HEEELP!!! Dasher gasped. A scooter was on the loose! The purple mare just stared, jumping to her feet. Coon heroicly saved the filly, dashed into the ground ... then got up and started to walk away ... something was wrong, but Dasher did not understand what. Did Coon forget about her? Then the yellow mare started to shout. "THEIF! THEIF!!!" And with that, she was off after him. The peg apparoached him and when she was nearly there, Coon started running. A strange feeling came over Dasher. He stole her amulet. But yet, he cannot evil. She started to run after them. Perhaps he´s sharing my fate! Those emotions was strong for the purple mare. She had been seeking undrestanding, here it was. "COON!" She did not plan anything, but she knew that she had to catch up with Coon and flee with him. She wanted to be with him. And when she caught Peri´s 'Catch that theif', she started to run with all her power. Then the pedant started to glow, and Coon dropped it. Dasher did not understand what was happening, yet she did not really care. She had to catch up with Coon. When they were safe, she could ask everything ... the golden mare was diving, catching the necklace. "You shouldn't take things that don't belong to you." The mare stared right at Coon. The purple youngster was apparoaching them, breathing hard. She runned past Jewel without looking at her, then pushed Coon quite hard in the side; he had to keep running. and wherever he was going, she wanted to be there. Then she half-whispered, under under her breath: "Keep running, Coon! Run!" With a frightened look, she tried to catch his glimpse. Her eyes were wide, scared, yet understanding.
((Bleh, lotsa catch up))

((Oh cha - I know what that's like! And Breezie's not a filly, but it's okay that you called her that, so don't change it - she's like 14 years old.))
Breezie stepped to the side so she wouldn't be run over by the purple mare running out to the thief. But wait - she was concerned for the thief - Coon, apparently.
Uh...who's the bad guy here? That yellow mare looks ready to kill, but I think it was the dark-colored stallion that took something from her... Who am I supposed to be helping out again? Whose side am I on? Uggh, I feel dizzy!

(well, Peri Winkle was the one to save Breezie, but that's ok. Envisions Star in a Forest Gump moment yelling "Run Coon, Run!")
Coon remained still, her golden eyes lingering around the fleeting glance of the white ghosts form. The thief stifled a shiver. Easily brought forth were the memories of the last encounter with an entity equally white in palor. Coon could recall how easily the ghost could see her for whose he was, bother gender and figuratively speaking. Both didn't sit well with her, either.
"It that thing came with a warning label, I'd have guaranteed I wouldn't have gone near that thing," Coon said, a hint of a tiny spiteful growl underlying in her voice.
Star Dasher had taken her time in colliding with her then. The phrase 'frozen stiff' could've easily described what position she was finally being jarred from. Star's voice was urgently in her gray ears, and finally the masculine mare snapped fully into the seriousness of the situation. Coon had to jet. Now.
The gray mare darted towards her side, beginning to start the chase again.
-------
Peri came up to a halt beside Jewel. He let out a sigh of relief when his blue eye made contact with the necklace that was saved. He gave her a reassuring smile, however short lived when Coon bolted.
The actor stifled a growl and prepared to continue the chase.

((Yah, I know Peri saved Breezie - but I figured Star was just seeing what she wanted to see...and Coon did slow the scooter down a little.)) Breezie's head was reeling, but she was a bit relieved to see Peri Winkle arrive. He was the one that saved her, so she was helping him out. That and she owed him one for the whole scooter thing...but she didn't want to think of that at the moment. She looked to him for a hint of what exactly her mission was here, and noticed how he tensed when Coon turned to run. It was obvious now, so she took off down the street again after Coon. though it was in somewhat of a haze from her heaadache.

The golden peg met Peri's eyes, then bared her teeth at Coon. She stood with her chest slightly out, in a firm stance with icy eyes.
"It that thing came with a warning label, I'd have guaranteed I wouldn't have gone near that thing,"
"Oh, you're still going to be sorry you did," She growled, stamping a hoof on the grass. Coon had taken Jewel's most precious possession, and the peg wanted to at least scare her into not trying it again.
As the masculine mare began to run again, Jewel let out a piercing whinny and strode forward powerfully before leaping into the air again in pursuit.
The blue police pony wheezed up to the scene, having not run so fast in quite some time. He tried to ask what was going on, but by the time he got there, most of the ponies were off again!

Coon gritted her teeth as she finally took notice of her persuers. It'd turn into a coon hunt, and the raccoon was not enjoying it. Seeing how swiflty they responded to her movements, the masculine mare kicked in the after burners. The hardest thing to do would be to outrun Jewel in the air.

Breezie was chasing after Coon at a fair speed, but wasn't exactly gaining. Jewel, having the advantage of flight(and a more fierce motivation), was far closer to catching the thief.
Then the mare had an idea - she had no idea why it hadn't occured to her before. Breezie focused hard on Coon, which was a difficult task since she wasn't used to moving targets, and sent a powerful gust of wind around the feet of the retreating "stallion". Shortly after she worried that she may have done something to disrupt Jewel's flight.

A swift moment after Dasher´s whisper, Coon was off again. Jewel was the quickest to follow, then Star came running after. She was only a little tired - when you lived on the streets you had plenty of time to get good at running. But Jewel was quicker then her. This won´t work! I want to be with Coon, but that will have to wait! Firstly I won´t be able to catch up, secondly, I´ll just make Coon easier to find if I follow. Dasher shallowed hard. She felt sad, but she really had to let Coon running, to find him later ... Still there´s time to save him, and I have to take the opportunity. If I can reach the mare in time, I´ll wrestle her the best I can towards the ground. As soon as Coon is gone, I can save myself! Dasher leaped trough the air.

The breeze sent by one of her pursuers left the thief with a 'wind up skirt' feeling, and Coon jumped a moment more so out of surprise than anything else. Curiously she reassessed herself while stumbling a moment, before getting her beat back.
Coon turned her head back just slightly to take in the bulk of her current situation. Slowly she was easing out of her 'raccoonish' antics, and slipping into a more calculating mindset. She had just been visually caught stealing an antique, a haunted antique, from the flying peg. In suite, Jewel clearly wanted a sense of justice to be delivered. This was easy to swallow.
Now...Peri Winkle and Breezie were also giving chase. Coon could probably pick out why the actor was in pursuit, as it had been apparent that he and the lady were significant others. Breezie was a little bit harder to decipher. Apparently the crash hadn't been too bad, considering she was running, but her motive to run was lost to the masculine mare. Certainly, Coon Skin noted, that Breezie would be least likely to catch up and ultimately 'catch' her.
Moe, the lagging straggler, and much to Coon's disliking, was a cop. She'd recalled his appearance at the last Festival Eve party she'd went to, however jumbled and blurry her memory was from that night (without a doubt she recalled the hangover following said party). The thief hardly considered Moe much of a threat, besides the fact the general thought of a law enforcer chasing after her just rattled her nerves.
Star Dasher appeared the most beguiling of the situation. Coon had moments before harmlessly flirted with her, a mix of passing the time and possibly planning a future theft on her person. Now, the young, strikingly cute, mare was more or less trying to nudge her towards an escape, and trying desperately to keep up. Usually no one would want anything more to do with someone appearing to be a thief. It was quite a new experience. Then again, why should I be surprised? I'm so slick I've got mares chasing after me. I deserve a fanclub.
Coon absently ducked into the next alleyway she came across. Pulling stamina from a reserve, she managed to jump on a nearby dumpster and over a separating brick wall, into the neighboring alley, and onward still. At best, it would help weed out her pursuers, knowing all too well it would do nothing to stop Jewel. Perhaps, she'd be able to see Star Dasher another time. Another time, in which she'd ask about her actions.

Breezie smiled when Coon was surprised by the gust of wind she'd sent "his" way. She was hoping to slow the thief down a bit more than that, but it had sort of worked.
But then Coon turned down an alleyway and Breezie heard hooves clomping across what was most likely a dumpster. When she got a bit closer, if she leaned to the side she had a somewhat clear view of the alley - and the wall Coon had apparently vaulted over. Great Breezie - how are you going to keep up with that?
The young mare frowned - she really had no idea. Jewel could fly, but... Then Breezie smiled again - she'd been quite the tree-climber when she was younger, and while it might slow her down, she was positive that if Coon could make it over that thing so could she.

Soon Coon made her way into an alley and over a low brick wall. On the other side, Star Dasher saw a glimpse of the theif disapearing through the hedge. Coon, she thought. There is nothing more for you I can do. There is no point of tackling the pegasus either. I´ll see you around. It felt so sad to have lost her only chance to find a pony like herself. She looked back and made a swift turn. The jewel-symboled male, the filly and the police officer came chasing after the thief. She was sure that nobody belived her to be a theif, too. Quickly, she tried to pick a victim; the one that could be the biggest threat for Coon. She ran in the opposite direction before choosing. First, she focused Moe with her eyes. But then, her glimpse passed the white stallion. He looked slightly stronger ... when Dasher apparoched Peri, she leaped up on her hind legs. She placed her ears towards the neck, and then made an attempt to bite him (if she succeds and if Peri was quick enough to hurt her is up to you). She leaped past the three of them, made a stumbling turn to the left and started running towards another part of the square. Those hedges by the rainbow-brick path was´nt far away ... she tilted her ears backwards. Where they coming?

Breezie watched as the purple mare attempted to bite Peri. Whether she was successful Breezie could not tell, but trying to was not a good thing in any case. "Hey!", she cried as the Dasher took off in the other direction. She remembered Peri's words to not leave his sight, but she just couldn't help herself. Breezie spun around and darted after Dasher, gaining a bit more with every stride. ((There ya go, Whisper Wind - someone to chase her! ))

The commotion on the ground was barely in the golden pegasus's perception. Her intense purple eyes were locked on the racoon-like 'gender-confused' pony like a lioness about to make a kill.
Luckily for Coon, Jewel wasn't so easily provoked to that point of violence. If nothing else, she wanted to give the theif a good, hopefully traumatizing scare. And to prove that she wasn't a mare to be played with.
The golden peg's legs tucked tight against her body as her wings moved in a rhythmic pumping motion, keeping her easily above and over her target. She stayed high enough that the others might see her, and use her as an indicator for the theif's location.
((want Jewel to take her down, Rosey?))
Several lengths off was the wheezing blue police pony. His stomach began to feel knotted from all the pastries he'd consumed before engaging in the chase. And all for what? Some raccoon pony. What did he do? Moe thought to himself in puzzlement, Make a mess of someone's trash cans?
As he finally arrived upon the dumpster, he noticed a few pieces of trash at its base. He made a mental note (Ha.. Moe did something mental?) to add Littering to the charges, if and when he finally caught the theif.

A tear felt as if it was burning in the corner of Dasher´s eye. She wondered if it was too early to look for Coon the very next day ... and there was nobody she could ask. She hoped for life that Coon could shake the flying mare off. Dasher was leaving the square, leaping onto a path. There were houses on either side of her, and she desperately wondered where to flee. Then she heard it; the sound of clappering hooves, slowly getting closer. She froze on the inside. Someone chased her? Yes, she did try help Coon to flee - and there was a lot of ponies, so there could be that somepony choosed to catch her too. Dasher was getting exhusted. Flicking her ears, she looked back. To her relief and surprise, it was the filly! But Dasher was´nt sure she could shook her off. She were getting very tired now... I HATE doing this. Dasher pushed herself as much as she could. I´ll have to find some corner to throw myself into. If she reaches me, I´ll ... I´ll have to hit her.

Breezie was tired and dizzy(now wondering if she'd taken a blow to the head at some point), but was encouraged to see Dasher somewhat slowing down. Thankfully she was young and energetic, so she forced out a burst of speed and was now only a few feet behind Dasher.
"Stop in the name of the law!" Ooooh! I've always wanted to say that!
