(ooc: Gah...been putting this off long enough..)
"He is right, lass. We are enemies now. Are you still certain you wish to slumber in the hospitality of him."
"Stop screwing with our heads, hasn't Eshu done enough of that tonight?"
At that instant Inti gave Peri rather harsh nugge in the shoulder with his elbow. The last thing a mortal wanted on thier agenda was to irritate Brigid. Luckily Brigid didn't hear him, or at least wasn't paying attention. She was focusing on Eshu. He followed her lead an sensed him out as well.
Once he had conformation that Eshu had left the building, he sighed half-heartedly. He didn't know how much longer he could keep this up. He hated the dark gods as much as the next light, but they were also a constant reminder to him that a war was approaching. People will get hurt and killed sooner or later. To most, Inti was considered a simple and peace-loving god. He couldn't stand seeing the harm of others on any side.
"Well, that went well." He said finally looking at Brigid.

Brigid remained silent a moment in response to Inti's statement. Things had gone well. Neither side broke out in fight, and that in it was always a positive when dealt with light and dark gods. "Aye," Brigid agreed thoughtfully to the other, "It could've been worse. It could've been Set or Yama."
The later name was said darkly, a twinge of negativity to it. At the sudden thought of the death god, Brigid let out a long sigh. It had been too long since she'd relaxed her muscles, and her body ached from the previous battle. She truly made a mistake the day prior, she should have known better.
"Well," Peri began, "If Eshu's the least to worry about of the dark gods, it always could be possible you can help him without having to fight us, or me. If Aloha had seemed open of what he was doing, then maybe Eshu sees it in his best interests to keep his mages content. If you're content only by means of not confronting us, then maybe you can get away with it." He kept a hopeful optimistic face as his eye trailed to Inti for his opinion.

"If you're content only by means of not confronting us, then maybe you can get away with it."
"I definitely am content by not fighting you, but I have yet to even imagine what else I'm going to be up against," Jewel replied, staring into the distance for a second before grounding herself again and looking at Peri. He was so kind.. she hoped more than anything not to be his enemy. The golden pegasus extended her wings briefly in an arched stretch, then folded them back at her seated sides. She smothered a yawn with her hoof.

Peri Winkle would have mentioned something along the same lines as Jewel, he honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but all thoughts were thrown aside at her sudden expression of fatigue. He headed towards his linen closet for a pillow case. "Oh man, it's late, I should get you a pillow or something."
Quickly he ran over sleeping options. Technically, Peri Winkle would offer a guest, especially a female guest, his bedroom while he slept on the couch (despite his bedroom having two separate beds). Considering that spare bed in his room was all ready occupied by Inti, he wasn't certain offering her to sleep in his bed sharing a room with someone she barely knew was a good idea. The actor knew that Inti would do nothing to harm Jewel, but did Jewel know this?
Then the matter of Brigid came to mind, and Peri realized that there was no real way to please her without being offensive.
"I'm really not sure in a sleeping arrangement that'll please everyone. There's two beds in my room, and the couch will pull out for two. It's natural that the mares and stallions be separate--"
"You do not expect me to sleep on that piece of furniture, do you?," Brigid said coldly with a chilling face. Peri knew this was trouble. "Well, uh, no, but--"
"Then it's settled. Inti and I shall take the beds in your room whilst you take the 'couch'."
Peri Winkle expression turned one of beat red in embarrassment. He began to stutter something unrecognizable in objection, before Brigid cut him off once again. "Really, your chivalry is commendable, but if the mare is comfortable with sleeping surrounded by us, than there should be no problems if you shared the same sleeping area."
She looked towards Inti with a smug expression. Then, only in thoughts to him, It's amusing to give them a 'push' in the right direction.

Jewel's cheeks turned a slight pink and she quickly became fascinated with the floor in order to not meet the eyes of the others. Her heart skipped a beat at the idea of being so close to Peri in such conditions for so long a time. She did know, on a realistic level, that if she slept on the floor, her back would be all kinds of thrown out of place in the morning.
"Well.. I guess we don't have much of a choice now, do we?" She asked softly.

"Good, it's settled," Brigid continued, a haughty tone to her voice, her face still containing the smug expression. She slowly meandered into Peri's bedroom, looking back to say, "I do not believe that my injuries should leave any unpleasant...stains on your bed."
Then, she looked at each one for a short moment, before saying "I wish ye all pleasant dreams." The beige goddess was then out of sight, retiring to Peri's room.
Peri was still blushing furiously, feeling a little insignificant that he had not been able to just tell Brigid no. Though, reflecting on the fact even Inti had trouble doing exactly that, it made him feel just slightly better. "Ok then, I guess we should just go to bed."
His green eye stole a darting glance to Jewel, before he handed her one of his spare pillows. Not once did the blushing lessen in intensity. You have to stop this! You're an actor; you can control your emotions! And you don't want her to get the wrong impression!

(in the room nextdoor) Angel suddenly heard voices coming from the room next to the one she was in. She quietly placed her ear to the wall and heard them speaking.
"Good, it's settled, Ido not believe that my injuries should leave any unpleasant...stains on your bed."
Angel's eyes widened. She didn't know there was another sick pony in the Castle! She turned around to face the pony in the bed. She was afraid that the pony wasn't going to wake up. Angel bit her lower lip. She didn't know what to do. She had other things to do. She thought about getting professional help. She decided to get some help. She wondered if any of the ponies next door could help. She decided to go into the room and see herself.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Angel flew gracefully into the other room. She landed and opened the door. She saw a white stallion with blue, aqua, and purple hair. She also saw a few more ponies. Angel smiled at them. "Sorry to interrupt, but there is a sick pony in the room next door, I was wondering, could any of you help her? I am not sure what to do, you see. Because I found her outside of the castle earlier today, she needed water. And I gave her some water. But now she won't wake up." Angel blinked.
(OOC: I'm not sure where Emberly is, but she hasn't been here in a while, and she plays the sick pony, hmm.....)
"Thank you," She responded quietly, meeting his eyes for a second. I can't believe this... She grinned inwardly to herself. The pegasus started to remove the pillows so she could help unfold the couch. "So um.. what side do you want?" Her purple eyes glinted with mischief. "You feeling okay? You look a little.. flushed," The golden peg grinned.
(ooc: If Angel was so concerned over said ill character, why had she waited until an odd our late at night to seek help, especially from a room where all that could have been heard moments before was arguing. Usually, if someone were to seek assistance, they'd want to stay away from areas containing verbal assaults.
For the most part, Emberly hasn't posted in MONTHS. In a case like this, you should literally drop the current interaction with the character on hiatus, and go on with your character's life.)
Peri looked up as the door to his home suddenly swung open again or the third time that night. He was filled with a mix of surprise and mild fear that it may have been yet another god barging into his abode. Seeing it wasn't, Peri Winkle wasn't sure whether to be thankful by the sudden interruption, or upset that he couldn't settle to bed sooner.
However, before he could say or do anything in response, Brigid's mental voice reached out to her from inside the bedroom. I am going to ask that you DO NOT step into the home of someone unannounced again, especially so late an hour. If you are that concerned for the foal, go seek out a pegasus of sea green hues, she will heal the child if it is ill. Now LEAVE.
"Peri?" Jewel cocked her head and looked at him with a curious smile. "You there?" She laughed softly to herself and made up the bed as best she could. "So.. which side do you prefer?"
Assuming that Angel would heed Brigid's words of advice, Peri returned to look back at Jewel. By now, he had a resonable control of his emotion. "The left is fine." he smiled before crawling on his side.
The pegasus nodded in reply. Before climbing into bed, she took a moment to stretch her wings to their fullest extent, then shook her body in a shudder-like way. She sighed tiredly, then crawled into the sofa bed next to Peri. Folding her wings carefully, she nuzzled her face against the pillow and tucked her front legs against her chest, facing Peri. Jewel took in a deep breath and let it out slowly, trying to relax. She looked at the stallion next to her, "Good night."
"I'm really not sure in a sleeping arrangement that'll please everyone. There's two beds in my room, and the couch will pull out for two. It's natural that the mares and stallions be separate--"
Inti was about to offer that he sleep on the floor, since he was quite used to it. Grass-weaved beds at home would become tattered and worn over time, and often had to be rebuilt. In the mean time he’d lay some grass on the floor and sleep there with a wool blanket. This kind of thing wasn’t considered an inconvenience by any means. It was just another way of life. Before he could speak the cream mare interjected.
Finally, they (more like Brigid) decided that he and she would take the two beds while the couch was left for Peri Winkle and Jewel. Inti was really surprised. Brigid seemed too proper to decide that the bedrooms be mixed-sexes. What surprised him even more was what she said to him through her thoughts next.
It's amusing to give them a 'push' in the right direction.
Did she just actually, dare he say it, joke? It was probably merely sarcasm but still, he had never heard her say anything like that before, especially directly to him. He smiled unsurely, not exactly certain what to make of it. Who knows, maybe she was actually starting to loosen up.
When she left for her bed, Inti glanced at Jewel, who was blushing, and then at Peri and grinned. He could see the connection that was going on here and it did indeed amuse him. He elbowed Peri in the shoulder again and repeated Brigid’s words with his own special touch. “Yeah, pleasant dreams, tiger.”
And with that he turned and left for the bedroom as well. He walked in quietly and took all his jewelry off so the jingling wouldn’t irritate the goddess thought the night. First he removed his golden earrings and set them on the nightstand one by one as he took them off. He was humming some ancient tribal tune to himself, as he knew Brigid was still up, and there was no worry to wake her from sleep. He removed his necklace next and then finally his golden tail cuff. It was a rare occurrence that anyone, mortal or immortal, would see his tail loose. It flowed down to the floor like lava from the highest volcanoes, shining and a color of burning orange.
He got into bed and suddenly felt the presence of another in Peri’s apartment. His ears swiveled outward as he listened. He looked over to Brigid and could tell she was transmitting a message, and not the friendly kind.
“Aw, come on, Brigid,” He said sympathetically as he wiggled in the bed, trying to get comfortable. “Don’t tell me you turned her away….”
(ooc: Nice new avatar Setlla. heh heh, and normally Brigid would agree to having the rooms divided by sex, but she trusts Inti. Besides, you figure her and Jewel still aren't the best on terms, and it would be easier to avoid someone accidentally kicking her injuries if she slept on a couch. That and Brigid's too good for the couch, hah hah)
Brigid looked over to Inti with a somewhat denoted expression. "I am merely directing her to a quicker and more reliable means to solve her problem. If I were to 'turn her down' I wouldn't have offered any help at all. If you wish to waste the time you could be sleeping, by all means, go out there and help her, don't let me stop you."
With that she gently lowered herself to Peri's bed, flinching once or twice from her own injuries until she was comfortable. Pointedly she continued to look at him, waiting to see what he would in fact do.
Peri nuzzled his pillow before exhaling a long breath into it, before turning his head back to Jewel. He watched as she stretched her powerful wings out in awe, only diverting his eyes to avoid an assumption of starring. "Yeah, pleasant dreams." He stifled a yawn before snuggling his head down into the pillow and shutting his eye.
As she started to attempt to fall asleep, the pegasus moved her legs slightly, trying to warm the sheets from her body heat. Having her wings against her back helped this effort some, but she couldn't shake her chill. Inching toward Peri subtly, Jewel arched her neck slightly and rested the soft part of her muzzle against Peri's chest, nuzzling a little to get comfortable. She let out another soft sigh and tried to think of pleasant things.
