So, the board is covered in something called PAARS... but what the heck is PAARS?
PAARS stands for Pony Ailment Assortment of Retroviral Symptoms. In short, its a virus that an evil, upset pony created from the Smooze. When a pony first encounters this virus, it usually shows symptoms similar to a small cold or allergies. After a week or so the symptoms are only getting worse, sending them to their beds. In two weeks they start to swell up and turn purple (unless of course they started out purple). By week 3 they are dead. Ponies with comprimised immune systems will get sick faster, but any pony who has encountered the smooze before (like Rose, who was smoozed when she was a kid) will have a certain amount of immunity to it. Nearly all ponies are suseptable to PAARS, and even those who don't feel sick can carry it to another pony and make them sick.
So no matter what, if you have entered a PAARS thread or board infected with PAARS, you must write PAARS in the subject of any other threads you go to. You are officially infected.

0.0 PAARS is scary... what can a pony do if he/ she is infected to be cured? Because, if in 3 weeks you are dead, then you don't have much time to RP o.O I mean, there is a cure to PAARS, isn't it? ;D

There isn't yet, but there will be. The game doesn't move fast enough that in three weeks our time they will be dead - it usually takes weeks just to get through one day at games like this But no worries, everyone (mostly) will be cured eventually

Yay! So, let's see if I get it: I'll just die from PAARS if I want to? Sorry to keep bothering you, I promise I'll stop!

Oh, so time goes pretty slow. Chemica just got infected at the Cotton Candy Cafe. She has two brothers who are, inevitably, going to be infected soon too. How should my pony start to get sick? How many of our days equals one of their days? Is every pony going to be infected? I'm planning on making a few more characters for here and the sister sites possibly.
Also, if I wanted to post pics of my characters, where do I do that?
Sorry for all the questions, I just want to stay true to the rpg:)

I'll see if I can answer some of these for you. Basically, we don't count days in real-time days. Time is counted as it's played out on the threads, so if some thread that happens during one day would happen to take a week to be played through then that's how long one day would take. Their days are totally normal in-game though. As of how your character should start getting sick, the way I see it, just have them develop symptoms of the flu first and go along after that, getting worse and worse as days go by. My twins in Chemica's thread for instance have been infected for a week now (I time-jumped them recently a week forward) and therefore are getting more seriously ill, though Rogue isn't because he has an extremely tough resistance. I plan to get him bedridden eventually as well, and most of my characters will get badly sick. Piccies of characters generally go to OOC board though I've seen them posted into the character bios as well. But if they're more like art and you want everyone to see I suggest you post them on OOC board so we can all comment on them. (You're not really supposed to go commenting in other people's joining threads.) No worries on questions, there'll probably always be someone around to answer. I try my best, anyway. Oh and Becka, correct me if there was something wrong with how I explained the PAARS thing.

Ok. Thanks. I think I get it:) It probably takes a week for the disease to germinate right?

The way I understood Becka's explanation up in this thread is that it kicks in pretty much instantly - or at least very fast, since after a week the pony is already in pretty bad shape. But Becka would probably better answer that, she's the one who's thought up the virus. ^_^
