"I know, Rosie-love.. I know.. I'm sorry.." Glasye soothed, Yeah, sorry I enjoyed her death so much... No, wait.. I'm not sorry, the orange stallion laughed heartily on the inside. Seeing the death of a pony who had not only insulted him, but attemped to murder him was candy to his soul. If he had a soul.
"I'm here for you, Rosie.." The stallion said, kissing the red mare on the head and pulling back only for a second to wipe the tears from her eyes. He then allowed her to snuggle against his chest again. Ah, the warmth of a mare's body again.. how I've missed it! Heh..

"I'm here for you, Rosie.."
Her heart's pace quickened. He was right, much as Rose hated it, it was true. He was there, now, at least. Where else could he turn, anyway? If he stayed around in Ponyville he'd surely be hunted down and killed.
Even now he was at some risk, Rose was certain, but did he have a safer place anywhere else in Ponyland? Word had spread of the Dark Rainbow's attack from last summer, others would recognize Glayse at some point, suspicious would grow into chaos, and he would be just as dead as before.
Glase honestly needed her. If he needed her badly enough, he certainly would be sincere about at least one or two things, or act pretty darn close to it. And now that Jewel was gone, the one she felt most comfortable with concerning her current situation, was now gone.
Oh, Rose had other friends, yes, but there was always the matter of Tsuwari. Kailani, a good childhood friend, was so self-rightious, so protective, and so sensitive to the Dark Rainbow that she'd weed him out right away. Rose didn't like to make accusations, and it made her sick down inside to think as so, but lately she wouldn't put it past Kailani to kill Tsuwari should she need to.
Perhaps Glayse was all she had.
Rose inhaled a raspy chunk of air, then sobbed it out in a heap. She nuzzled her face deeper into his chest (and probably wiping any runny nose drippings into his coat in the process). Slowly, her body began to stop it's constant shaking, though her tears had not yet resided. "Th-thanks, Glayse." she murmured genuinely.

The orange stallion grimaced as Rose wiped her facial fluids on his chest. Reminding himself to be patient, he blinked his eyes hard and pulled her even closer. He could always shower later, right? Hopefully.
"Th-thanks, Glayse."
"You're welcome, Rosie-love.." He murmured back, letting go of a big sigh. Pulling her back a little bit, he wiped at her tears with a hoof, looking into her purple eyes with his hypnotic orange ones. "I told you I loved you, didn't I?" He asked gently, touching her face, "And now I'm back. And if you'll let me stay, I will." Heh, well.. long enough, I suppose, Leaning forward, he kissed her cheek, sending with it the essence of what made Glasye, well, himself.

(likes the snot Glayse? It was a present)
Rose looked back at Glayse and released a small, yet sad smile. Despite whether he was truthful or not, she was genuinely thankful for his presence now. Though, honestly she probably wouldn't hear the news so soon of her death if he had not been the one to deliver it to her.
"You can stay, I suppose...until they search for you. You might have to run then." She referred to the town. Absently, her stomach rumbled. Rose hadn't touched breakfast, and Tsuwari hadn't finished his. "Oh...I...I guess I'm kind of hungry. Do you think you can handle food?"

"You can stay, I suppose...until they search for you. You might have to run then."
Glasye scratched his head with a hoof, careful to put his mane back in place after he had. Run? I don't want to run from anyone, he thought stubbornly. A stripe of the Dark Rainbow runs from no one!
Rainbow of Darkness.. wasn't there something he was supposed to.. nah. Glasye grinned inwardly as he remembered his pact with his siblings. He'd unfreeze the Indigo popsicle, kill her, then kill himself. Or.. he was supposed to. I'm afraid I'm having too much fun, He thought, Sucks for you guys!
Regaining his serious air, Glasye responded gratefully, "Thanks, Rosie," and nuzzled her neck briefly. Then he heard her stomach grumble.
"Oh...I guess I'm kind of hungry. Do you think you can handle food?"
Glasye shook his head. He didn't want to admit it even to himself, but he was feeling tired, sore, and a little swamped by his own worries. He did note, however, that it was so much easier to take things like this when he had his siblings at his side. They just had to be good for SOMETHING, didn't they?He growled inwardly. When they were together, they could share the pain, and heal each other. Alone.. he was almost like any other pony, only with a truly evil heart.
"You go eat.. I think I'll just rest," He said, touching his stomach. He winced at the pain.
"Why, hello there," He said as a little orange-red head popped around the corner. Tsuwari recoiled for a second, then slowly reappeared, noticing Rose held so close to the bad pony.
"Let go of my mama!!" Tsuwari charged forward, waving his horn everywhere but Glasye, snorting and rearing, "Leave her alone!"

Rose turned her face to Tsuwari and instantly pulled away. Feverishly she wiped the teards from her face, not wanting him to suspect how much she hurt emotionally that moment.
"It's okay Tsuwari.," she tried to reassure him. Not that it would be easy, moments before she was telling him how Glayse was a naughty pony. Trying to offer a distraction, Rose pointed to the unfinished pancakes. "You still have breakfast to work on."

"But! But the bad pony is here!" Tsuwari fought his mother, still swinging his head around, hooves digging against the carpet. He snorted, and snapped his teeth. "You made my mama cry!" He yelled, "Go away! You're bad! Go away!"
The little foal was glad he had interrupted when he did. What on earth might have happened if he left his beloved mother with that monster!?
"Easy, son," Glasye said without thinking. That term could be taken many ways anyway, he reasoned, "Listen to your mother."
You little brat, Glasye inwardly rolled his eyes, I love it that you're so passionate and mean, really I do, but PLEASE just shut up..

Rose approached Tsuwari and whisked him up in her arms. Her famous last words. She'd never expected him to come back, at least not injured as he had. How to explain things to such a young mind? Perhaps reverse psycohology?
"Tsuwari," she whispered in his ear, "The bad pony loves it when you yell and scream, so if you really want to hurt him, you've got to be quiet."
Oh, Rose was a genius.

Glasye looked away for a moment and bit his lip. Well, you are right, Rosie-dear.. I do rather like it when ponies yell and scream.. especially in fear, or, as the case is with my son here... in pure hate. Ohhh yes.
Tsuwari struggled for a moment longer, glaring and snorting at Glasye, who simply smiled back at him. The foal was taken back to see his own eyes staring back at him. He kept quiet though, as his mother instructed. In a quiet voice, through gritted teeth, he asked, "Can I zap him?"

A mischevious smile curled up upon Rose's face. "Certainly," she cooed softly in his ear. It should amuse Glasye, if not she'd get a hoot out of it. It was unlikely Glayse would try to do anything in his condition, and should he try to strike back out of reflex, Rose would be waiting.
With that, she set her son down on the ground and pretended to be interested in finding food.

Tsuwari's ears perked forward at the same time that Glasye's eyes widened. Exactly how powerful HAD Tsuwari gotten? As the orange-red foal began to creep closer to the stallion, head lowered and shoulders hunched, Glasyed pushed himself against the couch, "Uh.. Rosie-dear!" He said, losing a bit of his normal composure, "Rosie?"
"Bad pony," Tsuwari growled, jabbing Glasye in the thigh with his horn, and sending what felt like a strong static shock into it. The orange stallion yelped in surprise, and tried to regain his cool. "Rose!!"
"You stay away from my mama," Tsuwari said, keeping his voice quiet like Rose had told him to. He zapped Glasye's leg again. Glasye grunted, squirming slightly. There was no way he was about to get up and run from a foal, especially after the battle today. "ROSIE!"
"Leave her alone!" Tsuwari said, slighlty louder. He bit Glasye's flowing orange tail and began to tug on it. Hard.
"Ahhh!" Glasye couldn't lean forward because of the injury to his stomach. He thought about throwing a pillow at the foal or knocking him out of his skull, but he didn't want to provoke Tsuwari any further, or alarm Rose.
"Rosie-dear!!"

Rose began to hum, minding her own business. Inwardly, she smiled like a mad man. Ah, sweet justice. Each time he squeaked, Rose fought to contain laughter. Finally, she stepped back into the room a smug smile on her features.
"Welcome to world, Glayse." She paused, letting the words sink in for him. Glayse would have to endure this kind of behavior for a long time. And you know what, Rose wasn't the slightest bit inclined to feel sorry about it. He was Glayse's avatar, after all.
"All right Tsuwari, I think he's had enough shock therapy for one day."

"Welcome to world, Glayse."
Ugh! I wanna go home then! Glasye thought with disdain. His skin still burned where Tsuwari had zapped him repeatedly, and his stomach hurt more than it had before.
((come on, jewel.. stay awake..))
"Thank you," Glasye said between gritted teeth, a forced smile on his face. He cleared his throat, "Quite the little devil, aren't you?" He asked, chuckling a little. I wouldn't have it any other way.
"All right Tsuwari, I think he's had enough shock therapy for one day."
Tsuwari snorted briefly, shaking his head a little and looking up at his mother. As he did, his expression softened. He glanced back at Glasye, who was starting to relax again.
"But Mama.. why is he here? What are we going to do?"

Rose larger smile softened gradually. How could she put it without him questioning the integrity of her earlier story?
"You know he's a bad pony, right?," she questioned again, "Well, everyone in town knows that too. So when they saw him, they beat him up." Or at least died trying to, Rainbows I'm certain he probably killed someone...wouldn't put it past him.
"Before he became a naughty pony we were really good friend, so he came back for a little help. I also owed him a big favor." She bent down and rubbed the top of his head affectionately. "So, since he needed my help, he's promised to behave." Her head looked up and her purple eyes met Glayse's daybreak ones. "Isn't that right, Glayse?"

Tsuwari thought this over, taking a few minutes to consider it all. If his mother said it, then it HAD to be true. Glasye was bad, so he was punished, then he came back...
...Why did that sound familiar?
He had promised Rose he'd be good, so she was taking care of him. Tsuwari looked at the faintly red bandage on the stallion's middle, unphased by the sight of it.
"Isn't that right, Glayse?"
"Oh, absolutely," The orange stallion said with a serious face, "I'm not going to be a bad pony anymore," He added, thinking, I'm going to be worse, in my own way.
Having had enough of this spectacle, Tsuwari gave Glasye one last look, nuzzled his mother's shoulder, and trotted into the kitchen to finish his breakfast.
"He certainly loves you a lot," Glasye smiled a little, already devising ways to transfer that respect and loyalty away from Rose and onto him. "You've done very well with him, Rosie."
"Mama," A young voice called from the kitchen, "My pancakes are cold!!"
