Star's face turned serious. "I've spoken to a few of them. I've seen them recruiting ponies... the question in why..? What do they want...?" Star suddenly realised he was talking normally.
"Have you met any of them?"

Lacy looked away when thinking of the unicorn, unable to decide if she was the real deal or not.
"I may have, or I may not have." She said quietly. "I met a unicorn by the name of Calliope; Calliope is the name of a greek minor goddess of epic and heroic poetry. She also is head of the muses... but the thing is I don't know if she is the actual goddess..."

Star narrowed his eyes and looked at the floor. "Try to stay away from them." He muttered, worried that maybe they would endanger her safety. It was common knowledge that not all gods were good; and his heart would be broken if they did anything to Lace.

"I will." She said with a reasuring smile, though inside she felt herself almost explode in delight. What he said made it seem as though he cared for her, even though they only just met.
((the moon exploded in my dream last night O.o))

Star was keen to get off of the subject of gods, though he continued. "Good. I uh... wouldn't want you to get into trouble." He forced a smile as he blushed.
(That must have been scary. O.o )

Lacy smiled shyly, but souldn't believe her ears. It would have to be the first time she heard a stallion say something like that, that it was hinted that he cared for her.
"You do the same." She said shyly, and continued. "If you still want to see if there are any books on religion and such, I can take you to the bookshelf which they are usually kept in. Umm, I think we do have a few myth books in stock." She looked up at him shyly, waiting a response and admiring him all the same.
((yeah it was, but I got a piece of moon rock ^-^ of course it disappeared when I woke up.))

Star, although he had passed up the offer before, accepted, happy to spend more time with Lacey. "Yes please." He replied shortly.

She smiled shyly and put the novels back on the shelf before taking him to other end of the library where books on topics related to myth and religion where located.
"It looks like the library has quite a number of books under the topic." She said while picking out a few. "Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Norse, Indian, Chinese... these are the most common... Is there any particular ancient civilisation you are interested in?"

"Do you have any books on gods in general?" He asked.

Lacy considered the question for a moment, before turning to the bookshelf and after some while picked out a thick book.
"I think this one might be what you are after." She said, flicking through the pages. "Has all the gods, goddesses from all continents though the amount on each god will vary; information on the lesser known gods are hard to come by anyway." She handed the book over.
((lol. I need to get going, I've been on for a long time. I'll see ya later.))

Star took the book and put it into his trusty brown bag that hung over his shoulder. The book was heavy, but Star was quite strong and could support it.
"Thanks..." he blushed, which felt like the milionth time that day. "Would you... like to come back to my place so that I can thank you properly? After you've finished whatever you're doing of course." He said quickly.

Crystal Lace paused for a moment, blushing, when she heard the question and she said the first thing that came to mind.
"I'd like that." She allowed a shy smile. "I really don't have much else to do here anyway..."

Star's heart gave a leap. He wasn't really inviting Lacey back to his place just to thank her, (She did only get him a book after all) he was inviting her back because he didn't want to part with her.
"Oh, so we should go now?" He said. "My apartments in the neighbourhood."
(Now then?)

Lacy felt the same way; she did not want to part with this pegasus soo soon and was eger to learn more about him. She knew that the books wouldn't sort out themselves, but it wasn't like she hadn't already done that and that there were too many books at the moment to sort out.
"Why not?" She said smiling.
((lol. yes. wheeee, my internet problem has almost been solved! XD))

Star smiled. "okay then." He replied as he led the way out of the library.
