"Mmhmm..." A smirk crept onto her elegant features.
Going along with the sibject change, she tilted her head. "Nothing as of yet. Unless you count making sure my other half doesn't get into any trouble."
She gave a devilish grin, resembling a smirk.

He returned the smirk. "I'm going to assume that we aren't serious enough yet for you to be referring to me. So I would guess that you're talking about your brother, right?" he asked with a hint of friendly sarcasm. "Not that I'd mind if you were..referring to me, I mean." He stumbled through the last few words.
"Anyway, I was wondering because there's this club I've been meaning to go to, I just haven't had anybody to go with. What d'ya think?" he asked.

Dallas didn't bother giving Drummer a straight answer. Instead, she only smiled.
"If you're referring to Suite 66, then I'd be delighted to go." She gave him a grin.

A surprised look crossed Drummer's face.
"You've heard of it then?" he asked. He wondered how she'd heard about the club. "That wasn't on my tour!" he laughed.

Dallas chuckled softly at Drummer's reaction. "A few friends of mine invited Tristan and I over to the club when it first opened, about two years ago. Then my dear brother got a job there."
She sipped at her glass of milk. "It's a breeding ground for freaks. That's how I met one of my band mates."
She shot Drummer a smirk. She wasn't known for being the most normal pony around, back home.

He snickered. "Breeding ground, huh? Sounds like a blast!" he gave her a grin.
"Well, do you think you wanna go? I might not be freaky enough, you know! But, we could go anyway and see what happens."

Dallas grinned. She was glad he still wanted to go.
"Oh it is. The regulars are awesome." She smiled at the thought of her old friends.
"I'd be more than happy to go." A thoughtful expression passed across her face. "Tristan's working tonight, too." She rolled her eyes and grinned. That kid was always working.

"Well, then...It's a date!" he smiled and licked his lips. "I'm looking forward to it."
Just then he remembered something.
"Here," he said as he grabbed her hoof and began writing on it, "My phone number! I meant to give it you last night, but it slipped my mind. It's my cell." he finished writing the number and threw the pen back on the counter.
"What time do you wanna get down there tonight?" he asked.

The corners of her mouth twitched upwards into a smirk. She, too, was looking forward to tonight. Glancing at the number on her hoof, she inwardly grinned.
Bi-colored eyes sparkled as she looked up at Drummer. "How about around nine?"

"Nine is perfect, my dear!" he said in a dramatic voice. "I'll be counting the minutes."
He took her now empty dish and placed in the tub below the counter.
"Until then, though, I gotta work..." he said with a pout. "So I will see you tonight." With a quick wink, he disappeared into the kitchen.

Dallas only smiled as Drummr went about his business. He was so adorable. It was going to be a long day waiting for nine o'clock to roll by.
Glancing back down at her hoof, she absently stared at the number. It wasn't long before she was off in her own little world.

Drummer waited on customers, swept the floor, and baked a few tarts before his work day was finally over. It was later than he usually got off because of a last minute rush. He was looking forward to his date with Dallas. After a few last minute tasks, he waved to Cotton Candy and headed out the door towards his house.

Finally ready to leave the cafe, Dallas slid off of the bar stool and headed for the door.
On her way out, she did a double take on the light blue stallion. A grinned formed on her face as she pushed the door open with her back and left the cafe.
