Well, I couldn't help myself. I was in my brother's room and something on the cover of his latest Nintendo Power caught my eye - "Shadow the Hedgehog". So I swiped it of course - he's off camping so he'll never know anyway.
I'm a Sonic the Hedgehog addict - have been since I was like 3, so naturally it was big news for me to read that they're making a new Sonic game - but this time it's all about Shadow. Moh well. I've always loved him too. I'm afraid I never followed to the end of Sonic Heroes - SA2, and 1 for that matter, had such awesome storylines it was an huge slap in the face to see how badly all the characters had been butchered(and they put Charmy Bee on the Chaotix team instead of my personal fav of the original Chaotix, Mighty Armodillo - never could stand Charmy ).
I mean, if anyone's played the game they'd know that Amy was just a disgrace. So anyway, I never saw the end, and apparently it was still left open for discussion of whether or not Shadow was the real one(unlikely - he burned up in the atmosphere for crying out loud ) or some android thing.
Well, the new game coming out is called "Shadow the Hedgehog", and instead of the new tradition of character swaps it'll be all Shadow. And...um...he's gonna use weapons - as in, guns... Not that I care - I luvs him anyway, but it makes me wonder what'll happen to the game rating.
But here's what the Nintendo Power article said: "Your actions at critical points in the game will tip the scales toward the forces of good or evil, and ultimately determine Shadow's fate, reflected by multiple endings." Sounds sweet. Except naturally I'll have to play it through like 50 times to see all the endings(or more accurately force my brother to play it like 50 times and call me in to watch the cinema scenes ).
So cha. Can't wait to hear about Shadow, cause I loooove anything even remotely related to Sonic. Still, the whole time I was reading the article I was thinking, "Why didn't my brother tell me about this?!" But then...maybe he hasn't had a chance to read it yet...
