Tramp smiled to the foal in a friendly manner. He rather liked foals. He just didn't always know how to behave with them.
"Hello Mookie," he said, feeling himself like an echo.
This is so not the best way to meet girls, he added to himself.

"What should we do now?" Medley wondered out loud, completely forgetting the plan they had made yesterday.

"Uh, I'm not really sure. I guess - yes, that would be nice - " Wing Song looked at Mookie once more. "I think we should all go to the park! Any objections?"

"Oh, park sounds nice," Tramp said, though his mind was wandering somewhere else.

"Okay then. If I knew where on earth the park was..."
Wing Song wondered why Tramp looked so distracted. She liked the stallion, and the way he was willing to help out with Mookie. I wonder if he'd ever want to go out with me. But for all I know, he's just helping to be polite - he could have a girlfriend, or maybe even be married.

"I could sworn I've passed by it before," Medley said thoughtfully. "I'm not very good at directions and locations but I think the park was this way..."
Medley pointed towards the direction she believed where the park was.
"...But I could be wrong," she said shyly.

"Worth a try!" Wing Song turned to the others. "Okay, everyone - follow Medley!"
((Uh...at which board should this be continued? Outer Edges?))

At first Tramp was about to follow the girls, then he realised that neither of them seemed especially certain of where the park was. He smiled and drew his wandering thoughts into order.
"Oh, I know the way," he said. "Come along, it's this way."
[[No, I think it's this same board. Judging by the fact that there's already a thread here titled "spring morning in the park"]]

((Then let's stay in this thread - poor Flashfire needs to catch up anyway - apparently some people here actually have lives.))
Wing Song smiled at Tramp and followed him.

Medley breathed a small sigh of relief. Smiling, she trotted after Tramp and Wing Song, but she kept her pace slow so Mookie could keep up.

(gosh....feel free to trot Mookie along with ya...I do have a partner who feels that she needs computer time too...I don't know why? Ha! So sorry for the lag time) Mookie could smell the fresh air and summer flowers growing not to far away. He smiled and decided to "wink" there...his legs were so tired. He tried to get the adults attention but they were talking and pointing not looking at him. " Um hellu?" he said in a small shy voice. But they didn't hear him...so he decided to go ahead without them. They would catch up...right? With a head shake and a half rear he winked! Surely they would find him...Mommy always could. Until that last time.

Wing Song was walking along daydreaming about the clouds. I wonder if pegasi can fly as high as them...I wonder what it feels like to fly through a cloud...
Suddenly the princess gracefully tripped on her long hair, snapping her out of her thoughts. She picked herself up smoothly and quickly, hoping the others hadn't noticed. Then she realized she hadn't heard Mookie say anything for a while. But her stomach twisted into a knot when the mare turned around to find not a Mookie in sight.
Wing Song gasped. "Uh, guys?! Mookie - he-he's gone! HE'S GONE!!!"

Tramp skidded to a halt, very startled. He had been again lost in his thoughts for a moment, and did not see Mookie disappear, any more than he noticed Wing Song's tripping. He looked around, very concerned. The little foal was simply nowhere.
"Goodness!" he said, turning his head this way and that, his ears swivelling back and forth. "He was just here a moment ago."
Then he realised this was his chance to show the mares what he was made of. Instead of panicking, he collected himself and cleared his throat in a professional sort of way.
"Don't panic, girls," he said to the mares. "He can't have gone far. He's too little to run that fast. We'll find him. He has probably just gone ahead to the park. Let's go look there first, and then we'll spread out to search for him."
He wasn't sure how far he could let the mares go alone, if they didn't know the city very well.

Wing Song was too busy worrying about Mookie, so she only caught snippets of what Tramp was saying. But he mentioned that Mookie had just gone ahead to the park, and nodded her head slowly.
The princess was able to calm herself down when taking note of how calm Tramp seemed, so she gathered her thoughts enough to respond. "Yes, that would make sense. I think heading to the park together and splitting up if he's not there sounds like a marvelous idea." That said, she flashed a smile at Tramp.

Tramp smiled and nodded.
"Come along then," he said and started to trot off at a goodly pace. "As I said, he can't be far yet."
