Rogue felt he needed a break. Gib had gone out to buy flowers, and he was definitely not feeling like tagging along. Besides, he was making good progress - as good as one could, with Gib. The mare was frustrating, really, and Rogue wanted some action. He was a ladies' man, in the end, and he'd been on the road far too long. He had been hoping to find Wing Song, but at this point, any mare would do. So he sauntered into the Cafe, looking around thoughtfully. [[any single (or otherwise funloving) mare may feel welcome to join him ]]

(cont from the castle, let's say it's been a couple weeks since the hair incident.)
Angel stepped into the Cafe. Her hair had grown back since the "accident" had happened. The dark purple pegasus looked around and saw that an alone stallion. Angel watched him. Hmm, this stallion appears to be alone... should i go up to him? The pegasus thought to herself. She thought she might as well..
She tossed her light purple mane when she approached him. "Hello." She said. "You look lonely. Is everything alright?" She asked the stallion.

Rogue smiled when he saw Angel approaching him. He stopped and tossed his deep purple mane off his other eye, on top of the other, in the way he knew made him look rather handsome. He eyed the mare with appreciation. She was cute! He stepped closer with light, airy movements, and swished his tail almost in a show-like manner.
"Well, hello there," he said and extended his neck, his eyes sparkling. "No, I'm quite all right - now that you appeared in my life."
He winked.

The purple pegasus couldn't help but smile a bit when the stallion had looked at her. She found the stallion rather handsome. Angel felt her cheeks turn a bit pink. She wasn't sure what to say to him. "Well, allow me to introduce myself. I'm Angel." She said to him. "What would your name be?" She asked with a smile.

Rogue smiled, pleased to see the mare blush. Yes, he was on a roll today.
"The name's Rogue," he said as he shifted himself to the side of the dark purple pegasus, offering her a hoof to help her sit down to a nearby table. "You must let me offer you something, my dear. What would you like?"

The mare just could not help herself, she couldn't stop smiling. Could Angel have found her true love? She wasn't sure..
She let the stallion lead her to a table. "Well, I would like a sundae." She mentioned. "Thank you for being so kind." She said as she gave her long, light purple mane a toss.

Rogue smiled and dipped his head like a knight acknowledging an order from a lady.
"As you wish, my lady," he said - Tramp wasn't the only one of the due with some knowledge of old gentleman's ways - and twirled around, trotting up over to the counter. he ordered a sundae for her and a drink for himself, and then waited while they were delivered. After paying, he smirked and concentrated on his magic. Gently, the sundae and the drink floated up from the table, as though lifted by an invisible hand, and started dancing in the air towards the table Angel was sitting at. Rogue smiled slightly smugly as he trotted back, his horn glowing a soft purplish light while he guided the sundae and the drink into the table with his magic. He placed the sundae in front of Angel and the drink on the other side of the table, and then slipped into his seat with a confident smile. Only then he let his magic fade, and his horn stopped glowing.

The purple pegasus watched as Rogue used his magic to move them to the table. Her green eyes followed the sundae and the drink. She found the sundae was placed in front of her. She smiled. "Wow, impressive." She mentioned. She was truly impressed. She hadn't seen a stallion as handsome or as impressive as Rogue.

Rogue smiled and took a sip of his drink.
"I'm only getting started," he said with a wink, then gave a laugh. "So, tell me, my pretty, are you from around here?"

The pegasus mare smiled. "Yes, in fact, I live in the Castle." She mentioned. "Do you live around here?"

Rogue had to be impressed. At the castle? Did that mean that she, too, was a princess of some kind? He smiled to himself. He was really getting it on with princesses lately.
"No, not really," he said, taking another sip. "I've been here before, though. Right now, I don't know when I'll be leaving Ponyville again, if at all." He arched his neck and tried to look casual about what he said next: "I'm a warrior, you see - a mercenary, and one of the very best on the trade, in fact."
Of course, he didn't mention that the reason he was so good was because of his twin brother, but she didn't need to know that. He wanted to impress her.
He looked at Angel with a wide smile.
"But of course I should have guessed that you would live at the castle. An Angel by name, and an angel by beauty, there is no other place that might befit you."

The purple pegasus gazed into Rogue's eyes as he spoke. "Wow, a warrior?" She asked, her eyes glimmering.
She smiled when he complimented her. "Well, thank you." She said sweetly. She didn't know she'd find a stallion as sweet and handsome as Rogue this fast! The purple pegasus took a bite of her sundae.

Rogue smiled, fairly sure he had made an impression. He sipped on his drink and eyed the mare appreciatively. He was trying to think on his next move. She didn't seem overly talkative. He decided that he should ease on the flattering part a little for a while, else she might get suspicious. He tried to think. What did these city stals do with their mares usually? Just sit around talking in cafes? Possibly. But it was his experience that mares usually liked also nice long romantic walks and going out together.
"So," he finally said, deciding on an approach, "I hear the Rainbow River looks especially pretty this time of the year."
Obviously he didn't know the flick of a difference between the river in spring, summer or any other season, but it was an approach. He waited if she'd catch on.

The purple mare had taken a few more bites of her dessert. "Yes, it is very pretty this time of year." She said. "I love going to the river often, it's my favorite pastime. I go there everyday to watch the sunset, and the river take in the beautiful colors of the sun, and when the wind is blowing softly..." Angel gave a sigh of happiness. She truly loved the Rainbow River as it was hers. She enjoyed every minute by the river....every single minute.....

Rogue smiled as he watched her dreamy eyes. He chuckled to himself and then took on a gentle expression, reaching out a hoof and placing it on hers.
"Then perhaps you would let me take you there for a walk after we've eaten," he suggested.
