Time: Evening
Rose gave a somewhat half, yet still invitingly coy and playful smile as she pulled open the cafe's doors to allow Tsuwari inside. Her purple eyes flitted briefly towards the orange stallion beside her, causing her heart to lurch in a delightful manor.
Despite her outwardly happy appearance, a small wedge of her brain nagging reminded Rose Rebellion that not long ago the two of them had verbally argued with Jewel, where many things were said. Things that left the gardener silently fretting and contemplating the honesty behind Glayse's involvement with Jewel's death.
Still, her son was her first priority. Regardless of Glayse's prior actions, Tsuwari's happiness was what mattered most now. It had been nearly a year since Glayse's return and Tsuwari was undoubtedly used to the environment. Rose couldn't just throw Glayse out if she believed his ill actions. Of course, that still didn't account for her personal attachments to him.
The unicorn stepped in after Glayse and nudged him to look for a seat that looked well enough for the three. It was the first time Rose had actually really went into town with him. This was something big; she wasn't really hiding the orange stripe of the dark rainbow anymore. And as that thought crossed her mind, Rose resisted the urge to bite her lip, waiting for the reactions of the others there.

Clearly as if he could have owned the place, Glasye sauntered into the building with an air of both confidence and dominance. Not only did he appear the orange stripe--he was proud of the fact.
Tsuwari bounded in, excited to be going out. It wasn't often that the family took outings, though Tsu didn't know why. He was somewhat under the impression from his mother that the world was simply a dangerous place, and caution should always be taken.. even to the point of not going anywhere at all.
Well, Tsuwari would just have to beat this evil scary thing that made the world so bad, someday.
"This way, Rosie," Glasye strode over to a booth, letting Tsuwari in first so that the foal could look out the window, and have access to the cup of crayons supplied for his amusement.
The orange stallion slid into the booth, raising his menu so that Rose couldn't see him eyeing the jailbait fillies across the Cafe.

Rose took up her menu; taking a brief glance to eye the majority of the cafe's other occupants, before diving her own nose into the menu. Violet eyes scanned it's written contents, though her mind half wasn't into it. Sluggishly she scanned down the menu, hoping maybe something would jump out.
Sadly, those were the alcoholic beverages.
Rose crinkled her nose and skipped past these.
Let's see....Eenie, meanie, minie, moe. Guess it's the oriental salad tonight.
That big decision out of the way, Rose looked up to her foal. "What sounds good to you, Tsuwari?"
(I cannot say this enough: I love Glayse, heh heh)

"What sounds good to you, Tsuwari?"
Tsuwari looked up at his mother, ears swiveled forward. She had asked honestly what sounded good, and so he honestly replied:
"A milkshake," He smiled like an angel, "A chocolate one."
Glasye, while absently perusing the menu, allowed his mind to drift to a familiar, Glasye-like place. We could hire a babysitter for Tsuwari, and then I.....
((Heh. I think wingsong wanted something to happen to breezie, but I'll have to make sure of that.. lol.))

(oooooh don't tell me Glayse is gonna, you know, and Breezie? That would be rather dramatic XD)
Rose giggled. At least her son was honest. Any mother couldn't argue with that. Smile pleasently on her face, she stated, "I think that can be arranged, but you still need to tell me what you want to eat."
She grabbed one of the crayons near him, flipped her placemat over, and began to doodle while waiting for his responce. It wasn't anything in particular, just curves and squiggles, something to keep her hooves busy. Perhaps it was a display of the nagging anxiousness inside her.
Purple eyes darted briefly again about the Cafe, noticing one or two groups averting their gazes, as if suddenly caught doing something wrong. Rose swallowed slowly before forcing herself to focus more on the doodles than the crowd.
It wasn't until she looked down that she noticed the crayons she grabbed were gray, red, and orange. An idea struck her, and she doodled via stick ponies a big orange pony, a medium red unicorn, and a small orange unicorn. The abundance of hearts surrounding both the big orange and red unicorn was clearly lavished.

"I think that can be arranged, but you still need to tell me what you want to eat."
Tsuwari smiled and nudged his mother affectionately with his nose. Not every day warranted chocolate milkshakes!
After a few moments of looking over the pictures on the foals' menu, Tsuwari spoke again, "I want grilled cheese--no, pizza--no, chicken nuggets......" And thus he continued in a roulette of dinnertime meals.
"Better pick just one, Tsuwari," Glasye said with a fatherly tone, "Otherwise your mother and I won't be able to fit you back in the house!" He winked, and inwardly craved something, anything, with a generous amount of alcohol in it.
Tsuwari prattled to himself while Glasye's gaze turned to Rose's doodles. Without thinking much of it, he reached for the gray crayon, and in a few strokes, depicted another small pony figure next to the family group. Tossing the crayon to the side, he looked up at Rose with a truly mischievious and almost devious expression.

Rose blinked a moment at what Glayse had just done. He'd drawn an extra pony to their little pony family. Her mouth half opened in surprise at the connotations of his actions.
Coyly, she looked back at Glayse with a raised eyebrow. "Someone doesn’t know the meaning of the word inconspicuous."
Rose rubbed the back of her head thoughtfully. Wasn't it just a day ago that she knew he clearly wasn't as turned over as she'd have liked? And Tsuwari was still growing...Rose had to make sure he wouldn't end up like Glayse at all. A second child would just add to that situation, wouldn't it? One foal sired by a fragment of the dark rainbow was risky enough, two seemed to push it.
"I'll think about it.," she stated in return. Suddenly Rose wasn't entirely against a little alcohol in tonight's meal.

"Someone doesn’t know the meaning of the word inconspicuous."
"Who, me?" Glasye brought a feathered hoof to his chest in mock surprise and innocence. "I believe I don't have any idea what you mean, Rosie-dear.." A large orange ankle rubbed against hers beneath the table.
"I'll think about it.,"
Glasye smiled the best 'honest and innocent' smile he could, though inwardly he felt like his teeth would shatter at any moment. And who would he be without his pearly whites?
Wheels of deception and ambition turned strong in the stallion's mind. The distraction of a second foal would not only allow him room to further influence and corrupt Tsuwari, but would also give him a second chance at living on through his offspring.
"Any idea what you want, love?"

"Gender wise or food wise, dear?," Rose chuckled slightly to herself, taking precaution to flip the placemat over back to it's formal side.
(sorry, brain fart)

Glasye blinked, unprepared for her mind to still linger on the topic of another foal. However, he quickly resumed his cool, suave self, as he replied with false surprise, "For dinner, Rosie!" and accompanied this with a smile that only the most observent would see in it a twinge of evil.
Just as he spoke, a young male pony approached the table where the family sat. He looked rather bored and tired, with half-closed eyes and a shuffling stride.
"Hi, welcome to the Cotton Candy Cafe," He said almost in a monotone, probably something he said in his sleep by now, "May I take your order?"
Tsuwari looked at the waiter with wide, excited eyes. Oh, how he could taste that shake already! He opened his mouth, but after a glance to his mother, promptly closed it and waited his turn to speak.
"How about you, little stal?" The laid-back waiter raised his eyebrows at Tsuwari.
"I..I.." Tsuwari didn't bother to look to Rose for approval this time--the waiter asked! "I want a chocolate milkshake!! .... Please!" He smiled and after Rose's prompt, continued much more calmly, "And fish sticks and applesauce ..,please."
The waiter wrote this down with a small smirk of amusement, then turned to Rose, "And for you, ma'am?"

"For dinner, Rosie!"
The red unicorn noticed the spark in his eye that she could easily identify as something suspiciously rebellious. This only caused her to smile just as mischievously, despite how uncertain she felt, and replied simply with, "Perhaps."
When the waiter approached, Rose was more or less surprised that he initially didn't react with ill meaning towards Glayse's presence. This may have been partly due to the fatigue in his stance. She shrugged it off; she wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth.
Rose smiled politely when Tsuwari managed out a relatively healthy meal. She didn't quite agree that fish sticks and applesauce really went together, but what was she to argue about? He had ordered something without much complaint that she could settle for.
As the waiter turned to her, she smiled curtly and spoke casually, "I'd like a half serving of your oriental salad, dressing on the side please. And...ah..."
Her eyes flitted briefly over the menu. "A mohito." There went my no alcohol policy for the night.
(Good ol' Hemingway, his alcoholism, and his mohitos)

"All right," The young waiter said with an absent snuffle of his nose. "For you, sir?"
Tsuwari could barely be heard in the background, bouncing slightly in his chair whispering, "Milkshake.. milkshake.." with every little bounce.
"I'll have the penne, with a Red Bushwoolie to drink," The stallion said, tossing his menu onto the center, clear space of the table.
"Drinks'll be right up," The waiter suppressed a yawn and shuffled to the kitchen area with his small clipboard. Glasye settled in his seat, looking relaxed and completely in control. He grinned and half-raised an eyebrow to Rose.
"Mama," Tsuwari said, nudging Rose's side, "Mama, I have to.. I have to go."

Rose quirked a raised eyebrow to Glayse at well. A sort of 'what?' expression. She could have a drink, couldn't she?
"Mama, I have to.. I have to go."
Rose's face instantly changed from the 'what' to the 'slightly paniced mother.' Quickly she began to scoot out the side of the booth to allow Tsuwari passage out. "Okay let's use the little foal's room."
Once he was standing, Rose moved to the back of the store where restrooms were marked. She waited calmly by the stallion's room, and opened the door for him, not quite sure exactly what to say. The mother hoped her actions were enough to prompt him on his own way.

Tsuwari hurried after his mother toward the restrooms, tossing his head up in the air as he walked into the stallions' restroom all. by. himself.
Back at the table, Glasye leaned back on his side of the booth and tilted his head back for a moment, stretching his thick neck muscles. Casually, he tiled his head toward the rest of the Cafe, instantly spotting the hottest piece of mare in the vicinity.
The stallion raised an eyebrow, surveying the mare's body as she laughed from her seat at the bar. Righting his head, he caught her gaze and smiled charmingly in greeting. The mare giggled and parted her mouth in a silent "Hi."
Glasye jerked his head forward subtly and snapped his teeth toward her, playing his favorite game..

Rose exhaled softly, letting the door shut behind Tsuwari. What in the world was she going to do? Glayse wanted a second foal. Did he have any idea....
Rose paused.
No, Glayse probably did have an idea. It was most likely why he suggested it to begin with. Jerk. She silently fumed.
Though, Rose seriously took to mind, they had been sharing the same house almost a year now. And they had recently began to make use of her modestly large bed again.
Absently she pulled a hoof through white locks. Now that it crossed her mind, she should get onto some birth control pills. The idea of a second child was nice, honestly it was, but she had to keep in mind the consequences. That was all there was to it. Rose had to put her hoof down. She'd call up the doctors in the morning to have a prescription made.
