Tramp smiled to the mares as he listened to them going on about the foal. He thought their enthusiasm rather cute. Very much like mares, but cute nevertheless. They might make good mothers some day. Tramp recalled his own mother. She hadn't been much of a mother in a traditional kind of way, but Tramp still missed her. He threw the thought from his head and smiled to the mares as they suggested he would join them with the fliers.
"Yes, I would like to join you," he said. "The poor foal must be taken care of."
He wasn't sure why he was agreeing to coming with them. His thoughts began to go back on Fluttershy. He was on his way to meet her. Why was he bothering with these two, when they appeared too involved with the foal in any case to notice him? But perhaps it was his good heart. He recalled Gibberish, long ago, when Rogue had brought her in to their camp. Of course they had taken care of her, Tramp for one wouldn't have had it in any other way.

Wing Song miraculously was able to momentarily take her mind of Mookie. But maybe it wasn't much of a miracle, with this stallion around.((Yah - and WS doesn't know Tramp's name yet...))

(((so sorry guys...went out of town this weekend...and forgot to tell you guys to keep Mookie eatting or something. An adoption sounds fine...but give it a few days to have you look for his parents. They will never turn up...he is truly lost. ))))
Mookie slurped down the last of his soda. He had pretty much ignored the strange stallion...but now. He didn't quite trust him. He hopped out of the chair and scrambled underneath of the table...He was so tired and scared. He looked up at the mares, "Can we go home now?" He asked.

((Yah - I was thinking they'd look for his parents first and all - even though we all know they'll never show up! ;D Oh - and yah, we've just been making it seem like Mookie's been preoccupied with eating this whole time.))
Wing Song stared at Mookie in concern for a moment. Could he be scared of the stallion? No - that wouldn't make sense...would it? Then she felt extremely guilty when the colt asked to go "home". He wouldn't even be going to one of their homes - they'd be dumping him off in the nursery, and he'd probably think he'd been abandoned. But she wasn't about to say all that right out loud. "Sure, kiddo", she said with a forced smilel.
((I'll wait for everyone(Dark Crescent, Cocoa, Flashfire) to confirm that we're actually leaving before we exit this thread. I've already been mentioning that Mookie's time in the nursery would be too brief to bother even posting as him in there. So we could just post in Ponyville as them all walking there, and then we could jump to the next morning when Wing Song, Medley, and possibly Tramp pick him up.))

((Kay - I don't think Dark Crescent will object, so I'll start a "Walking to the Nursery" thread in Ponyville.))
