I am SO happy! ;D I know I already have a brag thread for my Twirler, but this really merited a topic of its own.
So the other day I went to Great America with my school, as an end-of-the-year treat type thing. And for some reason on the bus ride there, I had the distinct feeling that I'd be leaving with something Pony. Well I figured there'd be only one place to find such things, so first off I dragged my friend to the cheap rip-off carnival games. And right there, way up high, was a HUGE plush Pinkie Pie! So I just looked at my friend and said, "I'm going to get that pony!"
It was a ring-toss thing(get the little plastic rings that like to bounce all over the place over the tops of one of the slightly-smaller bottles), and I played three games, failing miserably. Then I resorted to attempting to beg the lady working behind the counter to sell it to me. That didn't work out too well either. So I decided I was just going to stand there until she caved(which, by the way, wasn't exactly working). And just by total luck, there was a guy my age from another school that got TWO rings on the bottles.
I ran to the over to the guy as fast as I could(falling on the slippery pavement in the process and taking a chunk out of my hand) and started blathering as fast as I could about how I'd give him $15 if he chose the pony as one of the prizes and gave it to me. So after his friends going "She's gonna give you $15, dude" for a bit, he agreed, I paid him, and the Pinkie was mine, ALL MINE! ;D
...And then I noticed that my hand was bleeding all over the place. Not that it hurt, and I was too happy to really care. I only really agreed to go get a band-aid from the first aid place when I realized I might get blood on the pony. So yah. You wouldn't believe the look on my mom's face when she came to the school to pick me up after and saw me carrying a giant pink pony. I guess somehow, wherever I go, I find a way to come out of things with a pony.
