Set's eyes closed as the words passed her lips. It seemed as if dark chocolate was melting on his tongue. His eyelids fluttered. He raised his hoof between them.
From Rose's chest came a shimmer of light. It drew away from her heart at Set's command. It was an illusion, but only he knew that. He let the bit of sparkling light dance in the air a moment before it turned a blood red color. He inhaled, taking the light deep into his lungs where it was soaked up by his body.
"We are bonded, you and I," Set said. He then drew away and thrust his weight forward as he straightened. "Now, I'm off to walk the perimeter of the house...to be sure it is safe. You stay here with Tsuwari. Get some rest." He stopped at the door to look back at her. "Do you...need something to help you sleep?"

Rose watched, as Set performed is minor magic trick, and noted that she didn't seem to feel any different than she just had. Aside her nervousness and down time of the latest dramatics, that was.
She let out a relieved sigh while looking down to the peaceful Tsuwari as Set began to talk to her. "No, I should be fine.," she replied, "Thank you."
It felt odd to say the last two words, however, it just seemed like she felt obligated after he asked her something in what seemed minor concern. Considering, Rose had a feeling that demeanor would change soon.

Set nodded and turned to leave.
His ethereal spirit clicked its heels, calling after Glayse.
Join me. We have much about your freedom to discuss.
(Exit to outside. I guess I'll start a new thread.)

Right behind you.. Glasye responded, following Set. The topic was of his most dire interest, after all.

Rose gently lowered her foal back into his own bed. With the same gentle manor, she placed the covers snugly back into place. Lastly, she left the slumbering Tsuwari with another kiss on his forehead.
Now returning to her own bedroom, she took liberty to still close and lock her bedroom door. The unicorn was well aware that Set was probably a strong stallion and could easily knock the door down if not use magic to open it up, but Rose liked to feel the security of being able to shut out the world. Just a minor security.
Slowly she crept up into her bed and pulled the loose, thin blankets over her. The storm had ebbed, that at least had given Rose Rebellion some comfort and ease in the process of getting to sleep. There was nothing worse than a thunderstorm and getting asleep....well, aside Glayse and the situation that had just occurred. "What have I gotten myself into?," she rubbed her temples as if she had a throbbing head ache.
The unicorn looked back to the corner of her room where a wicker rocking chair was established (for when Tsuwari hadn't been weaned and was hungry late at night). Instantly her eyes landed on her prized childhood stuffed animal, the dog she'd taken out back when Glayse had died. When she was stressed Rose often pulled her out, this was one of those times.
Holding it in her bed now, she closed her eyes and breathed in the air around it. Oddly comforting, Rose tried focusing upon other things, debating whether or not she would give the stuffed toy to Tsuwari one day. The unicorn would have rather given it to a daughter; however, Rose had made a resolution to not have other children. Having more children meant she'd have to become involved with another stallion, and frankly, Rose wasn't sure if she could love someone as she'd loved Glayse. Though she argued with herself whether or not it was love that was with Glayse.
Despite that, Rose was uncertain whether Tsuwari would appreciate the stuffed animal like she had. Although it was a dog, and little foals went well with puppy dog tails, a stuffed animal was still a girlish oddity.
Rose yawned, shaking off the silly discussion waging in her head. Shortly after, her eyes finally drooped shut, her mind wandering to sleep.
Broken glass scattered about the beige carpeting, the remains of a vase. Flowers and water seemed to encircle the broken pieces, marking the accident.
Following the moment of realization, the quite young Rose Rebellion's eyes began to well up. "Oh no....Mama's vase! I-I didn't mean ta! It-It..," she began to sputter out.
Tears trailing her cheeks, little Rose began a frantic search for glue. She had to fix it! Her mother loved that vase!! The glue was up much too high for her to reach, Rose swiftly ran to the closet for a broom. Using the handle to reach the desired item, only managing to knock the entire self's contents along with it.
The red unicorn foal yelped as most of it fell on her, fresh tears springing forth. At this time, a much older replica of Rose came bounding it. She was her grandmother, watching her whilst her parents were out. "Rebel? Rose baby, are you all right?"
Rose looked up, wiping her eyes, "No! I broke Mama's vase-and-and-I tried to fix it! But I can't!!" She began to cry again.
Her grandmother gently hoisted her from the ground, holding her eye to eye. "Child, sometimes you can't fix your mistakes. In that case, you can own up to them, and learn from them."
