Star Catcher thanked Peri and took the number. "Expect a call in about a week; I want to take my time, so I can make it my best."
He lifted his eyeridges as Dream Catcher left. There must have been something bothering him...
((Gah! I don't reply for only one day and... eh!))

Tyr watched the interplay and shifted his weight, one leg thumping hollowly on the floor. "I guess I'm just in a dour mood today. Perhaps I need some coffee..." Just the idea perked him up a little, and he quickly ordered some. Even gods were susceptible to the lures of coffee....

As conversation continued, Jewel's attention shifted to the god who had joined them. Readjusting her position slightly, she settled into her seat, keeping her arms crossed over the glowing-stoned amulet. Her eyes drifted inconspicuously to the gray Tyr, but didn't linger for fear he'd figure out her curiosity. Gods... She thought, I can't say I'm terribly familiar with them. Unless... Her thoughts drifted to the one that spoke to her when the amulet performed its glowing, swirling antics. She's not a god... I don't think.. The golden pegasus speculated, unsure. She looked at Tyr again, hoping not to meet his eyes. Maybe I'm just crazy.

The white stallion nodded in response to Star Catcher. A week seemed suitable. If he managed to hook the peg up, Star would have to work with various other staff writters, which Peri was certain that they'd insist Star perform faster than that at work. Peri had no worried about it, though. If Peri got him into a job, it was no skin off his back if Star couldn't perform.
As Tyr recieved his order, Peri took a small sniff of it. "So what did you order, friend?," he asked trying to create some sort of small talk. He still hadn't heard the guys name, and felt just slightly intimidated by his appearance to ask it.
(Holly, I said Dream Catcher instead of Dreamer~ te he)

"Very black coffee." Tyr said with some semblance of cheeryness. He sensed Jewel watched him and took a sip of the coffee, half closing his yes in pleasure. "I'm Tyr, by the way."

Star Catcher blinked at Tyr. "Hi... I'm Star Catcher." He held out his hoof.
(erm... I don't know if he's met Tyr already but I just want to get it moving!! XP)

Peri Winkle smiled at Tyr, returning his gaze to the lovely ladies and Star Catcher.
He gently slid his drink to the white peg. "You have to try this, it's nutmeg flavored."
(again, trying to keep it moving)

"Star Catcher. Nice to meet you." Tyr shook his hoof firmly, but with a distant air. Star Cather. Once upon a hundred times, that name had belonged to someone else...sometimes, the sense of deja vu caught him off guard.
Then agian, who's to say he HADN'T seen it all before?
Tyr shook his head. "Ever have one of those moments where, for some reason, everything suddenly seems odd?"

Peri had to contemplate this for a moment. Had he? Off the top of his head, he was sure he had to of at least once. Or was it all the times he's acted out awkward scenes to begin with? No, that can't be right. When has something felt...wait...How could I even forget that?
He chuckled a little to himself; he's had a glass eye so long that he's forgotten he didn't have it. "Yes. Yes, I can say I have. Usually it's when others start to catch on about my..how could you put it? My face jewelry?," he said trying to form the words, "Oh, that doesn't sound right, I'll just show you guys."
Like it was nothing at all, Peri removed his right, glass eye.
(Or was it left? I forgot, lol)

Tyr blinked, surprised but not at all disturbed. After all, he'd lived with ODIN, alos mising an eye, and there was his own...well. It was easier if he just demonstrated as well.
"How interesting. How'd you loose the original?" Tyr made a particular flicking movement with his right hoof, simultaniously dismissing a minor illusion. His right 'hoof' fell to the ground, and he stood there quite casually on three hooves. His right leg ended somewhere just above the fetlock. "I was bitten by a wolf."

"I'll be...," he said, very much intrigued at the end of Tyr's leg. Imagine the things you never notice until someone tells you.
"Let's see now, how'd I lost it.," he began. His mind worked on trying to form an explanation of similar length to Tyr, but found it just a little difficult. Finally, he managed to come to an easy answer.
"I lost it when I was two or three, too young to remember it. My father had a few brain tumors. Eventually one swelled and put pressure on whichever part of the brain caused anger. He snapped, had an anger fit of sorts, and out with my eye.," he explained, "My mother couldn't relay the full details of what it entailed, but in short that's how it happened."
He smiled like it was nothing, for to him it really wasn't, and popped his eye back in. If he didn't have to work tomorrow, he'd considered wearing his eye patch for once.

The golden pegasus wordlessly looked from Tyr to Peri, silently marveling over the removable organs and apendages. She was careful not to stare, or otherwise exibit any behavior that would make either stallion uncomfortable, though they're probably used to it by now, she reasoned. It almost made her wish she had an ear or something she could remove and show everyone.
Almost.
In all honesty, she enjoyed still owning all her parts. She even had things that weren't really hers, but were still *part* of her. The knowing things.. she would attribute her ability to detect a liar to her contact with the griffin, but it had been for longer than that. Somehow, it all had something to do with that darn amulet. Jewel would have to find someone in this town who could tell her what it was.. she had to.
But for the present, here she was in the cozy little cafe with old and new friends. Friends who, despite chemistry, weren't saying very much. Jewel nudged Willow, motioning to the box of sugar packets. Once it was passed to her, the purple-eyed pegasus began constructing a tower of sugar packets similiar to one made of cards.
