Glasye laughed heartily as Yama produced his new horn, delighted by both the event itself and the purpose Yama intended to use it for, "Very nice!" As the anonymous blue stallion sailed into the crowd of horrified ponies, Glasye grinned, seeing it knock down a number of them and cover even more in spattering blood. "Stiiiiirike!" He reared up and clashed his hooves against the cobblestones. "Gentlemen, fun as this looks, I think I have business to attend to elsewhere.." With a dashing toss of his silky mane, Glasye again reared, then galloped off powerfully toward the Rainbow River... (cont there.. Oh, Rooooosey-dear.. )

It was time for a Just War, so he assembled his army.
The announcement of their arrival in the square took the form of blinding light--the sun, in all its golden glory, concentrated here to blind and pain the evil gods.
Quite a varied assortment stood at Tyr's side. The sun-weilder, with a personal grudge against the darker gods, stood protected in the center of a circle. Despite middle age her yellow coat was still vibrant, and the silver and blue in her mane and tail still shone. It was none other than Dream Valley's reining queen, the flutter pony Sunrunner. Having been dumped in Ponyville by Loki, she was called to defend it. Light would serve Shadow when it was time to push away the Dark. Beside her stood an ever older mare, though dignity lent her strength. Once black coloration had faded mostly to green, and a cut emerald was the symbol on her hip. Emeraldshadow, war hero of Dream Valley and Sunrunner's impromtu bodyguard, waited with her silver flachion for the brilliant light to fade.
Tyr's eldest mage, Aedeminar, placed her dappled grey body in front of Sunrunner. Her magics were also engaged, trying to block off the personal power of the dark gods so that their spells would be weakened or outright thwarted. She was no mere mortal presuming great power--the ancient, immortal Watcher was, when her insanity-touch mind was stirred, quite a threat even to a god.
"This is _,my_ home, or have you forgotten? I will not see it wantonly destroyed. Leave here, or I shall see to it that you are incapable of harm." Tyr watched as the summoned sunlight suddenly vanished.
((OOC: *pets Sunrunner* She shall come to no harm here, but I think that this battle might make a fitting end for my beloved Emeraldshadow. Just thought I'd join the party.))

( Ashley: It's a cruel world. So we'll leave the murdering to old Yama. What say you? xD )
Yama, a little dissapointed to see Glasye go, shoved his horn into the head of another pony, a mare this time.
As he pulled his horn out he bent his head down so that the blood on it would drip onto his outheld tongue. He licked his lips when he finally got a taste.
"Goood..."

Happy whistling sounded and ricocheted off the closed shops as Floral trotted down the main street of Ponyville, oblivious to the danger that lay ahead. Street lights made her golden body glow, like an aura of the supernatural kind. Floral was in a good mood, but she didn't know that she mght have to bloody her hooves...

Set laughed from the dark cloud on which he was standing. He said nothing directly, but merely continued to laugh. Red lightning was crackling beneath his feet.

(Ok...so many ponies to post for ><)
A gray-feathered hoof stepped into view as the masculine mare stopped to take in the scene before her. Her golden eyes jumped lively around, following the natural gleam of anything that reflected the light just so. In this case, it was blood that did the most.
Instead of letting the gore get to her, she c0cked back the bottle of tequila in her left hoof and finished the last quarter of it. Without care where it went, she chucked it carelessly behind her shoulder; shattering making it known the bottle was dead. "I think I'm hammered enough to do this properly," she grinned as if it was a joke.
Another quick survey made clear of Sunrunner's presence. Coon Skin had lived in Dream Valley at some point about ten years ago, what the queen looked like was of common knowledge to her. She seemed like the most logical spot to head to, though the thief wasn't certain really if she belonged to any side. If anything, she could make it there, and perhaps try to find Kail or head to the nursery. Foals needed every bit of protection that adults did.
Without another thought, she held her dagger at arms and bounded into the crowd and towards her destination.
----
The purple mare stumbled near the area close to battle. Though she was not directly in it, she was close enough to it to see all the gruesome details. Weakly Wysteria looked about, trying to find Moon Crystal, or injured parties.... Sadly, all that she could see were all ready dead.
----
(still don't know what to do with Inti ><)
Brigid and Inti galloped from the reaches of the castle with a speed only immortals could possess. It was in no time that they neared the clash of battle, and knowingly they both felt out the positions of all the other gods. Of them, Tyr, Yama, and Set were present.
"We side by Tyr!," Brigid ordered to the other, and the two following mages. With that the beige goddess leapt up beside Tyr and halted beside him. "If I may ask humbly for your permission to force Yama from this land."
Peri Winkle nodded, trying to keep in mind everything that Jewel had told him, treasuring every word. He was out of his element, and Jewel knew that. By following her lead, he could make it out of this along with her. Following the lead of the two other gods, he came to a stop near Tyr, Sunrunner, and the others whom were near the spot.

The golden pegasus was the picture of alertness, watching and taking in all around her, but never letting Peri leave her radar. Adrenaline was pumping in her veins, but no fear showed on her face. She still was slightly afraid, memories of the last battle pouding on the gates of her mind, but reminded herself that courage would lead her through. She felt much more comfortable under Brigid's leadership, and tried at the same time to not think of what Eshu might do to her later. Maybe Brigid would find it in her goddess's heart to prevent Eshu from killing either her or Peri.
Before the pair reached the flanks of the gods they followed, Jewel leaned her head toward Peri, and kept her eyes forward. She said in a soft voice, "Not that I think we won't make it through this, but I thought I'd tell you anyway that I think I just might love you," With this, she marched ahead to stop behind Brigid, ears pricked forward.

The joy within Floral plummeted into fear when she saw the dark liquid running through the dips in the cobblestone road. Blood. The blood of another of her species. Fear penetrated her mind and carried to the deepest corners of her soul, and the happy whistling cut off abruptly. No, she thought, horrified. This must be a dream. I'll wake up and it'll all disappear.
But Set's laugh, the clatter of hooves, the screams of dying ponies filled her sensitive ears. The square blurred. Floral sank to her knees; sick, terrified, sorrowful, angry. The mare was a mess of emotions in that single moment before she collapsed.

Hooves barely touched the cobbled streets as Jol made his way towards the fountain. That 'something' that had drawn him to Eshu was pulling him now. Letting it, the pale orange unicorn moved ever closer. Seemingly unbothered by the shrieks that met his ears and the frenzy of ponies that were attempting to make their escape. A soft chuckle escaped him as he began concentrating on a few unsuspecting ponies. A mind trick or two and they would crumble, or at least lay motionless so that Eshu or the others like him could do as they wished with them. Their bodies would be intact at least, their minds well that was another matter all together.
Tossing his multi-colored mane to the other side he approached the small group around the fountain. He neither bowed nor dipped his head. The stallion cared little to pay respect to those he did not know, or even those he did.
"Eshu?" Jol said not bothering to finish his question of where the dark god had gone.
He had to be nearby. Orange twinkle eyes surveyed the area.

Tyr welcomed Brigid and Inti with a terse nod. "No permission needed. This has gotten personal." Never one to leave things up to just magic, Tyr leapt towards Yama, brandishing his sword. Emeraldshadow was only half a step behind him. **Someone get Set!** He shouted, mentally, to his fellows. Sunrunner and Aedeminar exchanged looks. With a slight nod, 'Mina oepned a hold beneath Set's feet. She hardly expected such a simple trick to work, but it was the first move.
As soon as Brigid appeared Dragonrose pulled up beside her, panting with exertion. Her eyes widened as she saw Sunrunner, but she couldn't think of anything to say. "Here, m'lady..."

Lifting his front right hoof in a mock dainty way Jol mimicked Tyr, "Someone get Set!"
Snorting, the stallion flicked his tail. Honestly. Did they really expect to take these great stallions so easily?
"You can no more 'get him' than you can tame the wind." Jol's comment was directed towards the mortals with Tyr, "But try if you like. I'm sure he would welcome some hoof to hoof combat."
Moving aside Jol motioned with a hoof for somepony to try, "By all means, please. I'd like to see this."

Set's laughter was still ringing. He danced across the black storm as it grumbled and groaned and continued to grow beneath his feet, easily side-stepping the minor spell. He was like a child playing and tossing his mane as he looked down.
"Yes, my mortal playthings," he chided. "Come to Set. Come and show me all you have to offer. I welcome your sacrifice. I will turn none away and drink readily from your veins."
Red lightning shot out in five directions, striking not the gods or their mages, but a handful of the frightened ponies unable to escape. Such was the incredible surge attacking their feeble nervous systems, that their screams could not even begin to breathe, but Set's breathe was heavy with passion. The aura of terror and pain was only growing stronger. He absorbed its fiery sweetness, like that of a young mare, as he, the mighty stallion, took it for himself.
He seemed unconcerned with the presence of the other gods and only then seemed to realize Glayse was gone.
"Glayse!" His voice was commanding. "Where are you hiding? Come out and do your duty." There was the flicker of annoyance in his stance as he searched the square.

Fie Lian landed just outside the square and tucked his dragon-like wings away. There were already two light, two dark, and now two shadow gods. Tyr was fighting for the light, which would normally send Lian straight for the dark side, but he could feel the presence of Glasye elsewhere, and so things were equal. Balanced despite the look of things.
With no side to fight for, Lian reverted to his most normal state - trickster god of the wind. Set may have command of the storms, but Lian had command of the winds of change.
He became a blur as he swept through the crowds, sweeping the wind that had been holding Set up out from under his hoofs. Lian's trademark, nearly crazed laughter followed him through the air.
