly had meant to give these to me, and since they are of deep value to him, I am asking you return these safely to his possession."
(Brigid's wordy tonight <_<)

Inti nodded as Brigid walked out the door. There really wasn't anything left for him to do. He had said his goodbyes to his mages, and he was feeling alright considering he hadn't done much fighting in the battle rather than saving civilians. He supposed he'd always be a softie for mortals.
He stood there in the room with a blank expression for a moment, staring out the door where Brigid had vanished from sight. He walked over the armchair in the corner and slumped down in it with a sigh. After contemplating all that had happened in the past few months. No matter what he tried to focus on, his mind kept trailing back to his tribe. He sighed again more heavily and closed his eyes for a moment, thinking about what could have happened to them…how they could have passed. Did it happen all at once, or over a long period of time? Could it have been a mass forest fire? A plague? Could they possibly have died from lack of recourses? Or could it have been a full-fledged war? Every possibility made Inti’s teeth grit and his ears flatten as each scene played out in his head.
He opened his eyes and shook the thoughts out of his head. He needed to get this off his mind. He stood up and frantically tried to think of something to cheer himself up before Brigid comes back.

Dragonrose regarded Brigid solemnly. If her eyes glittered a little more than normal, well, that was their secret. "My daughter has her own path to follow, one I diverged from some time ago. But Dream Valley...and Queen Sunnrunner...well, I can't just walk away from them. Even if a part of me wants to. There will be some upheavel when Emerald Shadow does not return..."
The midnight blue flutter took the earings and placed them carefully on the bedside table. "If I see him before I leave, I will give them to him. If not, I'm sure that Shadoweaver will see to it. She might even me diplomatic about it." Dragonrose flashed the ghost of a smile.

Brigid lowered her head in a slow nod. Dragonrose and Shadoweaver both had done so much for her. Leaving now and saying goodbye... it left her feeling old. Not in the sense that Brigid was aware of exactly how old she was, but more of an aged, weary mind. Perhaps it was a lingering affect of the battle just then.
"Farewell, then, Dragonrose. May your days be brighter ahead.," Brigid left one last thing, before returning to her room. She flashed Inti a brief weary half smile, before dropping down on her own bed, ready to replenish her energy.
(I suppose we can hope to Fewa now that Brigid has said her goodbyes)

(ooc: Uh, I guess so. But how can we leave is Brigid is sleeping?)
Inti half-smiled back as Brigid began to replenish her energy from a well-needed rest.
Inti flopped back in the armchair and soon fell asleep himself.

(Yes, I would say she is. Since most the board has jumped, it really seems redundant to actually right out them literally leaving to Fewa. It's not necisary, so to speak.)
