After dodging the white pony with the headphones, Jewel found an empty space on the fountain and sat on its edge, golden wings folded against her sides, barely showing her music noted symbol. Her brown, nearly half-purple forelock fell between her eyes as she turned to look into the water. Dabbling the tip of her hoof absently in the water's surface, she noticed many small ponyville coins dotting the fountain's bottom. Wishes.. Jewel thought with a smile, If only some things were so simple. She paused for a second, I wonder where Peri went off to...

Just as that thought crossed her mind, the rain started to pick up again. Jewel winced as a heavy drop landed between her eyes, but otherwise made no attempt to move from her spot. A few drops turned into a drizzle as the pegasus sat by the fountain, colors growing darker with the saturating rain. Almost hypnotically, she watched the rings form on the water's surface as hundreds of drops landed in the fountain. She never minded the rain.. in fact, many times, she enjoyed it. But this rain was accompanied by a cool wind as well. Standing, she spread her wings in order to fly, but was met with a startling realization. How long have I been sitting here? She asked herself, trying to flap her wings, I'm soaked... Jewel sighed agitatedly, There won't be any flying home then... and furbob it if I'm walking! Looking around her surroundings, Jewel spotted the Cafe nearby. With a sigh and a heavy set of wings, she plodded off in that direction.
