Dark walke calmly up to the hill's top, and peered silently at the thousands of Moon Roses. He waited silently for Moondancer to arive, silently admireing the roses. "No matter how many times I see these Moon Roses, I always think of home."

Moondancer walked up next to Dark quietly, admiring the Moon Roses also.
"Wow... I didn't know there were so many here..." She siad quietly. "I didn't know you could find them here either..." That is unless Dark secretly made some appear...

Dark turned to Moondancer, just as the gental ribbons of a blue and silver rainbow appered and slowly drifted around him. "I'm glad you could make it, My Lady. It's still amazeing I made all of these flowers bloom..." Dark closed his eyes as the faint stripe floated around him gently.

"Yeah..." She siad quietly. She turned her head to look at him, only to see him standing with his eyes closed.
Moondancer watched him curiously. He was strange in a mysterious way. Maybe it was because of his Ninja abilities or something...
"Are you alright?" Moondancer asked nervously.

Dark's eyes opened again as a slight blush reddened his white face. "I'm sorry. I might as well tell you now." Dark took a calm breath, and spoke again. "Since my birth, I was born, raised and trained to merge with the Moon Rainbow. Please pardon my sudden silence, for it was simply asking a question of me."
Dark suddenly worried that he might have messed up his chance. Fortunetly, he came up with a cunning cover. "Moondancer, is it? It is perhapes the most lovely name I have had to grace my ears. Tell me, are you by chance a dancer?"

"Oh ok..." Moondancer said. MoonRainbow?...
She blushed when Dark spoke of her name. "A dancer?" She repeated. "Well, not anymore, I guess. But the 'Moon' part of my name is true in a way." She smiled. "Well, lets just say I've always been fasinated by it. I remember being a child and I'd always stay up late to gaze at the full moon. I always found it as lovely as Sunsets... What is the Moon Rainbow like anyway?... If it's ok that I ask."

Dark smiled a bit, partly from being relaxed, and partly from being asked about things he held in the highest honnor. "No, not at all. The people of my homeland knew and worshiped many Rainbows; The Rainbow of the Moon, the Sun, the six Elemental Rainbows; Water, Fire, Earth, Wind, Metal, and Wood, the Rainbows of Life and Death..." Dark shook his head a bit. "Surpizeingly, we also belived they were all from a single whole. My village worshiped the Lunar Rainbow, the Rainbow of the Moon. And now, myself and that very Rainbow are one."
Dark sighed before continueing. "Our way of life was focused on the Moon. The moon's phase apon our birth was what shaped our lives. New moons were Trickster and pranksters, but with just cause, such as making fun at bad moves and ideas. Cresent moons were our sages and the ones who keep our mystic powers strong. Half moons were our Judges, and sometimes leaders, for they were born under half light and shadow, and saw both sides of all issues. Those born under the Gibious moon, or when it was nearly full were our historians and entertainers; Perhaps your were born then. I was born under the Full moon, the moon that marks our greatest warriors."
He paused, letting the information sink in. "I'm very sorry if that was a bit much all at once; There was a lot to say. The ninjas of my lands worshiped the Moon, and the equaly honnorable sammuri worshiped the Sun." He soon smiled about what she said about herself. "I'm quite sure you were a graceful and beautiful sight to behold when you danced."

Moondancer listened with interest.
"Wow... I never knew that." She said with a great deal of honesty. "I didn't know the moon's phase effects one's life like that. And I didn't know about all those rainbows either..."
She blushed again, flattered by his words. "Well, don't expect me to dance for you or anything. Long time ago, I don't think I'll be able to dance as well as I did." She flicked her hair and gazed into Dark's neon green eyes. "So, what do Ninjas like yourself do for a living anyway."

Dark gazed at Moondancer in wonder. In a way, the scars of his heart might have a chance to heal quicker than he thought. "Well, I am mostly a mercenary and assasin. It is my way of life to coat my sword with blood, but only of the guilty. I've served many a person, from mighty warlords to rich and powerful Shoguns, the lords of my home land. Those who wished for my skills in the name of justice had my sword at their side; Those who wanted my skills to further their evil plans soon found themseles face down in their own blood. I fight because that is the path I was trained to take since my birth, for one can never truely escape their chosen desteny that the Moon chose for us apon our births."
Dark turned back to Moondancer, a bit of a pasionte fire burning deep within the neon green orbs. "I firmly belive that no matter how long it has last been that you danced, you are ether just as skillful or even more graceful than you once were. In fact, I think your danceing of today would put the danceing of yesterday to shame. But, that's just the opion of one stallion to a filly who's very steps are grace and beauty in themselves of which the Rainbow of the Sun, in all his pride and glory, turns red with sheer envy that he was not the one to craft your lovely and beautiful shell."
Dark turned away again, blushing so much his white face was turning red. "But... Uh... That's just how I see you."

"It sounds like a very hard life indeed." She murmured. She had never meet an Ninja before, excluding the assassin RainbowFlash. Moondancer didn't know what happened to her after the collapse of the castle.
Moondancer held her breath upon hearing the word of which Dark last spoke. In side, she felt like melting, just to think that one like this Ninja would think that she was beautiful... Come'on Moondancer! I'm sure lots of other stallions think your beautiful. You can't just let a stallion take you because he said this whole heap of sentimental stuff... but it was beautiful the way he said it...
Moondancer smiled at him, though with the arguement happening in her head, she didn't have much to say... except: "Really?"

Dark turned back to her, fighting the blush off his face. "Lady Moondancer, if I have lied to you about how I see you or think of you, then may the Moon Rainbow take my life and destroy my body so no trace of it remains to futher be a soreness apon your gorgeous eyes. To lie to a lady would be a violation of my Code of Honnor, a thing that I up hold with my very life, and the way of my people is that to violet one's code is to make one's own life forfet." The look on Dark's face was dead serious. The Rainbow of the Moon appered at his side, the shimmering blue and silver Rainbow playing with his long, red scarf.
"You are the most beatiful philly I have ever seen, My Lady. Every last detail I see about you is a image of sheer perfection. That is how I see you, and reguardless of how I feel, it does not matter without a return." Dark stood silent as the Rainbow continued to play with the ninja's scarf.

Moondancer was practically speechless. She didn't know what to saw at all this time. The words that Dark spoke of; it made her melt, still. But then another part of her was all awkward. Did she like this guy; yeah, better than before when she first met him. He is sweet and goregous, even though he could be quite brutal and voilent. Not to mention he was an assassin... but did she like him, as in that way? She wasn't sure, though she felt something flare up deep inside her when he spoke to her and when she looked into his eyes... though she wasn't quite sure of what it was.
Moondancer paid no attention to the rainbow, for she didn't quite know what it was anyway. She smiled thinking up something quicklike.
"Your words touch me deeply, good Ninja." She said. "No one has ever spoken like that to me before. I would like to speak fine words about you, but I'm not that well with words... And yet you only speak of my beauty. You don't really know the rest of me." She was testing him, seeing if he did, or he just loved her image more.

Dark nodded to Moondancer, understanding her arguement clearly. "My lady, I understand that you must not be used to hearing such sweet and careing words from a stallion, much less one who is used to the ways of war and blood shed. Still, I must confess; Your apperience ment very little to me apon our first meeting. I learned from my dearest friend, Shade, a knight who fought in the name of the Rainbows only to die in such noble service, that one must never make their first judgement on another's apperence. One must always look past one's looks, no matter how lovely or ugly, and see one's heart. For within that cage of the soul, a person's true beauty and colors may be seen for what they truely are."
Dark tilted his head a little, the reds and oranges that made up it's color forming the apperence of a gental fire. "I only compliment your apperence, My Lady, for words alone could never hope to fully express your inner beauty. That, I'm am sad t say, I couldn't hope to describe or compliment without loseing my wits and become a blubbering fool. That wouldn't be very gentalmenly of me if I did start blubbering rubish." Dark winked at her, hopeing the words from his heart and soul managed to touch hers. If not, it would be a near fatal blow to the youth.

"I guess it wouldn't." Moondancer laughed. She did think that Dark did talk alot, but he was no fool. To her, it seemed that he knew what he was talking about.
"It is just the phrasing of the words." Moondancer said honestly. "They, the other stallions, just say I'm beautiful or something else as simple as that. You, on the other, bother using more complicated, but beautiful words..." She smiled and looked down upon the Moon Roses. Just remembering what Dark said made her all squiggly inside. Strange how what he thought of her, effected Moondancer differently than others.

Dark shook his head as he smiled. "Sorry, tis both a curse and a blessing from my father. He always knew what his point was, and strived to do his best to get across in the most poetic and meaningful way he could. He never was good at the words themselves, unlike my mother. She was able to turn any simple discusion into a work of verbal art. Combined, I've been cursed with not only speaking the right words, but in far more complicated forms than needed!" Dark laughed at himself for stateing one of his glareing weaknesses in the open.
"Perhaps in that way, I am a warrior and poetic fool. But at times, great foolishness opens the gates of true knowledge. For at times, the words of a fool are the wisest of words. Ah, but there I go talking too much about wise and simple matters." Dark turned back to Moondancer, admireing her. "You look so very much like the philly that the Rainbow of the Moon took the form of when it gave us the gift of the Moon Roses. I actualy have a scroll pictureing that very lady. It's been passed down in my family for ages. Would you care to see it?" Dark had the scroll on himself. Still, this was turning out better than he could have hoped.
