Solar ran frantically down the back alley, desperately trying to hide from the police she was sure would follow soon. All streigth drained, she sank to her knees, and collaped in a heap.

"Running won't do any good. If the police don't hunt you down, Misty's boyfriend will." Deja rolled his eyes to himself when he called Sonic Misty's boyfriend - stupid stallion. "Now get me out of here - anywhere but here. I may only be in your head, but trust me - there's plenty of damage I can do from here."

Solar, not bothering to get up, gave a depressed, if calm, sigh. "Yes, Deja Vu." She whispered. "I know. But what can I do? I don't know what I want to do anymore. I really don't know anything." With that she closed her eyes, desperately trying to get to sleep. She really didn't care what happened anymore.

"You're not getting off that easily. If you get caught, it will do no good. Now are you going to stand up, or shall I make you?" Deja really didn't know if he could control her...he had with Misty before. And he hadn't tried too hard then - at this point, who cared how much he screwed up this mare's life? He might as well see how much power he had.

With a reluctant, sad sigh, Solar heaved herself to her hooves. "I'm up."
She really didn't want to know what Deja could do.

"Good. Now get out of here, don't let them catch you. Just find some shop to duck into. Then when it's all clear you are going to go find Misty and get me back where I should be. She's virtually defenseless, so tracking her down and getting the mental link going won't be hard." Deja didn't know why he was telling her all this - would she use it to her advantage after he was back in Misty's head? She wouldn't dare.

Solar, defeated by this stallion, walked tiredly into the nearest shop. (Cont. In....... hmm........ why not the bookstore?))

[Obviously, there is no police who can help them...so, how do we get the story going?]

((Well, let's pretend that Solar and Misty decided top priority was to track down Solar first, rather than run to get Moe.))
Misty was trotting briskly down the streets, at an inconsistent pace because she was unsure of whether or not she actually wanted to catch Solarvoid. She was definitely not a good pony, and had to be stopped - but could Misty stop her, or was she just endangering herself? And it's not like Solar had stolen anything - well, she'd "stolen" Deja in a sense, but Misty didn't want him back, did she?
So why am I following her? She could hurt other ponies...but she could also hurt me for trying to stop her...

Misty sighed and looked up and down. If I were an evil psychologist that pretended to help ponies but really sucked out their souls, and I had just had a mental breakdown because I'd ended up with a pony from another pony's head in my head because of a failed attempt to suck out their soul, where would I...oh, this is hopeless!
The mare flopped down in the middle of the street, not familiar with how not to attract attention in public - or how to behave in public at all, besides the basics. But then she realized that there was part of that statement that she could relate to, so she jumped back up again. Mental breakdown! Of course! Now there was something that was, ironically, comfortably familiar.
Whenever, something had gone terribly wrong, or she was depressed with her current situation, Misty Moonlight would escape into the world of whatever book she could get her hands on. Reading was one way to totally temporarily distract your mind. She looked around. I wonder if there's a library here...?
((Cont. at the Castle library, after some wandering on Misty's part to locate it.))
