"Good, you were getting downrigth freaky on me fever. Now what is wrong? You didn't normally act like this as I remember." he smiled gently as he could while another stallion was standing in his territory. Tink wanted to read High Tide's eyes, btu couldn't. It was like soem force wouldn't let her see into those eyes, it forced her gaze away, something about thos eeyes scared her, but what? She forced herself in, no matter how much it scared her, she cried out faintly, trying to mask it but unable, she kept her eyes closed, "Don't look into his eyes mace, whatever you do." she hissed, the pain was unimaginable, and she had a good idea why. Even if he hadn't meant too inflict it.

Spring Fever smiled. She was glad Mace was back to the way she remembered. "Maybe we should start over," she suggested. They hadn't gotten off to a very good start. She became puzzled as Tink told Mace not to look into Tide's eyes. She looked at them. They looked fine to her. She looked back at Tink and furrowed her brow confusedly. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ High Tide was puzzled as well. What was this mare's problem? Was there something in his teeth?

Tink glanced at Spring's eyes, "He isn't right, tehre is soemthing wroung, reading is painless, or at least it should be! I see everything in your eyes, past, future, thoughts, lies and truth! I can't see a thing through his except some minute imformation before it got to painful to read" Mace grimaced "Ah, I tend to trust her on things like that. She reads people's minds through their eyes." "Its a bit more complicated than that actually."

Spring didn't bother looking puzzled. She was sure everyone knew she was confused. She looked around at Tide but nothing seemed wrong. Even he seemed a bit mixed up.
~*~*~*~*~*~
High Tide crossed his eyes, trying to look at them. Why was there something wrong?

Tink gave up, she ahd to know, she grabbed High tide and forced him to look into her eyes, what was wrong with those eyes? When she pulled away she was obviously in pain, though not showing it, "You hypnotize, its like a repellant to me.'

Spring Fever raised an eyebrow. "You hypnotize?" she asked accusingly.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~
"Well, yeah," Tide said sheepishly, "But I didn't know til just a while ago when I was attacked by a psychotic pegasus." He rolled his eyes in remembrance.

If Tink had abeen a cat she might have arched her back and hissed, but luckily she was a pony and much more civilized. "Ah, you never knew? But what about your memories? Some weird oens anyway, why be obsessed with the ocean? Believe me, I've been there, horrid weather, its damp and dreary. all the time."

"I don't know why I'm obsessed with the ocean," Tide said explained, "I've just always wanted to see it. And maybe I have used my hypnotism when I was little, but I never understood it." He doubted this sounded very believable, but he told the truth.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Spring was still getting over the fact that he had hypnotism. Creepy. She looked over to Mace, who hadn't had much to say, and couldn't believe he was back.

Shaking some of his forelock out of his eyes, Moe looked up from scribbling in his notebook to the group of ponies around him. There had best not be any domestic disputes...they had a police pony to watch out for! Moe smiled to himself. He would have said plenty, but he was too smart a stallion to do that. Oh no. One wrong word out of his mouth, and he would have been reduced to dust under Mace's hooves. And that might upset Tink. And that couldn't happen. Revelling in his brilliance, Moe went back to his list-making. He had 4 categories already: Arsonists, Terrorists, Murderers, and Kidnappers, as well as about 15 names of residents in each. Ponville would be brought to justice after all! Pinkie Pie would promote Moe when he got back.. he just knew it. What Moe hadn't pondered though, was when Pinkie Pie was coming back... and if he would ever come back at all. (ooc: I'll try much harder to stay with Moe--sorry about all this, guys! )

Tink smiled, "And of course this is Moe, who followed us." Mace looked mildly dipleased as he faced the blue stallion "Another one? Doesn't anyone respectect territorial boundaries anymore?" he sighed and turned back to face Fever, he would not rip their throats out, he would not rip their throats out, he would not rip their throats out... Tink did her best not to laugh, "Whatcha writin' buddy?"

(OOC: It's alright Jewel ) Spring glanced over to the blue stallion she had just noticed. He held a notebook in his hand, and she couldn't help but wonder what he was writing. "Nice to meet you Moe, I'm Spring Fever," she said curtiously. ~*~*~*~*~*~ High Tide eyed the stallion and laughed softly. Mace seemed to be having trouble keeping his temper, and while Tide thought better of laughing at the situation, he couldn't contain himself.

"Quiet! Before I rip you open and-" Mace caught himself and a shudder coursed through the stallion's muscles as he tried to calm himself. "Shhhh..." Tink nuzzled her boyfriend worriedly "Maybe you should go?" she asked him "I will not leave you with two stallions! Even if they are both puny." Mace managed through grated teeth, Tink nodded and turned back to teh rest of them "Methinks you should tell this story without anymore dilemmas, before Mace hurts someone. "I will not hurt anyone, maim them maybe, not hurt them, they'll go into shock before it can hurt."

High Tide couldn't stop laughing, so instead he suddenly had a coughing attack to be polite. He wanted to laugh more at the fact that Mace had called both Tide himself and Moe puny, but he just coughed louder.
~*~*~*~*~*~
Spring Fever nudged Tide sharply. Obviously Mace had issues with other stallions, and she didn't feel like watching a fight. They should all get along and things would be fine.

Moe held his notebook tighter, and looked up at Tink, "Sorry, dear.. official confidential Police Pony business. You know," He winked.
Moe regarded Mace with a mixture of amusement and confusion. "My friend--You honestly think the Chief of Law Enforcement, Tink's best friend, would let anything happen in his presence? I believe you're mistaken." His tone was neither argumentative nor offensive.. it simply was. Without even a look, he scratched his head and went back to his list-making.
...and I'm NOT puny.. I'm the Law, buddy!

Mace just glared at Moe and half-way bared his teeth, he was calming down by now, but not to much. "Ok, um, story please?" Tink laughed nervously and managed to get mace's attention. "Sure, whatever, Sprng and I were friends as kids, I fought and killed my adoptive father and never saw her again after that. Now, can we please leave? Unless anyone has any question of course." he grumbled.
