Breezie wished she could remember how many stories high she'd been. The young mare would have tried to have a strong gust of wind upend her, if only she knew which way up was. But before she knew it she had hit the hard walkway below with a nasty snap.
After lying in a heap for several moments, Breezie remembered Dasher. She would have to see what had happened and get on with the chase. But ignorance is bliss... With a sigh, the young mare shifted to get her legs for the most part under her. But when she put weight on her front left foreleg she yelped and fell back down. Kneeling on her other three legs, Breezie took in a sharp breath and examined the leg. Her hoof just sort of hung there when she held it up, and at an odd angle.
Oh great. My first broken bone. Mixed in with the pain there was disappointment. After many hazardous adventures and experiences that should have ended in fractures but never did Breezie was beginning to get the mentality that she was indestructable. But here it was - a broken ankle from a simple fall off of a roof.
Breezie tried to stand again and limped a few feet, trying to be careful of her front left leg. But it hit the ground ever so slightly and she sat again, holding it and whimpering. I'm not gonna cry. I'm not gonna cry...

Dasher leaped out of a alley, onto a street and right into a orange mare, causing the peg to drop her bag. Dasher was quick to apologize. "Sorry!" She resisted the temptation of snatching the purse and continued running towards the tall trees.
((Well, cont. at the outer edges then.))

(ooc: My apologies. My computer recently died, and I'm stationed on our new, bare bones computer. Unfortunately, with these new computers you have to by Microsoft software, so alas, I do not have a program on this thing with spell check.)
Peri Winkle looked onward, thoughtful for a moment. At Jewel's reaction to the 'nip' he'd recieved, he almost questioned how far Jewel would go to teach the other a lesson. Seeing the act upon Coon Skin, well, he could imagine.
However, aprehending one criminal all ready was enough for the day, wasn't it? The actor had gotten a good look at both Breezie and Star Dasher. If he was serious about sorting out any sort of compensation problems with Breezie's adventure with his scooter, he could inform local authorities about searching for her. After catching the fleeting glimpse of Moe with Coon in tow, Peri made a mental note to hound a capable enforcer of justice.
Turning back to Jewel he offered a big, relieved smile. "Let's just go home, we've got our excercise today. How about you go on a head, I'll see what I can do with the scooter.," he offered. It wasn't safe to leave parts out like that, ulg....he'd have to call someone to move the parts back to his home and then he'd have to call his boss. Maybe an insurance agency. Peri couldn't recall if his current plan covered scooter accidents, although he knew they covered theft of motorized vehicles.
The white stallion gave Jewel agently nudge, followed by a nuzzle for her to go onward.

Breezie was too determined to just give up, so she stood again. "Arggh! If I ever catch that purple mare..." She grew silent again and looked at her limp foreleg, part of which was hanging at an unnatural angle. "Maybe it isn't broken..."
She sighed and hobbled a couple of feet. "Oh, I wonder if there's a doctor in town. I wonder if he's like one of those mad scientist doctors like in those old horror stories. I wonder if they still shoot ponies that break their legs, because there's nothing they can do!" Her eyes widened as she got more and more hysterical with each thought. "Well it's settled then - I can't go to the doctor. Or I'll get shot or turned into a mindless zombie pawn! And that wouldn't be fun - not fun at all."
So Breezie, now having distracted herself temporarily from the pain, headed across the street and towards town square - she would check up on the scooter and see what could be done, and call that white stallion guy that owned it the next day. Then she'd...go back to the apartment. But then Wing Song would take her straight to a doctor - she was sure of it. So she would just have to find somewhere to live until her leg healed in its own, and then her roommate would be none the wiser.
"So it's settled then", Breezie said aloud, and then the young pony continued to slowly and painfully make it through town until she could make out the mangled shape of Peri's scooter in the distance.

"Let's just go home, we've got our excercise today. How about you go on a head, I'll see what I can do with the scooter.,"
"Are you sure?" She asked, wanting to be helpful in any way she could. When Peri nudged her and insisted she go, she kissed him briefly. "I think I'm gonna go to the river instead.. I don't feel like being inside today. Meet me there later?" She asked, stretching her wings briefly.
((sorry.. crappy post because I feel crappy -_- ))

"Of course," Peri Winkle offered a smile. It didn't appear as warm as he meant it, as he squinted his real eye from the sun, his lips turned up in the corners. The smile seemed more like an awkward clown face than anything else.
He left the other with another quick nuzzle and began at a slow jog back towards the center of town. It took the most of five minutes, and for the bulk of the journal Peri couldn't help but think about a decent shower, or how his boss may kill him. Nearing the broken vehicle, Peri's keen eye recognized the limping Breezie's figure. His slow jog slowed even further as he c0cked his head in inspection.
The actor's nose crinkled up as he realized the cause of the limp. He'd seen his mother once before when he was much younger have a leg bent at a funny angle. His mother was still way deep in dept from his father's medical bills that she refused to see a doctor. She'd set her leg wrong, so unfortunately his mother still suffered an odd limp.
There was no doubt in Peri Winkle's mind that Breezie's leg was broken. It wasn't from the scooter crash, so the only answer Peri knew to how was Star Dasher. The white stallion snorted once, before jogging up beside her. "Hey, hey, hold on," he instructed, walking in front of her and asserting himself control of this situation. The first thing that had to be done was to get her off that leg.
"Look, I'm going to get you to a hospital." Peri said with a calm, yet stern tone, "Do you have anyone you can call, parents? Friends?" He pulled out a cell phone (all actors had them to his knowledge), and waited for her.
(he could call parents or what not, or an ambulance instead of walking you there.)

As the somewhat distracted actor left in pursuit of handling the scooter situation, Jewel took a moment to shake her coat slightly, then stretched her wings wide. With a few strides and powerful flaps of her wings, the mare was ascending into the pale blue skies above Ponyville.
The small town quickly grew smaller as golden wings carried the pegasus into the lowest clouds. Here she drifted on the air currents, closing her eyes to freefall or loop now and then. Before she knew it, the beautiful splashing colors of the Rainbow River were in sight.

Breezie saw Peri come up to her and smiled a little. She gestured to her leg, ignoring the pain this caused. "Fell off a roof." "Um...hospital?" Yeah right - there's no way any crazy doctors turning me into hid mindless slave! She decided to ignore that and moved onto the matter of who to call. "Umm...you can't call my parents. My roommate..." Breezie paused. Wing Song would take her straight to the hospital too. "...Actually, I don't know her phone number..." The young mare's green eyes flitted around the streets, looking for a way out of the situation. She knew she wouldn't be able to convince Peri to just leave her there, so she'd have to reassure him that she was going straight to a doctor...without actually going to see a doctor. Then Breezie saw a nearby street sign and the memory of when she's last seen it clicked into place. It had been the day she arrived in Ponyville, and she'd never really come bacl to deal with things so... "My scooter's just around the corner! It's still there from when I crashed it a little while ago!" (( What must Peri be thinking?)) Then she limped away quickly and made it around the corner to her poor scooter. It could get her around a lot faster than she was moving now, assuming it could still run - and the faithful vehicle had never let her down before(her mom had always made sure she'd kept it in order back home, and upon buying it she had specified wanting a "durable" one for her daughter - apparently it hadn't done much good though). She turned it right side up, took some time to quickly and carelessly reattach a wheel, and clambered onto the mangled, off-balance scooter. She looked back, afraid Peri would say something, and put a hoof on the gas pedal. It didn't run. So Breezie focused on an exceptionally powerful gust of wind, kept it steady, and mananged to get the vehicle rolling. "Hey Peri it runs so I'll get myself to a doctor this way!" She shouted it over the howling wind, and didn't seem aware of the fact that it was obvious that the scooter didn't actually run. She managed to get it rolling down a hill and the wind didn't have to work quite as hard((deja vu - I hope the brakes still work )). "I'll get in touch with you about the scooter! And thank you - oh yeah - and sorry!" ((Go ahead and go off with Jewel - I can tell you want to! Breezie may or may not be fine, but it's out of your hands now anyway. ))

Peri Winkle bit his lip in obvious concern. He had to admire the young filli. She was stubborn, and determined to not need help and to prove herself. It was why she had continued the chase after Star Dasher.
Perhaps if Peri had actually stayed with her, she may not have contained the injury. The actor could not just let this slide. He felt a nagging guilty emotion of being partly responcible in allowing a young adult get herself caught up in a dangerous situation. That, and judging by her skills with not only his scooter, but HER OWN crashed one, Peri doubted her ability to safely get herself towards the hosipital.
"Blasted death traps," he muttered to himself. Peri especially couldn't expect to feel any different having lived a minor couple of months at the Nursery when the Castle was being restored. He'd grown accustomed to how foals constantly got into trouble. Jewel was understanding in that if he was late in meeting her and had a logical meaning, it wouldn't do him harm.
The actor averted his eye long enough to dial the number for the hospital, while slowly beginning to jog off in Breezie's direction. While following after her to make sure the vehicle would not just break down on her, Peri instructed the hospital to have a wheelchair and doctors ready to help Breezie. Once the task was complete, he focused on keeping sight of her.
(It's not in Peri's direct nature to just leave someone hurt like that, especially a kid.)

((If you're sure. I hate to keep Peri from his date is all...))
Breezie had picked up momentum on a hill, but this time had what she considered to be control. She drove it up onto a curb to test the steering, and in her excitement sent it sailing back down into the street. Wheee!
The young pony was keeping all weight off her injured leg, so the pain was more of an uncomfortable dull throbbing - it kept more than that to keep Breezie's spirits down. Then she turned one of her ears behind her and thought she heard hoofbeats behind her. Is that Peri? Did he follow me? She stopped the scooter(it tipped to the side slightly and chunk of plastic fell off the left handlebar) and looked over her shoulder. He didn't have to do that.
"Peri?" She realized she didn't want him to catch up, and took off again, assuming and hoping it wasn't Peri.

((Btw, she kind of detours through a post at the Rainbow River, then back to Ponyville to try to lose Peri. I'm just saying this for continuity reasons - it's really nothing to pay any mind to.))

(I keep forgetting Peri's in here. Well, I'll just wing something out to keep this going again.)
For a while, he couldn't keep track of the scooter, and a knotted pit worked itself up in his stomach. Had she made it to the hospital all right? Had the scooter crashed somewhere? Was she even headed to a hospital?
The soap star would never be able to forgive himself if he wasn't able to prevent harm from happening to a foal if he could help it. Nervously he began punching the number for the hospital again to see if she'd checked herself in when her scooter came whirling in his line of sight.
That was it, she hadn't gotten herself there yet. Peri wouldn't take horsing around anymore. He took a few running steps in the direction of the scooter, and focused his mind and conjured the magic that Inti had formerly bestoed upon him. Using his mind, he began to will Breezie's body from the scooter's seat in an attempt of pulling her safely from her scooter.

Breezie was cruising along, loving the wind in her mane when suddenly she felt herself being lifted from the scooter. She stretched out a bottom hoof to slam on the brakes and then hit solid ground. She was looking around, a little dazed and wondering what in the world had just happened when she saw Peri. Bus-ted. "Oh...hi", she said, smiling nervously.
