name: Baby Penny Candy
type: baby pony
came with: a brush and a cute wittle hat! ;D
date found: 5-4-05
price: $4.00 at Target(Target Exclusives)
colors: magenta-ish body, dark pink, light pink, and white hair
symbol: A strip of button candy, two sticks of licorice. and three small wrapped candies all clustered together
box reads: "Today Butter Drop and I are going to make candy necklaces to wear(and nibble on!)."
comments: I'm a sucker for little things, so the cute little packaging, the little hat, and the fact that she's a baby pony made it necessary for me to get her.
analysis: I'd call her a baby Snow'el - doesn't fit in with the Snow'el in my herd, but it's what she looks like!
name: Baby Butter Drop
type: baby pony
came with: brush and wittle hat!
date found: 5-4-05
price: $4.00 at Target(Target Exclusives)
colors: yellow body and orange hair with shimmers
symbol: Three cookies inside a heart
box reads: "Today I'm going to make a batch of rainbowberry fudge with my friend Penny Candy!"
comments: Same as with Penny Candy - but a lot of digging through Penny Candy's was necessary to find her.
analysis: Baby Bumblesweet! ;D
Overall Notes: I heard about these two online and have been searching for them for a few weeks, as I'd heard they were in "some Targets in California". They are Target Exclusives and may have been in the store before I found them, since they were placed oddly.
I found mine in the little shelves next to the register, where they usually stick Kelly dolls. They are $4.00 each, which I consider to be overpriced, but how could I not get them?
Each comes in a little package alone, with a brush and a little sun hat. They both have gorgeous blue eyes, but unfortunately they are made of the very squishy sort of plastic - possibly just the same plastic, but layered very thin(which means my brother won't be getting anywhere near them as far as I'm concerned - not after he temporarily mangled my Serendipity!).
My Butter Drop already had two puncture marks when I got her, and don't get me started on the neck seams...it looks like the Hasbro employees had a glue fight - Penny Candy had some extra hair glued to the tops of her forelegs. Luckily I was able to get that off.
