Twilight enjoyed making her own food, to be sure, but at times she liked going out to eat. The Cafe was one of her favourite spots. It wasn't that calm and quiet sort of a place she generally enjoyed, but it had its own charm. And she did like to be with other ponies at times. Of course she didn't really have anyone else to accompany her, usually, but she didn't mind just watching. She liked to remain unnoticed, anyway, as far as she could. That day she was sitting at a corner table beside a window, looking out to the busy street outside and turning around a cupful of tea. It was, of course, not precisely the best of seasons for tea - being spring and all - but it had been getting chilly toward the end of the day, and she felt she needed to guard herself against getting ill, especially with all the flu that seemed to be going around. She did have a new life to care for, after all. A smile trailing its way to her face, one hoof went down to touch her belly. Yes, a new life. She could feel it growing there already, though it had not been long since conception. But a mare could sense these things - at least, she could. Perhaps it was her magic, she didn't know - nor did she care. It was his foal she was carrying, and she was sure she could feel its power. Yes, this foal would be special, she was sure. He would have the strength and the charm of his father. His? She wondered why she was so certain it would be a male. There was no way she could tell - or perhaps it was because she had always wished for a baby boy. And since this foal had been born of wishes and desires... what else could it be but a fulfilment to all her dreams? She forgot herself there, smiling blissfully even as her tea was growing cold. [[waiting for Moondancer, Silver Shadow... I can get Twilight to approach her if you just bring her in. ]]

((oh goodness. *is uncertain* Long has it been since I've last posted here, particularly with Moondancer. =\ I don't know if I remember how I use to play her, but I guess now is the chance to try to improve that dreaded character of hers. -_- here goes nothing. Oh and aye, it would be most appreciated if Twilight would approach her. I don't really a reason to why Moondancer would want to approach Twilight. ^-^; She's too... proud I think to go up and talk to someone. If that makes sense XD))
It felt as though it had been some time since the blue mare had come to the Cafe. She was accustomed to have morning tea, lunch, afternoon snack and evening meal in her own little homely cottage outside of town during her solitude, but now it seemed probably best to try and fit back in into society if she really wanted to move back into her childhood home, the Celebration Castle, and settle in decently enough. Moondancer just hoped she hadn't scarred too many ponies with her rather rude and unpleasant attitude of past times.
After only just stepping into the Cafe, the pretty mare of glossy light blonde locks made her to a vacant table by the window, taking a seat and picking up the menu to have a read through what was available for the evening. She could already feel the itching in her arm to lift up a hoof and check her hair which had been decorated most delicately, but simply, with one of those lovely moon roses. The mare had tried to restrain her self from over-dressing, but she had allowed some nice lavender eye shadow and a "simple" pretty pair of silver earrings with numerous little light violet stones.
Moondancer was feeling uncertain of being here as she tried to pay attention to the names of the food stuffs and beverages; she was beginning to feel very self-conscious and it felt a little strange. The pony really did not like being alone, not when there were ponies around her that obviously had company of their own. Sure she had somehow managed to live alone on the outskirts of town, but she was still a social creature by most standards.
... this is lame. She thought to herself, flicking her lavender and light aqua eyes over to the other side of the menu, feeling a little annoyed. I shouldn't be here. I should be back home. Maybe I should just go home...
She was about to set down the menu but hesitated. No. No I can't stop trying now. I should be trying to improve myself! To become more accepting and acknowledge the views of others... but this is still lame. I should of went and invited SunnyD to come with me so I wouldn't have ended up alone... though I really should be trying to meet others if I want to improve my image and become a better pony...
Moondancer sighed heavily, closing her eyes briefly. It wasn't meant to be difficult, but it felt like it was. Old habits were never particularly easy to break.
((Ehh, I tried X< I don't know if I did well though. *shrug*))

[[it went well, if you ask me, hehehe. You know I kinda fell in love with G3 Moondancer the other day when I saw her at the store. She's a very pretty pony.]] Twilight's hooves wandered onto the tea cup and picked it up. Absent-mindedly she lifted the cup up to her lips and sipped. Instantly her face distorted a little - the tea had grown quite cold and displeasing. She came back to reality from her thoughts and looked down at the cup. Cold tea was really not worth drinking. She set the cup down on the table and shook her head a little, smiling at her sillyness. Ah well, she thought to herself, I had best fetch myself another cup.She stood up from the table and took the cup. Balancing it on her other forehoof she started walking to the counter, her intention to ask the waiter to refill it. As she walked, a young pony caught her eye. She was exceptionally pretty, but appeared also exceptionally distraught. Twilight furrowed her brows ever so slightly. The shimmering blue pony seemed a little nervous to her. Twilight's kind heart always got the best of her. She went to the counter and asked another cup. After she had paid and received the tea, she turned around again and walked calmly over to Moondancer's table. She stopped close by - not close enough to seem intruding, but into near enough a vicinity to be clearly visible to the yellow-haired pony. "Ah... excuse me," the pale pink unicorn started, "are you quite all right?" Her gentle, friendly purple eyes looked into hers kindly, obviously with no intent of ill will.

(( ...omg. I just have to say: I love your Crystal Crown as much as I love Bort!! which is alot!! I still am upset that she looks too much like Winter Snow, but I love how you've given her such a freaky awesome character! Can't believe it's taken me this long to actually go read it XD *loves you* and yes, Moondancer is pweety =3 Oh and the murderer of Crystal Crowns parents wouldn't be Flint would it? Or someone closely related to Flint? It's just the choice of display seems like the sort of thing he'd be interested in. Not sure about the eyeball bit though.)) The light blue mare was frowning slightly at the menu while her inner battle of thoughts raged on - though she was quite unaware that she appeared a fair bit distressed at the moment - until she was, quite unexpectedly, interrupted. "Ah... excuse me," the pale pink unicorn started, "are you quite all right?""Oh?" Her head looked up with a surprised expression when she caught sight of the light pink unicorn that had just spoken to her. Oh Hasbros... someone's talking to me!! That was the first thought that registered in the pretty blonde's head. She wasn't sure on if that was a good thing or a bad thing, but it was a start. Now's my chance, she thought to herself. Be nice... oh butterflies, I hope I look alright..."Yes, thankyou." Moondancer said sweetly putting on friendly smile. She then frowned a little. "Why do you ask?"

[[Lol! Yes, Crystal Crown is quite the gem. To be quite honest, I only selected her over Winter Snow to use for that character because a) she was the one I heard of first and b) she had the magic well, and I thought that fit my plans perfectly. I do love Winter Snow more, but meh what can you do? I do feel tempted to make Winter Snow Crownie’s long-lost twin sister or something, though, haha. Anyways, no Flint doesn’t have anything to do with Crownie’s parents death though. He only hunts for certain types, and both of her parents were quite regular, respectable ponies. I still don’t know who murdered them. It might be just an NPC – he might never turn up, who knows.]]
Twilight was happy to notice that nothing was at least very badly wrong, since the other mare turned to her with such a calm expression. She wasn’t taken aback or felt repelled, however, since she liked to make new friends, and this blonde seemed like she was lonely as well. Or at the very least, she was alone. Now that she had begun the conversation, Twilight saw no reason to back off of it.
“You seemed a little distraught,” she said with a kind smile. “I do apologise if I misunderstood.” There appeared a rosy blush on her pastel cheeks. “I am sorry. But perhaps I can make amends for disturbing you by offering you a cup of tea or something. My name is Twilight.”
Twilight felt that sounded awkward and odd; but she had felt odd since she had become pregnant. Perhaps there was an inner need in her to seek contact to other mares, in the hopes that she might find sympathy and understanding in them more easily than she might with stallions.
[[*waits eagerly for Moondancer to say her name so Twilight can be all surprised about the coincidence* ^-^]]

((lol! Well, I guess you have a point with Flint's selection on whom to kill, but then again, I thought Brand thought that all ponies deserved to die. XD well it doesn't really matter I guess though. =3 ))
“You seemed a little distraught,” she said with a kind smile. “I do apologise if I misunderstood.” There appeared a rosy blush on her pastel cheeks.
The blue pony blushed lightly, inwardly cursing. Oh... ehh, my inner thoughts must have shown on my face. she thought bitterly, a little annoyed because she didn't like the idea of having appeared to be upset when she didn't want to. Done is done I guess, though my question wasn't particularly a bright one now that I think of it. Why else would of she asked?
Feeling quite silly, she decided not to point out her error. Fortunately, the unicorn had continued to speak, though it seemed as though the other thought she must misunderstood.
“I am sorry. But perhaps I can make amends for disturbing you by offering you a cup of tea or something. My name is Twilight.”
"Oh no no, there's no need to apologise. It's quite alright. Either way, it's a pleasure to meet you Twilight." Moondancer said with a warm smile, tilting her head to the side slightly in a cute gesture. "I haven't seen you in Ponyville before I don't think, so you must have arrived recently? but here, let me introduce myself: My name is Moondancer."
And what a pretty name mine is. She thought proudly, her smile showing a sense of satisfaction since she did have a lovely and decent name to represent herself with. Well, that's what she thought anyway.

[[Nah his serial killer tendencies are focused onto “bad sort of mares” if you know what I mean. Though of course he wouldn’t hesitate to kill just about anyone else, either, but yeah. Back to our girls.]] "Oh no no, there's no need to apologise. It's quite alright. Either way, it's a pleasure to meet you Twilight." Moondancer said with a warm smile, tilting her head to the side slightly in a cute gesture. "I haven't seen you in Ponyville before I don't think, so you must have arrived recently? but here, let me introduce myself: My name is Moondancer."Twilight’s eyes widened instantly at the sound of the name. She even gasped a little, and covered her mouth with her hoof, quite astonished. Then she, not remembering her carefully tended manners on account of the surprise, she sat down to the opposite side of the table, and looked at Moondancer with her eyes shining. “Moondancer? Really? My, this is the strangest coincidence I could imagine!” She let out a little laugh and waved a hoof. “Oh, my dear stars. I am sorry if I sound odd, but my darling, you have the exact same name as a dear, dear friend of mine. Although she is a unicorn, and doesn’t look at all like you, and quite a bit older, too, but it is the strangest coincidence nevertheless. Unless, of course… you are not her daughter, are you?” Twilight scanned Moondancer up and down carefully. Though she could not see a drop of family resemblance, you never knew.

((lol. You have a point. )) The blue mare smiled a little smugly when hearing the other gasp and seeing those purple eyes widen. She must think my name is lovely as well... Moondancer thought to herself, pleased. The thing that Moondancer hadn't expected though was what Twilight was about to say: “Moondancer? Unless, of course… you are not her daughter, are you?”Moondancer blinked in honest, polite surprise. However, in the inside her thoughts bristled with annoyance. What's this? Someone else has the same name as me?... Her mind buzzed with shock and some degree of horror and dispair. No, that cannot be! That shall not be!! How can there be a pony named Moondancer, other than myself? I am the only Moondancer there is!"Really?" The pretty blue mare said with sweet curiosity and polite tone from earlier without revealing any of that rather disappointed and annoyed feeling welling up inside her. "I haven't heard of another pony by same name of "Moondancer", let alone a unicorn Moondancer," she continued on, a slight disbelieving smile on her face. Her eyes shined a little as she looked at the other, shaking her head once she had remembered that the other had asked a question. "But no, she could not have possibly been my mother, because I am certain that I do not share the same name as one of my parents. But please, do tell, what is the Moondancer you know like? I'd very much like to hear." She leaned forward a little on the table, an eager and interested look in her expression as she looked at Twilight with lavender and aqua-blue toned eyes. Even though she was not happy with this new knowledge, she couldn't help but feel interested to hear of this "other" Moondancer. ((hahaha, I find it odd to think that G3Moondancer is thinking like this about her name when the unicorn Moondancer was the first XD))

Twilight didn’t notice anything of the irritation or disappointment Moondancer felt over the news that her name was not unique. She smiled in her usual kindly fashion and took her interest as a pure desire for knowledge, rather than anything else. “Well, I am not surprised that you haven’t heard of her, since she lives in Dream Valley, and to my knowledge, has never left the place. She used to be my best friend, while I still lived there, a long time ago.” She got a bit of a dreamy look in her eyes. “It seems such a long time ago, now. Do you know, I wonder if I should return there to have my child… oh, but forgive me, I digress.” She smiled apologetically, another rosy blush on her cheeks. “You asked me a question. I am sorry, my thoughts tend to wonder these days. You see, I am carrying my first foal.” She put one hoof on her belly and looked down, her face revealing everything of the love she felt for the unborn child. After a moment she looked up again. Her eyes wandered on the younger mare’s features, thoughtfully. “She isn’t at all like you, I can tell that much right away. While of course, I don’t know your personality, so I cannot say if you resemble one another on that respect, at least on appearance you are nothing alike. She is white, and has dark red hair, with a lavender streak, and purple eyes. Her symbol is a dark red crescent moon with stars around. She is a very kindly sort of a mare; I am not certain what to tell you about her. She has small powers… the power of illumination, nothing very grand, of course, but it has served for help on occasion.” [[uh, that was slightly weird. But Twilight’s dying to talk about her foal. ]]

((lol!! Oh yeah. The baby. XD I mean foal.))
The shimmering blue mare listened with interest, taking in what she can especially when the other Moondancer was mentioned. It felt right that Moondancer hadn’t heard of the unicorn Moondancer until now because this one in particular lived in Dream Valley, a place Moondancer rarely paid much attention to. She was a little slow to react though when she heard the other mentioning something about returning to Dream Valley to have her child... or something like that anyway. Confused, she tilted her head to the side a little as she waited for the light pink unicorn to further explain.
“You asked me a question. I am sorry, my thoughts tend to wonder these days. You see, I am carrying my first foal.”
She beamed at the unicorn in what was intended to indicate delight and surprise hearing the good news, though she felt that she only acted mostly out of duty. Smiling at Twilight, Moondancer considered the expression - somehow she could interpret it as a kind of loving expression of some form - on the elder mare's face. The problem was the blue mare couldn't understand why Twilight was all fond about the idea of having something growing inside you, living off you, and basically existing inside you like some kind of parasite making your stomach larger which sometimes results in yucky looking stretch marks across the belly. Not to mention birthing was meant to be a mess with all the blood and slime.
Well, she thought to herself. With that kind of thought, it just shows that I am sooo not ready for kids. They are ever so irritable and unnecessary...
Before Moondancer could throw in her congratulations, Twilight had continued on with the much more interesting topic on the unicorn Moondancer of Dream Valley.
She has small powers… the power of illumination, nothing very grand, of course, but it has served for help on occasion.”
She smiled, impressed, even though she wouldn’t really want to admit it. Although she was peeved that someone had the same name as her, she probably could settle with the fact that the other Moondancer at least was a pretty sounding mare, though not as lovely as the Ponyville Moondancer herself, and one with unicorn magic too. Magic was always good. She didn’t think she’d be able to live on in peace with the knowledge of another Moondancer who was hideous and not as pretty as the name.
“She sounds lovely,” said Moondancer, the pleased purr in her tone quite evident. “I would have loved to be unicorn; your kind are such beautiful and magical ponies.” She sighed a little, a sort of dreamy expression on her face, before shaking her head a little, causing her glossy light golden locks to dance around her face delicately. Although she was not keen on the baby subject, she might as well throw in the mention since it wouldn’t be a difficult topic to tackle – for her companion, that is.
“But here, I couldn’t tell that you were pregnant! My deepest congratulations to you – and to the father also, might I add. Though you are quite brave to choose to go on such a journey. Yano, the whole birthing-thing. How far along are you… if you don’t mind me asking?” She added the last section of the question quite quickly, and had the decency to blush prettily as she was a little fearful that she might have trend on a most personal matter or hadn’t inquired in a correct manner. However, no matter how much the idea of birthing disgusted her, she couldn’t help but be a little curious.
((yeah, Moondancer's not really into kids and the birthing thing. =\ ))

Twilight felt this response quite curious, and hence regarded the other curiously as she replied.
"Oh, just a week or so," she said with a smile. "But you understand, I can tell that there's growing something in there." She peered at her belly and caressed it a little, then she looked up at Moondancer again, smiling so that small dimples formed on her pale pastel cheeks. "Well, my situation is less than ordinary in so many ways, I suppose, but you are right in saying that it is brave of me. I do not know if the father will have much to do with the raising of this child."
She looked at her conversation companion, realising that she may be now confusing her badly.
"Here, I'm sorry I must sound confusing. But this is really quite an odd circumstance to begin with. I could tell you all about it, if you were interested, but I don't want to trouble you; we have only just met."
Truth be told, she wasn't sure what she would tell if Moondancer wanted to know more; she rather not revealed her special power, and for some reason felt reluctant to tell her about Glasye, either. The Sunset Stallion had been like a wonderful dream, a fantasy, and to speak of it, she feared, may break the illusion.
