Ice Crystal grew concerned with the commotion following the enigmatic illness. His ears flattered; he had privately hoped not to nurse the illness himself, lest jeopardize the remaining community. He then considered that he hadn't felt the physical effects, and that locating a cure of sorts was the priority ...
He calmly nodded.
"I would be more than happy to."

"I would be more than happy to."
The purple stallion half-smiled, nodding his head toward the open street in front of them. He has glad to have an escape from the pressures of the situation they were now leaving behind them. Kimono wasn't a pony to enjoy drama or stress. After all, most of his days were spent peacefully with his nose in a book, or writing his own volume of Ponyville's history.
"It's nice to have company," The purple stallion said, tossing his purple mane away from his eyes. He meant it in all sincerity.. while Kimono was easy enough to get along with, he didn't keep his friends very easily, though he remained oblivious as to why. At the end of the day, it usually boiled down to 'the luck of the Rainbow' for him. For the most part he remained undiscouraged.
"The balloon shop is right down there, I believe.." The lantern-symboled pony attempted to recall, "I think at least one of the Champions will be nearby."

Ice Crystal trotted alongside the purple pony onto the streets. Privately, he was happy to have been accepted by which ponies he had met. It wasn't as though he had feared neglect by the Ponyville members, but earlier he had been anxious in befriending others. Things may have changed since Lucky's time; thankfully, Ice Crystal believed, they may not have.
He smiled in agreement.
"A balloon shop?" They really did have everything here! "Let us hope that he hasn't departed just yet ... "

"A balloon shop?"Kimono half-smiled, remembering how few things there were when he first moved in, and how the place had grown since. "I think that, if you look hard enough, you can find just about anything you'd need in Ponyville," The purple stallion glanced briefly at the shops they passed, "My favorite of which, is the bookstore," He continued, trying his best to be social. It didn't always come easily to such a solitary kind of pony, but one on one conversations were the easiest, and deep down he did long to make lasting friends. "Let us hope that he hasn't departed just yet ... " "She," The purple stallion smiled, shaking his head. "Well, the one I know is a 'she'. The Champs are otherwise pretty equally divided.." ((ooc: continue at the balloon shop? the thread is here: pone.proboards20.com/index.cgi?board=Ville&action=display&thread=1123386983 ))

"Do you think I am?"
Breezie considered the question for a moment. "Well I dunno... I mean, how should I-"
Suddenly it hit her like a ton of bricks - the questions about how long she'd been sick, and the symptoms...
"I'm spreading the disease!", she wailed. The filly couldn't believe she hadn't realized it before. She had been under the impression that it would be OK to be outside - she already had the disease, after all. What she hadn't realized that while she would be safe, she would be endangering the lives of others.
